In February 2026, I requested a long distance moving quote through ( www.2movers.com ) [bad idea] though they claim to be direct movers, THEY ARE NOT. They immediately shared my info with tons of companies who started blowing up my phone all day and night for days. When I spoke to them they were VERY rude and unprofessional, so I asked them to remove me from their list and to cancel my request. On April 10, 2026, I called ( New Start Moving Services at 844-472-3062 ) and said that I was calling for a quote. The man says, "Ok, is this [and calls me by my name]" I asked him how he knew my name and he said he was a contractor with Two Movers and saw my info based on the number I called from. I was immediately disgusted as I had already had a negative experience talking to Two Movers, so I asked the man to delete my info, that I was no longer interested. He got upset and said that he could not remove my info and that I'm the one that filled out the form. He makes a couple more rude remarks and then hangs up the phone. I decide to call their main number again hoping to reach someone reasonable. I reach a man that says he can remove my info. I tell him about the last agent's rudeness, and him hanging up the phone in my face. He says he'll remove my info, I say thanks and hang up. Less than five minutes after hanging up, I get a racist, repulsive text from an unknown number and then my phone starts ringing incessantly from random numbers. I block every single call because I know immediately that this is retaliation from me asking for my info to be removed. Then they start calling from "No Called ID" and "Unknown" numbers like every 2-3 mins. I start getting health insurance texts and random calls about long distance moving. In the texts, my name is spelled wrong, which means that this was NOT from the inquiry I created over a month ago, but that someone at TwoMovers or New Start Moving Services used my info to create a new inquiry against my will. read more

If you are considering using this company, please find another option before committing to anything! Even if you put in a deposit they are not letting you out of, get out because you will lose more money in the long run. This company, Two Movers, repeatedly reassured us that our estimated price for moving would stay the same as long as we met the conditions we agreed to. We even over estimated the amount of boxes we would be moving to accommodate for any misunderstanding. The moving company not only overcharged us for significantly less boxes than we had paid for, but they lost multiple of our bags and say there is nothing they can do to help us. (All this despite the fact they said they would reimburse up to $10,000 for missed items!) Two Movers seems to work with an LLC called Northern Relocation (northernrelo.com) whose rep we spoke with throughout the process, even when we thought we were talking to Two Movers. They trick the person considering a move to submit their phone number and information for the false promise of a generated quote via email, then they ask you to call instead. Then you will get a relentless barrage of spam repetitive texts and voicemail asking to call various companies. NO OPTION to unsubscribe. When option does appear, it makes no difference how many times you unsubscribe. They use disposable numbers to waste a client time with ZERO effort. Calling 2movers number on their website (that has no email or customer service information) directly results in an unprofessional, super rude rep. who doesn't even know how to greet a caller and still insists to get more information for a quote. They have received 1 out of 5 in every website and forum online. They are also a hub, like a superfluous entity points to other movers to do the job. Also your number and information can be sold so you are asking to be entered into endless solicitation, spams and voicemails. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Block numbers and mark as spam and report to BBB. This is not to mention of those who got a quote, the door has been left open for more and more fees and 0 responsibility against loss, damage or theft (unless you pay more than the value of the stuff you are moving in insurance separately). In other words, you have to pay them extra to do their job as they are suppose to for the fee they charge, which is outrageous as well. Believe it or not, using UPS or Fedex on an account that receives discount for high volume shipping for your moves (you can set that up) is cheaper and safer. Each package is automatically insured for $100 with more insurance available at affordable costs, trackable and much safer than these scam movers with deceitful practices. Then they proceeded to leave and not actually leave my neighborhood outside for a really long time to call me from about eight different fake numbers to change the price, they even tried to buy my TV. Asked for a 26 ft truck to move our 3-4 bedroom home. Even though very minimal furniture, majority would be garage. Advised I would be getting a 26 ft truck and pressured to sign contract and give deposit while on the phone in order to get a "veterans discount". Bait and switch. I was told that we could update information as we continue to pack with what would be going in the truck for DOT references only I advise them that all 26 ft would be needed. When it was getting closer to time I called to see if I can get the date moved up and if not transfer to a 26 ft U-Haul and the goose chase began. Come to find out two movers is not even a moving company they are a broker I was called by The logistics company in between and did confirm that we were receiving a 26-foot truck. That in trying to narrow down and earlier date of pickup everything changed that I was told over the phone. I was told that they are a broker they do not do you homes I had only reserved $576 ft³ of a 26 ft truck and then I could get double that for another $5,500. I told them and no way would I pay that I had reserved a 26-ft truck and they then agreed that I do have a 26 ft truck but I'm only able in pain for the $576 ft³. I was told I could update with what we were bringing for DOT purposes and that is not the case as I continue to add they continued to tally up what my class would be and we're not even going to tell me until they got to my doorstep and loaded my contacts (according to the QA). He stated that it's unknown the exact price until after everything is loaded I again advise that I had reserved a 26 ft truck and we need every cubic square foot of it. He told me there was nothing he could do and sent me to a sales manager who and then refused anything I had to say. I ended up having to rent a 20 ft U-Haul if that's all I could get with a 12 ft trailer behind the U-Haul as well as our personal truck towing are 18ft personal trailer. In total it cost me around $4800 to rent a U-Haul and the trailer to include gas and tolls. Plus I have not been able to recoup my 2035 deposit to the moving company which was actually a broker with a bathing switch. read more

I spoke with Dylan today, and asked for a quote for an upcoming move. He told me I was moving at peak time and that securing a truck might be difficult. He asked why I was moving, and told me that in his experience lately, "everyone was moving away from" the city I'm headed to. When he offered me a quote, he told me that the price was only valid if I agreed to the terms today. When I told him I wasn't ready to commit today, he offered a new quote with a lower price, and then became pushy. I told him I wasn't ready to make the decision today, and he said "no matter what you do, when you hang up the phone today you're still making a decision." I wished him a nice rest of his day, and told him I wasn't interested in being pushed into a decision I wasn't ready to make. As I was hanging up the phone, he began to say "thanks for wasting my time." Then I received a text message following up with his message in full: "thanks for wasting my time sweetheart, much appreciated." If a company and its representatives need to resort to offering unsolicited advice and bullying sales tactics in an attempt to secure a customer, perhaps customer service is not really one of their values. I have moved across the country many times, and never have I been lied to or cheated as much as I was by this company. We significantly overestimated the amount of things we had, and they still charged us an extra 1000 on top of what they had estimated. This company is definitely a scam. They used high pressure tactics to quote a low price and get a deposit. I used my credit card which made me feel better that I could get my money back but after I made a $2500 deposit I decided to cancel the next day after reading reviews. the contract I signed said I could get a full refund within 72 hours. It was very difficult to get them to cancel this, and Mr Connelly got verbally upset with me. He said all the negative reviews are from Alabama and most are customers fault. He is Palm Beach FL and said there are no negative reviews for Florida. After doing more research I couldn't even find a Florida based branch, only an Alabama based branch. Anyway he finally agreed to cancel my move and refund my deposit but then the deposit was never refunded. I emailed according to the canceling instructions on the contract and I called the company twice. Both times customer service agent, Aiden, said she would call me back to process the return but never called back. I texted Chuck Connelly multiple times but he no longer responded. So I had to go through my credit card company to get the refund processed. And as of now they have credited my account but it's still pending review. Avoid this company at all cost. read more

He wanted to confirm that my move in 4 months was a firm date and I told him no, it is approximate and I was looking for an estimate.
