The details of our move were complicated by Two Men and a Truck. Our furniture was not handled appropriately leaving it damaged and walls scuffed. They sent a third party handyman to "fix" our wood furniture but it can never be fully restored to how it was. The movers took a long lunch break and returned smelling of marijuana. First they say they'll send 3 guys to help move my stuff because of how big my items were to move. Two scrawny dudes show up complaining the 3rd didn't show up to work (Understandable the 3rd isn't their fault) but come on send some dudes that look like a plate won't be to heavy for them. They take one look at the tv and go "prepare the truck" is what they said what happened was they went to call their supervisor. He came and said his crew wouldn't be doing the job because of health concerns. Blamed the 1 piece of poop and the puppy pad in the hallway we were cleaning up when they got there. We contracted with Two Men & A Truck to move a family member from Two Men & A Truck to move a family member from Mustang, OK to Tulsa. We had 2 trucks and 4 movers - Richard, Jason, John, and Bryan. They were absolutely the BEST! They were on time, very professional, thorough, efficient, friendly and handled every item with such good care that we felt very comfortable with how they prepared and loaded everything so securely! This moved included 3 bedrooms, office, living room , dining room, kitchen, breakfast room, laundry room, garage and outdoor patio furniture, trellis & grill. We had a lot more stuff to move than we had anticipated so it was a long, hard day of work for them; but they stayed upbeat and positive all day long! We would recommend them 100%!!!!! read more

I would rate this company 0 if I could. I hired them to load my u-haul, which is a service they offer. They asked if I had moving blankets as they would not do the job without them. I confirmed that I had plenty of moving blankets. They loaded the truck; however, we were not aware until after they were finished and we caught them on video that they did not wrap any of furniture items. So, as a result I have thousands of dollars in damage. Some of the pieces were heirlooms. I contacted them to ask how to submit a claim and they said it's not our problem. So their advertising is false. I even reached out to the corporate headquarters with no response. After having my house renovated after interior flooding, three employees from Tulsa's Two Men and a Truck came to carry boxes and furniture, which had been stored in Pods-type containers, into my house. Upon their arrival into my home, I was surprised by the potent aroma of weed. They must have been partaking in the cab of the moving truck in which they arrived. Perhaps it was this which affected their ability to read. As they unloaded boxes, they paid no attention whatsoever of the writing or printing on the very well-labeled boxes. Heavy boxes were slammed on top of lightweight boxes with TOP LOAD and FRAGILE written on them, smashing lampshades and precious heirlooms. Huge heavy boxes with arrows printed on them to indicate the top were placed upside down indicating an inability to even read arrows. The guys were asked to place boxes labeled BOOKS in a spare room, but most were put in the living room, often on top of lightweight boxes. The workers made a tough unpacking job even more difficult. I had planned to use this company to haul home the contents of a storage unit in northwest Arkansas. After the performance of three of their workers, one of whom claimed he was working toward management, I scrapped that idea. I cannot and do not recommend this company. read more

I was surprised at how inexperienced the employees were about wearing their masks correctly. Several times it was below the nose while in both vulnerable assisted living facilities. Since I was unable to be in the first facility per their CoVid regulations, it is concerning if masks were well placed while packing my mother's items. Some but not all boxes were labeled. Several boxes contained items from different rooms. Some items were Not packed with care. Although, there was no apparent damage. No protection was placed on corners and doorways to prevent damage. The employees had no hustle or efficiency. It took them twice as long with three men as it did during my mom's first move with another company and two men. That company also provided door protection and charged me half what I was charged for a small one bedroom apartment. I also did not understand why a large box had to be used for the sofa pillows. (Just to charge for another large box) The previous moving company left them all on since the were wrapping the sofa anyway. I would have used that company if first facility would have allowed any other moving company in the building. I will not consider Two Men and a Truck in the future. This is by far the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. They will break items, lose your stuff and move as slow as possible all on your dime. The customer service is terrible and they will ignore your phone calls. They will charge you outside of what your contract says. They have over charged my card, refunded it and taken it back plus more in the last several months with zero communication. I cannot even begin to explain this horror story.... We used this company to move us from a high rise apartment downtown. Three younger males arrive and upon arrival one guy asked if he could use the restroom. The young man went to the bathroom and took a NUMBER 2! Did I mentioned we lived in a one bath/bedroom small apartment?! The lobby has a bathroom that he could have used. Anyway, so we pay for that guy to poop at our house and the other two keep moving. They delivered all items but the massive plant they took in which they forgot outside! An indoor plant outside in the dead of summer. Long story shot, all furniture in place and we began to notice lots of damage. We called the company and filed a complaint and they sent someone out to assess/fix the items and he was only able to repair one item. Disputes go back and forth for months because they didn't want to refund nor pay for damages. They ended up refunding around $300 of a $800 bill. We will never use them again and everyone should be aware of the timeless of their disputes /resolutions - not to mention the lack of refund we received. Terrible. Pro Mover Tip: Your moving crew are humans, not machines. I made sure there was plenty of CHILLED bottled water, fresh cut up fruit, muffins and bagels for them. Pro Mover Tip: TELL your movers how appreciative you are of them AND TIP THEM! I put their tip in individual envelopes that I had written their names on when they arrived. Yes, ask their names and use them. But remember they are working and not your friend so let them work and chat with your actual friends after the move to tell them how awesome Two Men and a Truck Tulsa is. Pro Mover Tip: I was able to get a 3-4 bedroom house packed in under three hours because I prepped almost everything in advance. And I didn't have stairs. Every box was packed and organized in the garage from small to large (I used 90% the same company's boxes so they were uniform in size). I had most of the furniture wrapped in moving blankets and shrink wrapped and moved to the center of the house before they arrived. There were just a few stragglers of furniture not wrapped and moved for them. It's a lot of work on my end beforehand but that's how I was able to get it all moved in three hours. I have had the worst experience using Two men and a Truck. I used their service this past weekend moving from a 1 bedroom apartment to a storage unit that is exactly 3 minutes away from the place. Not only were the movers late but the were small in stature and girth. But they also did not know how to park the truck. It took the an additional 10 mins to get the truck parked correctly. They began moving my I items about 20 mins after there arrival it the 2 1/2 hours to move everything out ( please keep in mind everything was packed broken down and ready to go. When it was time to head over to the unit, the were driving 20 to 25 MpH in a 45 mph lane. Needless to say they were milking the clock. During the move, I called the shop several times to complain to no avail. The management were extremely rude and ended up charging me $250 additional fees . I was told that I was charged for drive time, however, when the found some of my item left in there truck, it took the 5 mins from the shop to my house to bring the items. Be cautious and avoid this company. They have changed in a very bad way! read more

Be very leery of this company. Their contract says they will be as careful as possible with your property, but they will repair property if it breaks if it can. Only if it is irreparable will they pay you for it. But then their contract would only pay you $0.60/lb, or $2.50 per pound if you pay them an extra $150.00 per truck. Imagine that: It does not matter how much the item is worth, they will pay you based on its weight. So if they damage an item worth $50 which only weighs 1 pound, they will only pay you 60 cents or $2.50, depending on whether you gave them extra money. In my case, they admittedly negligently broke a pane of glass that is easily repairable. They strapped it to the wall with the glass facing in. Notwithstanding that their contract clearly states they will repair if possible and only pay if necessary, they have refused to fix it, and are only offering 60 cents per pound. They also charged me approximately 30% more than they said they would. With the excessive rates TWO MEN charges to begin with, that amounts to excess charges of about $1,000.00. Below is TWO MEN'S RESPONSE. Two Men quoted $3,460, and I was charged $4225, approximately 30% more as I said. The Two Men Contract says: "Damages: Although our movers will be as careful as possible, from time to time damages may occur. If damage is caused by our service, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK reserves the right to repair the damage(s) in question. If we determine that a damage cannot be repaired, we reserve the right to compensate for the damage based on your chosen valuation." Similarly, on the sales call the employee specifically stated that Two Men would repair a repairable the item regardless of whether one paid the extra fee. The call was recorded by Two Men and I was provided a copy. I interpret both the written contract and the call to mean that they will repair a repairable item before resorting to paying for an item based on its weight. As demonstrated by Two Men above, they are willing to disregard their own contract and their own sales pitch to save a couple of dollars. read more

The experience I had with this company on 9/28/2019 was extremely poor. First, the movers were unprofessional. Prior to starting the job, one young man was already discussing tipping allowance. The movers did not arrive until 3pm. I was not provided a courtesy call to inform me they would arrive outside of the window. Also, one of the movers smelled of marijuana. Secondly, I had a discussion with customer service when I reserved the given time in regards to hidden fees and much to my chagrin the amount requested on day of service was beyond the estimate initially provided and excessive for the time actually worked. This was adjusted accordingly after I would tip them $100.00. He made mention to me to keep it off the record. My friend and I assisted with moving some items, removing the plastic wrap, and folding the blankets to save the movers time. I highly do not recommend using this company. read more

During our routine follow up with customers call the day after, you attempted to swindle us and demand that you only pay 50% of what you agreed to in writing. ZERO complaints about the fantastic work our employees did. You just didn't have the money and thought you could bully your way out of providing payment. 10/10 don't recommend other businesses provide you with service if they want to get paid and don't want to have you breaking in and roaming the halls of their business after hours. My update: The proof is in the pudding. Your employee(Heather) lacks effective communication skills. Fails to know the policies and procedures in the company contract and most importantly acts out of emotion. I am so disappointed. My last two moves with this company have been great. But, this move was the most stressful, disorganized, and frustrating experience. The three movers that arrived were not happy from the start. I notified them at the beginning that I would need to stop at my family's house a BLOCK away to exchange a few things before moving the rest of the stuff. But, it took three men 7.5 hours to ultimately move my 2 bedroom house! They moved so slowly and were checking their phones throughout. The driver was rude, rolling his eyes and running my chest of drawers into the truck after I told him that at the final location, he would need to park on the curb. They wrapped maybe 50% of my furniture and had absolutely NO respect for my things, dropping tubs of my goods about 5 different times. And hitting my paintings on other objects. They packed the storage unit very poorly after complaining initially of the walk from the curb to the unit (which was cut in half by an elevator). The manager came out in the middle of the move after they arrived 30 minutes late to the storage facility that was 1.5 miles away. But, I didn't feel like I could really speak my mind to the manager when the crew was only halfway through my move and I didn't want to make it any worse than it already was. We paid almost $2,000 for our move. That amount included insurance to cover damage to our property. The movers damaged our brand new fridge that we spent over $2,000 on. I contacted Heather who handles their claims. They sent a repairman out on Monday which was days later. He had to order a part which means we've been without a refrigerator now in total for almost a week. All of our food in the refrigerator and freezer was ruined. I asked the company to reimburse us for that food and she offered $150. We have also had to eat out every meal in the meantime. I told her that $150 was ridiculous and she said that was all she could do. I'm at a complete loss at how a company that you spent $2,000 with could be so flippant and uncaring towards a family that because of them is unable to keep food or beverages in their home in 100 degree heat. When I told her I was going to dispute the charges on my card she said she would cancel the repairman and not have the damage that they caused repaired. My 3rd time using 2 Men and a Truck but unfortunately my last. The guys showed up on time on 11-01 but quickly realized they didn't have material to wrap my furniture. They had to make calls to get that which took awhile. I was very informative when I scheduled the move and told them that I had a heavy leather sofa with recliner's built in at both ends and that I was moving to a new location that is upstairs. When they arrived I told them how heavy it was they wanted to know if it came apart and I told him no. One of the movers offered to buy it off me so they would not have to get it into my new loft. I gave him a great deal at $100. They said they would come back to get it when they were done at the end of the day Friday but they never did, then he told me he would get it it at the end of the day Saturday but never called. Didn't call today either. On top of that they wasted a bunch of time trying to take apart my theater chair which wasn't even that heavy (the other mover even commented that he would not have taken it apart. As a result when he put it back together the electronics would not work. So after a long move I couldn't even recline in my chair and now I will have to see if the extended warranty on the chair will cover it. I suspect they damaged the cord somehow when he was wasting time trying to take it apart and reassemble it. This was a one bedroom apartment move. There were no appliances. Just living room and bedroom furniture plus boxes. I am highly disappointed and will not ever use you again now I may be stuck having to pay to fix my chair and I'm gonna have to pay to get somebody to come haul the silver out of the apartment so I don't get penalized for not moving out on time. I've moved with this company a few times now and my last move was by far my worst experience. The men didn't hustle like I previously experienced. They stood around in groups multiple times then took group vape breaks that I was still charged $250 for the break. They did have a 30 minute lunch break where I wasn't charged but that doesn't account for the all the multiple breaks overall. When it came time to move gym equipment they turned it into a weight lifting competition. This happened both in my home and on the truck. When it was time to move our bed they insisted on having crew members move it who have never moved a purple mattress before then laughed as they struggled. Five guys total and had two moving this mattress. We had bed pieces left behind at the house we moved from along with a $100 bed remote that is still missing. They had a supervisor come to our home to look for this item and he suggested that we use a remote from a different adjustable bed we own as if it wasn't a big deal. Most people have adjusted beds due to medical reasons. As someone who's in the medical field the lack of care on this alone bothers me to my core. When I was told about the lost/damage claim they stated that they would "make it right regardless as it's their reputation". This caused us to skip that $100 fee. However, this still wasn't the case for us. The men moving us told us they were paid $15 and hour while we were paying $250 an hour for the move. They complained about their job and how they would be doing something else soon. They took furniture apart and didn't reassemble it, causing pieces to be lost for a few days. By the end of the day they were basically throwing our stuff around and you could tell they were simply done. We had additional items that needed to be moved and ended up moving those on our own just to be done. The price of the move didn't bother us. They were left at the Tulsa location because they were broke during the offload. You off load 2 valuable boxes into your warehouse and a month later when the balance of our property arrived in PA, they weren't on the truck. I was offered $200 for property that was worth over $8000. Since it was stored in your warehouse at the time of disappearance I think your insurance should pay for replacements. read more

Horrible experience, just like everyone else's experience. they were hours late, same story as most on here, "truck broke down" when they arrived they were lost on how to perform their job. kept arguing with each other on who was the boss. had no regard for our property or apartments. dropped our dryer, destroyed our recliner, and rammed every wall, door frame, door they could possibly find, and when we got to the point we were yelling at them to be careful, they simply said "its all good two men and a truck will replace our damages for free. it took an act of god to get them to fill out an damage report. which they only did one for scratches on the recliner. when we finally heard back from multiple emails to management, we get a response from victoria hanson who was extremely combative, and rude! we still haven't heard anything back from this company. we were more than patient and understanding about the extreme delay, and a couple bumps here in there, but when it was obvious these movers didn't care about our things or their job we had to out right yell at them to pay attention, and we had to teach them how to do their jobs. when we first spoke with them they asked what our fears were and we told them, they reassured us, and then all my fears came true, and then some. talk about a moving nightmare. i could add tons of other comments but I am too busy repairing damages caused by the move. the delay costs us $$ with the apartment complex. we spent the whole move protecting our things, and teaching the movers how to do their jobs. Gather round and listen to the epic saga of how Two Men and a Truck heavily damaged my parents-in-law's refrigerator and refused to take care of it. It all began during their in-town move when the two movers decided they wanted to move the thing out of the front door. Now, with the doors off, it wouldn't have been a problem. But they didn't take them off, and as a result the fridge received three major scratches. Not little cosmetic things, but great gouges that went deep into the material. Oh, and thanks to the movers policy of not taking five minutes to remove the doors, they couldn't get it into the house - they left it in the garage. We filled out the damage report and expected to hear back What followed next was an avalanche of promises unkept and phone calls unreturned. They said the appliance repair place that could fix it had dropped the ball and it was out of their hands, but the repairmen said they hadn't heard from Two Men at all. After two weeks, they finally offered us to pay us $240, based on a formula of 60 cents per pound - never mind that, according to the manufacturer, two of the three doors cost a combined $348 just to buy, not even to install. We've tried both the local and the corporate office via phone and email, but still nothing. The local office has been especially bad at getting back to us, even hanging up on us several times. It's been exactly a month now, and they still haven't fixed the fridge. Though they did finally move the fridge into the kitchen 10 days later, though even then they didn't show up at the time they originally promised they'd be there. read more

So I made reservations a month in advance. Without going into details we had some problems and the movers weren't ready when we arrived. I was pretty Kurt with the young woman but she hung in there and made things right. Things go wrong from time to time. I understand this but the way you handle the problems is how I rate a business. Ms Count handled me and the problem very well and made arrangements that's were acceptable. The men even showed up early and were fantastic. So not a flawless move but they made up for it in customer service and kindness. A1 business model and I highly recommend. If I had one suggestion for the business it is to turn off your spam folder on your work accounts. I understand the problems that come with this but missing customer communication because it went to spam is not acceptable for any business. Email is the primary form of communication now so you should adjust. read more

I was told they'd both be wearing masks, but they did not wear masks for the entire time while in my apartment. (My neighbor ran into them going in and out of my apartment, mask-less. They were there for about an hour.) They were also maskless when I met them at the storage unit, though one did put on a bandana. The other did not. So I don't have a whole lot of trust for this company. It's one thing to tell customers that your crew is wearing masks, it's another to do it. They did not. Two thumbs down. Do not ever consider using this company. I used them for a move in April. They charged me TWICE for the same move, and I complained, but could never get through to the correct person to resolve it and no messages were returned, so it was only through the credit card company that it was resolved and I was given a permanent credit for the double charge on July 22nd. Then on July 24th, without my authorisation and without providing any further services, they charged me AGAIN for the move. That's fraud, plain and simple. I have reported this to the credit card company and will be reporting them to the police as well. They should never have retained my credit card number and should never have used it without my authorisation. BEWARE! read more
