Called Two Men and a Truck and talked to Jacob (this will be the 4th or 5th time that I have called them for local moving and donation jobs). Told him want I needed and answered my questions. He sent out TraShawn and Miguel the very next day to move four pieces of furniture plus glass tops and transport to St. Vincent de Paul for donation. They moved a dresser, mirror and glass top from the second floor. The other pieces of furniture were on the main floor. They spread out tarps on top of our wood floors so they wouldn't scratch the floors. They did an excellent job, no damage of any kind. We hired this business to move a refrigerator from our lower level to our garage. We were quoted a price of $370.00 the scheduling secretary said we had a two hour minimum. It took them 45 minutes. She assured us, that the movers were reliable and experienced, and they had the appropriate materials to move the fridge. Our hardwood floor steps were knicked, and the floors on the landing into the garage, have deep gauges in them. No cardboard was put down. The company called and asked for our feed back for the service. their response was "thank you for your feedback, it will help us do better". I've used this company three times now, I know that isn't a lot but I had a 5 star service all three times. The staff is so friendly and helpful and I never had doubt that I wasn't in good hands. Be aware! They won't be responsible for damaging your items, even though it's their fault plus they agreed to take care of it plus valuation/insurance was paid. The movers looked polite, but actually dishonest and extremely unprofessional. My TV was damaged because one mover pulled it from the wall mount and used his body to weigh it. He did the same thing to my piano, dresser and other furniture before wrapping them. The TV together with the wall mount fell off after he moved it. The mover said their manager would have someone to fix/replace it in the next day. But after several days, the manager had someone to call us to deny the damage. Here's what I got from their BBB response: "A crew member looked behind the TV to see how it was mounted. The crew had no tools and did not attempt to remove the TV as a release is required to remove from the wall. The crew continued the walk through and they heard a crash and the tv had fallen off the wall... We have denied damage to the TV as it was not in our care custody and control when the damage occurred. " Actually, the mover not only just looked behind the TV, he also pulled it, rotated it, used his arms to weigh how heavy is it, treated our TV like a toy. It's clear he violated their policy that he moved the TV before we sign the release. Ridiculously, we are the one who bought the insurance and wanted to file the claim, but they never reached out to us to learn what happened. They denied our claim solely based on their crew's words. Their crew already lied to us that the manger would send someone to fix/replace the TV, how honest could they be to tell the truth? There are a lot of similar cases on their consumer affairs website. It's very common for them to damage items during the move, and if this happens, don't count on them to pay for your loss even though you buy their insurance! read more

My daughter had your company come and move her to her new residence. This is not her writing this but her mother. Two of the movers were very personable and I felt they did a good job. The other man did I guess his job but very unpardonable. We had a problem in getting part of her sectional couch so he could just decided after two tries that it would not go in. It turned out that they did not get it in but I felt his attitude was not very business like . He was not rude just felt he did not really try. They need to send their employees to anger management classes. The young man that was working for them to day lost it because a SUV ran over one of the cones. Omgosh! The SUV could not get between the parked car and their truck.. so He got the cone and not the parked car. The one guy with the company was ok.. the other one went off. He started with the F this and F that than On and in and the middle finger went up.. I was behind the SUV it was close. The TwoMen and a Truck, truck was not very close to curb on their side.. and the cones were out far in street. The SUB picked the best way through from my view.. put the words and the yelling from the one guy from the company is luck the driver of SUV did not come back a file charges. I had my grandkids in car I had to explain how this action was not except-able.. Never calling them to help move! Might go off in my house! read more

If there was a zero I would rate them a zero. We used them for packing and moving. We were quoted a price for packing and moving Which they ended up charging us double to the quoted amount and said the person that did the Quote was terminated and made mistakes on our Quote. Strange we were not told this until after the packing and moving was done. Very unprofessiona!! In addition, our cloths were placed in garment boxes...sounds good until we opened the boxes and found they took out the hanging bar and just dumped our cloths in the box...my suits and other items were a mess and about 50% of our boxes were not marked with the room they came from. We ended up opening every box to figure out what room they belonged in. Just very poor work. i gave them a generous tip that I wish I could take it back. read more

We recently used these guys for a local move. We have moved to different states in the past, several times, and have used different movers so I have something to compare them to. They did quick work and since they are priced by the hour, they were very affordable. That being said, they were a little too quick and careless when it came to a few things. They were careful with the expensive stuff like the tv and such. But with our sectional sofa, they didn't latch all the pieces back together, and its not something I can easily do myself, so they are currently not connected together (later came to find out one of the latches that connects the sectional was severely bent and my dad had to fix it for us so it would even latch...I remember them being a little rough taking it apart from the previous location so I'm sure that's why it was bent). One of the bed frames for the guest room was not properly put together. The pieces were loose and barely connected to the headboard and footboard (I noticed it a few days after the move). At first I thought pieces were missing but thankfully after my husband looked at it he was able to fix it and put it together the correct way. They put a hole in the wall carrying our dresser up the stairs. It was a pretty large hole. They didn't even bring it up to us that they did that. We had to bring it to their attention and file a damage report. When they loaded stuff into the truck, they did not wrap our wooden night stands, and they turned my nightstand (with a a full drawer of personal items...it wasn't required to empty the drawers so i didn't) upside down, spilling everything that was in my drawer. That was a pain. They didn't turn my husbands upside down, just mine. Pretty unnecessary. Would have fit perfectly on their truck without turning it upside down. And there were some scratches on it as well since it wasn't wrapped. And they messed up my daughters bed frame which was already put together (and brand new) at the new house while putting the box spring and mattress into the bed frame. Also didn't notice it until they had left. Were they quick and cheap? yes. But that isn't always a good thing. Very careless. Nice guys, but careless. Will not be using them again for any future moves. read more

We hired two trucks and 4 men a month prior to our move. We obtained a receipt and they charged our card for deposit. We called several days prior to move and all was confirmed. They called US the day prior to the move and asked if we had any questions - note this was all the same admin Jennifer West. 30 minutes prior to our move we get informed we only have one Truck and 3 men. We called the company and talked to CG who said we booked last minute when we clearly have paperwork that says we booked 35 days prior. We now have two guys and one truck and we are moving in the rain. I will contact my attorney on a Tuesday for breach on contract. CG was very unprofessional but guys moving us were hero's! I wish this site allowed me to rate this company with less than 1 star. My concern with this company is that they make empty promises. They damaged our Arhaus headboard during a move last month and promised to replace it. After we sent them the original receipt their story changed. They also go days without any response to our numerous calls or emails. They are going back on their promises that they stated are "company policy to replace damaged furniture." I would not recommend using this company to anyone looking for movers. read more

We used these guys to move us from Indiana to Ohio and although the two guys they sent were great, we did have to file a damage claim with them. The hole in the wall they caused was repaired after two weeks of phone calls that was not returned and the normal run around, but the dining room table that was damaged has not been repaired. The table is large with two leaves in it and will need resurfaced to repair it correctly. Their manager John told me they would give me $90 for my trouble but would not pay to have the damages fixed. Since they caused the damage, I did not settle for the $90.00 settlement fee that was offered but honestly feel they should fix the damage they caused and stand behind the claim to have the work completed in a timely manner. I am very unhappy with the responses that I received on this damage claim and would NEVER recommend them to anyone again. read more

DO NOT USE THE MASON LOCATION!!! This branch is a joke. We went through their process and hired these clowns. We gave them a detailed listing of what we needed to move. The did not send a truck large enough to take it all. We had to rent another truck ourselves and move the rest ourselves. On top of that they damaged our stainless steel refrigerator doors. The unit has three doors and they damaged 3 doors. The unit cost over $1800.00 and they offered us $120.00. The $120.00 is derived from some wording in the agreement that states we are entitled to so much per pound for damaged items. We had to make numerous calls to even get that offer. Once the manager found out the value of the item there were zero calls made by the manager to us to follow up. The manager claimed to search for replacement doors, but as you might expect, none were found. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. If you do be sure to read the fine print, get the insurance and watch each mover like a hawk at all times. The team we had did several other minor damages to our new home and did not bother to tell us. We found it after the fact. PLEASE for your own benefit find someone else to move you. This group is absolutely the worst I have ever seen across any business segment in 30 years of being a business manager. Also, rating should be 0 stars. Software requires at least one. read more

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM: The movers were supposed to be at my house between 8-9am. I called them at 9:30am and they said that they were at my house. I told them that they were not and that is why I am calling. They were down the street at a different address. I had two men and a truck come move things out of home.They came unprepared for the day. They did not have enough boxes, not enough wrapping, and not enough bubble wrap. We had to wait for an hour for someone to come and bring supplies. They damaged my new Samsung refrigerator in the process. They scratched all 4 doors and dented them. When I said something to the mover, he got hostile and said it was like that. I told him that I just got that refrigerator last year and it is brand new. The other mover said that they damaged it trying to get it through the foyer and he was sorry. They were supposed to move me in one day. I still have things at my home to move. I paid $1,500 and some change to have them move me. Ryan the manager called me today and offered to pay a whole $100 to pay for my close to $6,000 refrigerator. That doesn't even cover the cost to have the doors replaced. I asked Ryan if he could refund me my money for the move, he said "no". I asked if he could replace the doors at least on the refrigerator, and he said "no" that all he is willing to do is $100. We "paid in full" the $8000 quote to move our household belongings from Mason, OH to Houston, TX. We signed up and paid for full coverage with replacement value insurance. After delivery was made, the driver/mover took pictures and acknowledged in writing the damages that occurred to our belonging during the transport. We filed the damages claim immediately which was over three (3) months ago and still can't get resolution despite the multiple promises made by management. Conversely, when we were shopping for a mover -- the salesperson made repeated commitments of, "reliability, integrity, trust, honesty, and you can count on us... Unfortunately, management is quick to collect the payment in full -- but ignores repeated phone calls for resolution. We have made over 15 phone calls to this office... to the point that the Recptionist feels embarrassed and uncomfortable every time I call to speak to the manager -- who is always unavailable due to being in a constant state of meetings. Bottom line -- We have never filed a complaint on any business nor have we ever posted a negative review but we don't want to see anyone else have to deal with a company that makes promises and commitments to get your business -- but fails miserably to deliver on that promise.
