About $1,000, where in three other different places I was quoted around $600-800. They kept calling, emailing AND texting me until I told them I no longer needed their services. Well, they still kept emailing me until I just had to block them. Also, their email etiquette is unprofessional. I can tell they really tried but this business needs a lot of improvement.

They offer a lot of things you may want to rent in order to have a successful party. The contractual agreement to read and sign is very easy and intuitive. The payment method is also very easy to navigate. I would consider Tlapazola in the future for other events I may need in the future. Thank you for a job well done!

Initially, we had planned to have the tent grounded to the grass but with the rain, last minute pivoted to the side of the house. One star has been removed, mainly because the communication closer to event was a little unclear. Specifically, because the event took place on the 3rd (right after new years), it was unclear when the set-up would take place. I did end up texting and reaching out and the correspondence came later in the day by Jorge. In addition, the rain delayed the set-up time and we did have to make up the last minute pivot. I found out later that due to the rain, his co-worker left early sick and he came alone to set up the canopy the night before. He did a great job securing the canopy and appreciated his service. Like mentioned above, it all worked out at the end and would definitely use South Bay Party Rentals/ Jorge again for future events.

I was told I could come and pick up table linens, which means they have table linens in shop. I was not told they need to place an order for table linens. They should highlight, underline, star, etc. that important detail and disclose that in their event quotes. When I went in to speak with them at 11am, the young lady was rude and said to leave. She was not accommodating at all. She said "so you blame me for your last minute order." I told her they were closed Tuesday, she should've disclosed payment in full was needed to place an order for linens. Two of my family members attempted to Zelle them payment. We called and emailed her saying they will Zelle payment and that it wasn't working. Again, for her not to respond to our calls or emails after 6pm, knowing that we attempted to Zelle them, knowing we needed linens for a graduation party, is an indicator that they're only looking out for what's convenient for them, not the customer. 1/2 star rating.

I had about 35 people over and the arrangement I rented was perfect. The gentlemen who delivered and picked up the furniture were also very helpful and nice. They were right on time both times. I notified CalJump of this cancellation more than 72 hours in advance and they still have yet to process my refund despite written confirmation that they had. I have tried contacting their business numerous times via call and text and have either been ignored or told that the manager would check on it. If you do purchase their services, be sure to pay with credit in the case you need to cancel your event. They will reverse the charges for you if CalJump does not honor their refund policy.

Very poor customer service. I walked in, the lady sitting on the chair never greeted me I asked if they had a certain kinda piñata she said over there pointing to all the piñatas never getting up off her seat to show me where it was. I found it and bought it and it was the worst piñata ever. It already had a big cut in it under one of the arms that couldn't be seen cause of the paper over it. It was very flimsy it broke super easy due to poor construction..... I'd never buy another piñata there again it was also over priced...... if I could give this place zero stars I would. read more

After…read morefourteen years -- yes, FOURTEEN -- the owners of Del Rey reached out with a long, rambling message about how they've "changed," implemented new procedures, and dramatically improved the customer experience. They then asked if I would kindly update my review and star rating. The short answer is no. The long answer is an enthusiastic, absolutely not. If a business has truly changed, it doesn't need to go hunting through ancient one-star reviews asking for revisions. The reviews take care of that on their own. Interestingly, several glowing recent reviews come from accounts with exactly one review to their name. Curious. Meanwhile, plenty of others continue to describe experiences similar to mine. So I'm skeptical. Here's the thing: you don't fix a reputation by asking disappointed customers to rewrite history. You fix it by consistently delivering good service and letting satisfied customers do the talking. You had a chance to make things right a long time ago. You didn't. No amount of new "procedures" changes the genuinely regrettable service I received. So no -- still one star.

I was able to get everything scheduled pretty quickly after our conversation. I have no complaints in regards to customer service. The price for the jumper we chose was a bit more compared to the other party supply companies I had considered because there was a $30 delivery fee tacked on from Carson to Long Beach. I thought that was a bit odd because we can't pick up and set up the jumper ourselves, so it would have to be delivered. Nonetheless, I paid the $150 because it was for my daughter's party and we needed a jumper. They were 15 minutes late, which I was very understanding about for two reasons: the first being that she did call and let me know that they would be late and because it was still well before the party started. My issue arose, however, when we told them where we wanted the jumper placed. We've had jumpers at the location before and typically, if the jumper won't fit in the back, they will let us know before set up. That did not occur and she tried to tell us that the jumper was fine where it was. However, we discovered that once it was blown up, it was hitting the power line, which we felt might be unsafe for the kids and could potentially damage the jumper. The person setting up went around the jumper trying to move it around and make it work but it was proving to be unsuccessful because we just weren't comfortable with how it might still hit the power lines above. So, we apologized and asked if they could move it to the front for safety reasons. She finally agreed to move it but not before letting us know that we would be charged an additional $25, even though they were late and I would think she should know if it would fit or not before inflating it. This brought our grand total to $175 for a party jumper, which was quite excessive in my honest opinion. Overall, the jumper was fine and the kids had fun, but I can't say that I will be using this company again.
