Love this spot! Two Locals is a Black-owned brewery and it's perfect for sipping beer, eating sandwiches (there's a Liberty Kitchen inside!), and playing games with friends. It seems like they also host parties inside (though there isn't a separate room for this). Prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly! They were out of some of their most popular drafts the last time I went on a weekend, so just keep that in mind. They're a relatively new spot so it's understandable that they're working still working these details out.

What a joy to finally visit Two Locals Brewing! We happened to stop in on one of the owner's birthdays. There were free cupcakes floating around and an incredible playlist bumping. This location is primo! It's close to public transit, it's close to U Penn and Drexel, and it's a lovely, large and colorful space. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was much larger than I anticipated and the beautiful, fun mural that paints the wall is real piece of eye candy. We tried the Nubian Brown, the Clean Sweep unfiltered lager, and the Good Jawn pale ale. All three were tasty, but the Nubian Brown was my favorite. They have fun merch, to-go cans, and TVs showcasing live sports - what more could you ask for? The bartender was AMAZING! He was so friendly, funny, and radiated pure happiness. His presence made our visit so much better. I'm a big, big fan of Two Locals. They're on to something, and it's a welcomed addition to West Philly.

I have been following these brothers since the pandemic and their collaboration with other breweries on the 'Black Is Beautiful' brew! I have been following their activities along this journey to opening this location! I am so happy for them and this is an Epic moment in history as they are the First African American Brewery in Philadelphia. I attended the soft opening night and made another visit to check them out during the week! I love the location near the universities (Drexel & Penn) and the spacious building. It is an industrial aesthetic and the partnership with Liberty Kitchen has good food offerings w/African Cuisine as well as hoagies and charcuterie boards! The beer choices are good (Lager & Brown Ale) and they serve cocktails as well! I am wishing them the best success as they begin this journey! I plan on being a regular..if you are in the area..check them out!

Fantastic space. Great owners. Loved the Mexican lager and the smoked beer. Good feel.

I've been following Two Locals for a while & super excited about them opening a physical location! I came for the grand opening and while they are still brand new, I hope these honest opinions will help grow them into the staple brewery I know they'll be in Philadelphia. They are located in University City (on Drexel Campus) and the entrance is technically on 37th Street side. Once you walk in you have an instant site view of the brewery showroom (where the magic happens). They semi share seating space with Liberty Kitchen, the seating that is on the brewery side is clearly labeled with the company logo. I tried their Hazy 'If These Walls Could Talk' & Lager 'Lofa Lager'; they were served at a good temperature (I preferred the Hazy more). As of now the cocktail/wine/beer selection is very limited and I can only assume they will add-on more of their own on draft, domestic/imports (draft & cans) and more of their personality. They do close at 9PM from Sunday-Thursday and stay open until Midnight on Friday & Saturday. I think a semi downside (for me) is that if I wanted to order food from the kitchen it would be a separate check and I couldn't order from the bar. It is still in the same space, but I assume that's me being lazy, oh well. I loved that they play Maze feat. Frankie Beverly "Before I Let Go" as their last call song. LOL it felt like home in there. It was nice to see the owners and I enjoy supporting and uplifting my black owned businesses especially when they are the 1st Black Owned Brewery in Philadelphia. I look forward to reviewing them again after they've settled in a bit more.

Enjoy my good Jawn selection, and took a four pack to go. Great service great ambience and perfect location. Black on breweries are the wave. From Inglewood, to Kansas City, to Philly, they on to something.

Bartenders rescued my date on two occasions in one night. The drinks were good and really affordable, and I got a free cookie.

Pretty good overall!…read more Considerably big space for Philly. They had an upstairs too but I am not sure why it wasn't open during majority of the night. When the big crowd from the conference left they opened the upstairs. The Mac and cheese is SO GOOD. Very creamy and rich, the bread crumbs were an amazing surprise edition. This fatty finished it before the beer came. Lots of beer choices. I took off a start be size they were under staffed. So we were just waiting around for the check and the waitress kept forgetting what we asked for. Honestly, not her fault. There were like ~100 people and only 3 employees that I saw. So no designated waiter for tables. These poor 3 employees were the bartenders and the table waiters.

They aren't lying when they say that they have an extensive beer menu! I had a Dancing Gnome Kolsch which was very good and then a Corsendork Christmas Ale which was fantastic! I normally don't like spiced beer, but this one was perfect! My wife and I shared the cheese and salumi plate which was so delicious! My only re is not getting the large! My wife had the crispy chicken sandwich which was really good. The crust was crunchy and the chicken was tender and juicy. I had the porchetta sandwich which was recommended by our waiter and was SO DELICIOUS! It is a must! At first my wife was concerned about the limited menu. They may not have an extensive menu but what they do, they do right! Our waiter was really great and very welcoming, especially as we were from out of town. The place has a rustic vibe which fits with its old town location. We loved it! If we ever find ourselves back in Philly, we will definitely visit Glory again!
