Seems like the quality of food has gone down hill. The garlic knots are smaller and lack flavor. We had the chicken parmigiana, the chicken was moist, the breading was hard, the sauce was bland, and it looked like they just threw a piece of cheese on top. Service was still excellent. The wife and I met my aunt for lunch here. We had never dined here and thought we'd try something new. We were seated promptly and the server took our drink order. The restaurant had a fun atmosphere and looked clean. I originally was going to order the pizza, which looking at another table who had ordered it looked very delicious, but decided to order the meatball Parmesan sandwich with french fries. Seemed like the right thing to do for being in a restaurant named "Two Meatballs in the Kitchen". My wife ordered the eggplant Parmesan meal. The sandwich came out and everything looked delicious. The homemade meatballs were covered in a red sauce and mozzarella cheese. My aunt, who had ordered the same thing but with a cup of soup, and I both agreed it was very flavorful and tasty. The fries were hot and crisp. My wife rated her meal as delicious and gave it an 8 out of 10 score. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who's looking for casual Italian dining and I will definitely be back to try the pizza next time. read more

I would start training your servers to pay more attention to having a better attitude rather you get a party of 4 or just a party of 2. I am a regular there and every time I get one of the younger gals it's been a horrible experience. I do recall one of the waitress name was called Bella. Last time I had ordered a simple (this was another waitress) Caesar salad with chicken on top and I only got my Caesar salad and had to wait about 10 more minutes for my chicken. I figured she simply forgot to do that to add it to the salad .She could have easily told me I'm sorry I made a mistake that could be understandable It happens, kind of blamed the kitchen for it .It wasn't a hard order. Not to mention she never came back to ask me how everything was and if I needed anything else I was done with my meal and let her know " by the way everyone was good and we would like our check .I enjoy the bar especially with Lisa bar tending, because she is very aware of everything going on, and has amazing customer satisfaction. read more

For my wife and I the pizza is one of the best in the area! Having to sit at the bar to get the happy hour prices was very difficult as there was no seating for 4 of us next to each other so it's the luck of the draw! Still great ambiance, service and food! We will always come back! read more

We get takeout pizza once a week and have done so for a few years. Tonight and last week, the pizza was terrible....last week, it wasn't cooked enough and tonight, it had no flavor. There is obviously a new pizza cook. We won't be ordering again. read more

Second time we tried it. The caesar salad it is very good. The sauce in the spaghetti and meatballs literally taste like Chef Boyardee. Just awful. Meatballs aren't a whole lot better. There is nothing homemade about that food. No slow simmered sauces with fresh herbs. Of course on our way out we saw all the cans of tomato sauce tomato pure et cetera. You can start with diced canned tomatoes but the rest you have to do by hand. That's our last time. Just pathetic food. read more

The ambiance was very upbeat- lots of laughter and conversation- made for an enjoyable evening. The waitress was wonderful at explaining the choices and differences. Although I find this restaurant to be a bit loud I still recommend Two Meatballs in the Kitchen. Service was fast and staff was very nice. My husband had a very healthy portion the their veal parmigiana and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had their eggplant parmigiana and was floored by the flavor of the eggplant. Excellent! Both meals also had big portion of spaghetti on the side. You gotta go there! read more

We dropped in for early dinner at the bar. Pizza rolls and meatballs were delicious. We ordered the capri pizza and the crust was about as thick as a cheap paper plate and completely soggy. Ugh. We should have said something but chose not too. Hopefully it will be better next time. read more

If you're looking for an expensive, loud, noisy and overcrowded restaurant this one's for you! After an hour long wait for a table we finally were seated to order. We were unable to talk without a near yelling volume but decided to stay after waiting such a long time. The server brought out 2 rolls soaked and sitting in oil and covered with parasean cheese. I never tried them as while they looked edible I couldn't imagine consuming such a heavy oily roll before dineer (or after)/ Suggestion, put the oil on the side and let those who want to use it do so but for those who prefer not to let them enjoy a plain roll w/o the health disadvantages of the oil. We ordered the calamari as a starter which was delivered quickly but was very small in size for the price and was mediocre in taste and quality at best. For dinner, I ordered the "Skinny Italian" which was delivered in a pasta dish with the pasta swimming in a sea of oil. They said it was EVOO but it tasted like vegetable oil. I poured out at least 1 full cup of oil into another dish and then looked at what remained with the pasta still shimmering in oil and told our server I was sending it back. She returned with another plate, I ate a small amount of the tasteless and still oily pasta and simply decided this restaurant won't be on our repeat list. Why would you call a dish "The Skinny Italian" and pur a massive amount of oil on it that would have added at least 1600 = 1700 calories to the dish. It was an unfortunate waste of an evening. The service was ok. Suggestions are to try to get dishes more healthy, not just in the name but with real nutritional elements, tone down the noise significantly, install some noise baffles or other soft surfaces to absorb the irritating level of peoples voices trying to be heard. I'll choose elsewhere when I want to dine out in Cape Coral. read more
