Lohstroh Family Farms - Mini pumpkin varieties by the shop

About 30 mins outside of Columbus near Orient, the farm is easy to get to. They are solar-powered, too, which makes my heart happy! They have an awesome team who works hard and always with a smile. The shop has great treats and gifts. They have SO many varieties of gourds and pumpkins, too. Some I've never seen anywhere else. You can purchase pumpkins from just outside the shop if you don't want to take the wagon ride out to the field. There's also a little tractor train ride for kids and a small corn maze (both for a bit extra, maybe $4 each). They have goats to pet and big hay bales you can play on. If you choose the tractor wagon ride out to pick your pumpkin, it's $10 which includes any pumpkin you pick/can carry - no limit on color, size, variety. They rotate their fields every year so we have seen different field areas over the years. This year we didn't see the bee hives they keep on our train ride out. I hope their bees are still doing well! And now my favorite: The pumpkin donuts. They make them fresh right there and they are melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The donuts alone are worth the drive! They have chocolate and cherry donuts too but pumpkin is where it's at. I start thinking about these donuts in the summer, they're that good!! So whatever you do, don't skip the donuts!! Thank you Logstroh family for creating such a happy place for making memories. Here's to 40 more years!

The shop is full of goodies like handcrafted soap, fudge, jams and jellies, wood works, quilted objects and the list goes on and on. They had chocolate milk and even Creamsicle milk! We ended up taking home some apple cider and honey. We were also impressed with the friendliness of all who worked there. This family farm is one we will definitely visit again.

Now, if you happen to be a type A, very organized, clean freak like myself, then this is pretty much the definition of your heaven. First, the store is organized by rooms in a house. For example, they have a kitchen section and a closest section, etc. This is amazing and likely one of my favorite things about this place. I love that I can walk to one corner and easily find what I'm looking for instead of traipsing around for twenty minutes. Second, I found that everything here had pretty reasonable prices. I went to TJ Maxx and Marshall's before heading here and the prices were comparable... at least for what I was looking for. I walked out with a few items for my bathroom and several for my kitchen and it was all for roughly thirty bucks. I went home and geeked out, cleaning both rooms and getting things situated. Filled with unwanted and unused items from years past. Anyway, I digress! After a quick look on The Container Store website my hopes and dreams for this closet appeared. I was able to order all my necessary items. You can chose delivery (free with $75) or pick up at the store. I decided on a platinum Elfa solution for my closet. And the Elfa was 30% off BONUS! I love the shopping in store and the service is always amazing. However, due to the current situation my purchase was made online this time.

‍Bald White Guy Reviews‍…read morehttps://www.facebook.com/BaldWhiteGuyReviews/ The Farmers Table 26 E. Main Street, Mt. Sterling, OH Mon-Sat | 7am-11am (937) 269-1911 Inside the Sterling Bluegrass Jamboree FIRST IMPRESSIONS: 5‍‍‍‍‍ - 5 of 5 If Cracker Barrel and a banjo had a baby, it'd be The Farmers' Table. You walk in through the main entrance of the Sterling Bluegrass Jamboree building (yes, that's a real thing ), and boom--you're in a dining room that doubles as a music hall. Tables, and the unmistakable scent of sizzling bacon. Bonus points for the "Text Your Order" feature --I sent a message, got a cheerful reply, a photo of my ticket, and an ETA. Ms. Celina greeted me with a smile, my food was boxed and bagged, and the whole place was cleaner than a bald head after a fresh polish. Would they let me sing on stage while waiting for my omelet? Probably not. But a guy can dream. THE FOOD: 3‍‍‍ - 3 of 5 I opted for the 3-egg omelet, which included ham, mushrooms, cheese, and wheat toast. Solid. Eggs were cooked perfectly, and the fillings were generous. However, it needed a little salt and pepper to bring it to life. #NoSeasoning #OmeletNeedsAMicDrop ‍ SERVICE & STAFF: 5‍‍‍‍‍ - 5 of 5 Ms. Celina runs the show like a breakfast ninja. Friendly, fast, and full of charm. I suspect she could whip up pancakes and solve a crossword at the same time. VALUE & PRICING: 3‍‍‍ - 3 of 5 $12 for an omelet? That's a bit rich for my bald wallet. I could make the same thing at home for half the price... but then I'd have to do dishes. CLEANLINESS: 5‍‍‍‍‍ - 5 of 5 Spotless. Like a freshly waxed dome. PARKING: 4‍‍‍‍ - 4 of 5 Street parking is available. There might be a lot out back, but I didn't go exploring. I was on a mission for eggs, not asphalt. ‍ HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY: 2‍‍ - 2 of 5 Small step at the entrance. Not ideal. Use caution when entering or exiting--especially if you've had a few too many cups of coffee. ‍ SOCIAL MEDIA: 3‍‍‍ - 3 of 5 - Strong Facebook Presence. Makes frequent posts, and the page has all the required contact information. Stop by the Farmers Table page and hit "Like". Why you're at it, take a look at the Sterling Bluegrass Jamboree page as well. You may be a Bluegrass Fan and just didn't know it. COMMUNITY VIBES: When Ben & Joy's closed, Mt. Sterling's breakfast brain trust lost its HQ. The Farmers' Table has stepped up as the new morning meeting spot for farmers, business owners, and individuals working to solve the world's problems over coffee. ‍ It was good to see some familiar faces. OVERALL BALD HEAD RATING: 4‍‍‍‍ - 4 out of 5 ‍ A charming breakfast spot with heart, hustle, and hash browns. Worth a visit if you're in town, at Deer Creek, or just craving a side of community with your eggs. SUPPORT LOCAL! Tag your breakfast crew, share your favorite dish, and let's keep The Farmers' Table cookin'! And finally, why did the Farmer's Table move into the Sterling Bluegrass Jamboree Building???? Because even the mashed potatoes wanted to jam with the gravy! #dadjokes #BaldWhiteGuyReviews #BreakfastWithBanter #MtSterlingEats #SupportLocal #OmeletOpinions #BluegrassAndBacon #CelinaForMayor #BaldApproved
