They asked for a picture and did an amazing job with less than a week's notice! I asked to make sure the piñata didn't look too real but rather more cartoon like. I know where I'm going for all my future needs. I've attached a photo of the bachelor and his piñata. (PS This is a family business and I believe they use their dad's cell as the main line. So just mention Piñata right away and you'll get the help you need. lol)

I asked for a Dinosaur Pinata and I sure as heck received the best Pinata I've ever saw. I almost felt bad for it when the kids was beating it up with the stick. But it was totally worth it. The piñata price was reasonable. I will keep this place in mind when planning another birthday party

My sister had went to this gentleman to get a piñata made for her daughter-in-law. For her 50th she requested a piñata so I came here to find on. The gentleman showed me the piñatas he had available and I ended up ordering a custom one. Service was great. The piñata came out amazing and the price was reasonable. They do only accept cash or Zelle and there is an extra charge for Zelle but still very reasonable. read more

The Pinata was fantastic! Big and durable...it lasted for several hits from various children at the party. The Pokémon Pinata was so cute we almost didn't want to use it, and instead just keep it. Definitely recommend. Since it's custom made, order it about 2 weeks before you need it. They need some time to create it. read more

I love them! I needed a piñata that looked like my dad, for his surprise 60th bday party. We made it a fiesta theme and had intentions of filling it with candy. We decided not to because I guess it's "not cool to hit your dad with a stick?" Haha We sent them a photo of my dad and they literally got EVERYTHING right, down to the Nike shoes. Best. Piñata. Ever. We were in need of a custom piñata for an adult birthday party, I sent him a bitmoji image for reference and came back a couple days later to pick up the "piñata". Well folks, as you can see, this is no mere piñata, it is a work of art. So remarkable in fact, that we momentarily questioned bashing it into pieces and discussed that perhaps instead, we would display it on the fireplace mantel where it could be admired for decades to come. They make the most amazing custom piñatas , last week they made a custom flamingo piñata for my granddaughter. We have been going there for years and they have made everything from Mickey Mouse, Paw Patrol and a large basketball . The owners (Luis and his wife) are so nice and friendly . Not only do they make custom pinatas, but they were really nice and accommodated me on a very short notice. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they blew me away with the quality of the pinata. It's a tiny place to walk into, but you can see the kinds of piñatas across the counter from you. Most items are $15 or $20. My cupcake piñata was $20 cash only. The lady was kind enough to point out where the insert was for the candies. Of course there are much more variety in Downtown LA for the same price as here, but it as very convenient for me, as DTLA is a far drive. read more

I ordered a custom piñata, jumper, tables, and chairs. The piñata was supposed to be ready Thursday before the rest of my order on Saturday. The guy wrote it on my receipt, and I called ONE hour before the pick up at 5pm because I was in the area. They did not have a clue of what I was talking about and it wasn't ready. So I had to wait. I let it go and I'm like ok Saturday will be better. I paid extra for the new chairs. They were dirty and not white. The jumper smelled so bad and was dirty as well. (go see pictures) unfortunately the kids were not able to use it. It smelled like pee to be honest. And to top it off he was late to drop off the tables, chairs, and jumper. I had to call him multiple times. Drop off was between 10-11. He didn't show up til 1:45. Worst experience ever. read more

I stopped by to purchase a piñata for my students (I work in public education) and got such a great deal! I got a MASSIVE black cat piñata for Halloween plus an orange hitting stick for less than $30! The piñata was a HIT (pun intended) with my staff & students alike. It easily fit 6 lbs of candy and was sturdy enough to take a good beating. (No lazy construction here! This is well put-together piñata!) I'm heading back this week for another purchase in fact. UNRELIABLE. We were loyal customers for SEVEN years with this business. From our wedding to our…read moreannual parties, Advanced Party Rentals was our go-to. Seems that loyalty was wasted. For weeks, we've left multiple messages and even took the time to drive to their location (which is open) to be told they simply can't be bothered with local rentals or our annual rental anymore. Not sure why Aida didn't return any of our messages to tell us so we could book with another rental place? Good thing WE followed up and our event is still a few weeks out, or we'd still be waiting and likely out of luck. I'm a firm believer in karma. That the way you treat people who've given you their business and money for years matters. Obviously, Advanced Party Rentals does not, and eventually, I trust karma will catch up. Hopefully, it's not during your rental...should you take that risk.

I noticed Nelson barely knows what he's talking about, which is odd since this is HIS business. He doesn't pay the people that work for him nearly as much as they should be getting. I would not recommend Advanced party rentals even for a moderate birthday party. There are rental places with much friendlier people who can produce better work for a better price. LOOK ELSEWHERE.

The staff did a good job, so I tipped them what I could plus I offered water since it was a hot day. The pricing is standard (maybe a little more) but this venue is very professional and reliable. They offer a lot of things you may want to rent in order to have a successful party. The contractual agreement to read and sign is very easy and intuitive. About $1,000, where in three other different places I was quoted around $600-800. They kept calling, emailing AND texting me until I told them I no longer needed their services. Well, they still kept emailing me until I just had to block them. Also, their email etiquette is unprofessional. I can tell they really tried but this business needs a lot of improvement.

He was incredibly responsive, quick to answer questions, and helped with details I wouldn't have even thought about. When the weather started looking iffy, I thought I might have to cancel, but Kirk was super flexible, offering advice and reassuring me he could reschedule or refund if needed. Luckily, the sun came out and the party went on as planned. He showed up right on time, was friendly, professional, and made the whole process seamless. They tried unsuccessfully to open the car doors and 5 minutes before we were supposed to be set up they were going get a different bouncy house from the warehouse. They said it would be about 30-40 minutes. An hour later they come back and set up the bouncy house, mind you this is 1.5 hours from when set up was supposed to happen. No tables and no chairs...
