Took advantage of my son and charged him over $1700 just to move to one city to another. What's sad is, he never told us he's charging per guy per hour. He told me it's minimum of $350 for 2 hours and $90 every half hour. Basically charged us a total of $4500 and said he gave us a discount which brought it down to $1700. I almost fell off the chair laughing so hard. Jason did a bait and switch and said he meant per man per hour at $190 for 5 guys....he charges more than any other movers I know. Oh by the way he challenged me and said if I can get him a competitive bid for the same move and not someone on Craig's list, he will discount. Well guess what, I found 4 and he still didn't honor his word. How can someone who says they're helping basically raped them in prices!! It's disgusting and so unprofessional. Never showed my son an invoice, had him sign and made up an invoice for $4500 many hours later before showing it to me. Karma's a bitch, what comes around goes around. Don't trust this company otherwise you will have the same problem.

Later they sent bill of 1300. After that trying everything and showing them the emails etc. didn't work and basically your items are hostage. We ended up paying to free our stuff. There are other movers but none that are that expensive. If you are doing standard items then you can judge the price, but something that doesn't fit in the normal description will be marked up by a lot and they won't tell you when they pack it. Only later when they have it stored they will tell you.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. We hired My Movers Inc. for an interstate move (about 12 hours away.) After a short phone call, they responded with a rough estimate based on the size of our home the following morning, which was a great response time. They scheduled an in-person walkthrough that week, showed up on time, and had an itemized, specific estimate by the end of it. We were able to schedule the move then and there, and were given guidelines on how to pack our things for the move and what wasn't allowed (e.g. liquids, fragile loose items, etc.) on the truck. Movers showed up right on schedule and cleared our packed belongings and furniture in under 2 hours. Similar story for unloading: they arrived right on time, and got all our stuff off the truck in 2 hours. Even though we didn't have a ton of stuff, I was impressed with how quickly they were able to load and unload. Everyone we interacted with throughout the process was friendly and polite. We ultimately came in slightly under the original estimate, which may not always be the case, but I appreciate when a business estimates high. Pleasant surprises are always better than unpleasant ones. :)

I called several Craigslist movers for quotes and every single one was at least $200+ what the Above the best guys quoted me. Another thing is that their quote was a flat rate and everyone else's quote was based on an hourly limit and charged significantly more every hour over. Had I gone with another company, I would have been out at least $300-$400 dollars. Three guys showed up on time, dressed in uniform and were super professional. One was a supervisor and he made sure everything was done right from wrapping furniture in blankets to unhooking and rehooking up the washer and dryer, etc. all the other movers I called refused to do washers and dryers and since I'm single and don't know how to do it, this was anther huge plus. Don't let the fact that they are based in Kokomo discourage you if you're from Indy. They showed up on time and were just great in every way. Give these guys a call; you won't be sorry!!

She was apologetic and motivated to make it right. Movers arrived at 5:30pm instead of 10:30am. Showed up with a 15' truck instead of 20', causing us to make 2 trips. I had pre packed and wrapped EVERYTHING and separated the garage items from the house items. Instead of packing all garage items or all house items at the same time, the movers decided to mix. I'm still carrying boxes back and forth between the house and garage, which are located 60 feet apart. One of the 3 movers suffered from heat exhaustion and checked out for an hour while the work continued. Understandable but confused why the company still wanted to charge me for that worker's time. The biggest surprise was never hearing from Grace's supervisor all day to apologize, explain, assist. Grace deserves better and so did I.

Hands down, this has been the BEST moving experience of my life. From scheduling the move, to the courtesy of the team, their efficiency...5 stars! The gentleman who scheduled my move over the phone was attentive, knowledgeable and provided costs to me upfront. There was no confusion on what we would be paying and they had plenty availability for the day that we wanted. The morning of our move, the gentlemen called me 30 minutes before arriving and guess what? They arrived EXACTLY at their start time! They promptly got to work, asking us during a quick walkthrough what things we needed packed up (apartment move to a house). They were friendly, laughing and talking to us, and very swift. They packed up our apartment and attached garage in a few hours and set off to our storage unit to pack the rest. YES - they stopped at our storage in the middle of the move to get the rest of our belongings! On the way to our new home, a 3rd mover from their team called me to inquire if I wanted to have a 3rd person to keep making the move go faster (as a member of the first team's shift had ended). I said yes, and the new team member showed up with the original team and kept going. I can't stress how polite these young men were! They gave us recommendations and asked our preferences all day! The biggest thing of all was that they moved a 400 lb safe up to the top floor of my house with not a scratch to any floor or wall!!! I was blown away. These young men were so considerate that they changed their shoe covers EVERY TIME they walked onto our new flooring and carpet! You guys can imagine how many trips they made...I just can't stop saying how courteous and polite they were. In the end, the money we paid was a great bargain for all that they helped with. I will forever use them for any moving needs that I have and HIGHLY recommend them!

First you order your box (which in my son's case was 2 large boxes). Basically they are massive wooden crates on wheels. They then deliver them to your dorm/apartment and you pack at your convenience. My son packed in between finals for a couple days. Then they come and take the crates at your designated appointment time/day. They have multiple options, but in our case, we needed them stored over the summer and brought back to his new dorm starting the school year in August. It was nice for him to not really have to seal everything in small boxes and pad things...you can use boxes to organize, but you can just put your stuff straight in...and the best part is that there is a clothes rod built inside that you can simply transfer your clothes on hangers straight in. Everything went smooth and I'll be using them again this year. I think they are a start up from previous alum. Anyway, great job Rolibox!
