My sister had went to this gentleman to get a piñata made for her daughter-in-law. For her 50th she requested a piñata so I came here to find on. The gentleman showed me the piñatas he had available and I ended up ordering a custom one. Service was great. The piñata came out amazing and the price was reasonable. They do only accept cash or Zelle and there is an extra charge for Zelle but still very reasonable. read more

The Pinata was fantastic! Big and durable...it lasted for several hits from various children at the party. The Pokémon Pinata was so cute we almost didn't want to use it, and instead just keep it. Definitely recommend. Since it's custom made, order it about 2 weeks before you need it. They need some time to create it. read more

I love them! I needed a piñata that looked like my dad, for his surprise 60th bday party. We made it a fiesta theme and had intentions of filling it with candy. We decided not to because I guess it's "not cool to hit your dad with a stick?" Haha We sent them a photo of my dad and they literally got EVERYTHING right, down to the Nike shoes. Well folks, as you can see, this is no mere piñata, it is a work of art. So remarkable in fact, that we momentarily questioned bashing it into pieces and discussed that perhaps instead, we would display it on the fireplace mantel where it could be admired for decades to come. They make the most amazing custom piñatas , last week they made a custom flamingo piñata for my granddaughter. We have been going there for years and they have made everything from Mickey Mouse, Paw Patrol and a large basketball . The owners (Luis and his wife) are so nice and friendly . Not only do they make custom pinatas, but they were really nice and accommodated me on a very short notice. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they blew me away with the quality of the pinata. It's a tiny place to walk into, but you can see the kinds of piñatas across the counter from you. Most items are $15 or $20. My cupcake piñata was $20 cash only. The lady was kind enough to point out where the insert was for the candies. Of course there are much more variety in Downtown LA for the same price as here, but it as very convenient for me, as DTLA is a far drive. read more

I ordered a custom piñata, jumper, tables, and chairs. The piñata was supposed to be ready Thursday before the rest of my order on Saturday. The guy wrote it on my receipt, and I called ONE hour before the pick up at 5pm because I was in the area. They did not have a clue of what I was talking about and it wasn't ready. So I had to wait. I let it go and I'm like ok Saturday will be better. I paid extra for the new chairs. They were dirty and not white. The jumper smelled so bad and was dirty as well. (go see pictures) unfortunately the kids were not able to use it. It smelled like pee to be honest. And to top it off he was late to drop off the tables, chairs, and jumper. I had to call him multiple times. Drop off was between 10-11. He didn't show up til 1:45. Worst experience ever. read more

I got a MASSIVE black cat piñata for Halloween plus an orange hitting stick for less than $30! The piñata was a HIT (pun intended) with my staff & students alike. For weeks, we've left multiple messages and even took the time to drive to their location (which is open) to be told they simply can't be bothered with local rentals or our annual rental anymore. Not sure why Aida didn't return any of our messages to tell us so we could book with another rental place? Good thing WE followed up and our event is still a few weeks out, or we'd still be waiting and likely out of luck. I'm a firm believer in karma. That the way you treat people who've given you their business and money for years matters. Obviously, Advanced Party Rentals does not, and eventually, I trust karma will catch up. Hopefully, it's not during your rental...should you take that risk.

I notified CalJump of this cancellation more than 72 hours in advance and they still have yet to process my refund despite written confirmation that they had. I have tried contacting their business numerous times via call and text and have either been ignored or told that the manager would check on it. If you do purchase their services, be sure to pay with credit in the case you need to cancel your event. They will reverse the charges for you if CalJump does not honor their refund policy.

Even though it was going to be costly (Melissa quoted me $140), I decided to go with Melissa because she was the only vendor who said that an ivory balloon was doable (all other vendors I asked said they could only do black because the pink or blue confetti/mini balloons inside would be see through). So when I asked Melissa about an ivory balloon and she said that was doable, I trusted her... I even asked her once before I sealed the deal (out of hesitation and my gut from all of the other vendors saying they could only do a black balloon) if the confetti inside would be see-through and she reassured me it wouldn't be. I regret trusting her and should've followed my gut. Melissa comes on the day of my gender reveal party, with the ivory balloon, which is totally see-through. The blue inside couldn't be more obvious. What sucked was as soon as everyone walked through my door, the first comment they made was "we can see the blue inside..." - so to say my gender reveal party, which is supposed to be a special, sweet, and truly once in a lifetime moment was ruined by Melissa and her ignorance.. is an understatement.
