Decided to try a new restaurant and was craving chicken fried steak and eggs. The family and I thought that we'd try Two Sisters. It is the day after the 4th and we were expecting it to be busy due to the holiday. We were seated quickly and served our drinks, then we waited 15 minutes for our orders to be taken. I started noticing that there was not much food coming out of the kitchen and that the place only seemed busy because they were so slow. 45 minutes after ordering, our food finally came out. My meal was not inedible, but was not good either. The gravy was bland and the chicken fried steak was not hot and crispy. The hash browns were mushy in the middle and the browned parts were so hard that I couldn't chew them. When we went to check out at the register the same waitress that served us rang us up. It is uncomfortable to have your server watch you as you write down what their tip is. Over all I was not impressed with the service or food, and will not have any desire to go back. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone that I care for. read more

Get the early bird special: egg, bacon, sausage, pancake for less than 4 dollars. Best bacon of any place I've ever been. The staff is friendly and service is quick. Also a place where a big movie was just filmed. You have to check it out. read more

I had a great breakfast there! I was dithering between the chicken fried steak and the green chili omelet so the waitress suggested the chicken fried steak skillet. Great choice! The steak was diced and on a layer of diced fried potatoes, covered in cheese and topped with a couple of eggs. Wasn't sure I could finish it all but I managed. I will be back! read more

It's like being at granny's, nothing fancy but delicious homestyle cooking in an atmosphere that make's you feel at home. I'd come here just to enjoy the salad bar because it was so fresh and had supreme toppings. "Daily Specials" come with dessert. Staff was super friendly and on their toes. read more

Awful burrito all beans. Awful chili relleno breading was an inch and thick. Way overpriced

Solid food and pleasant service. Food is on the slower side so don't come if you're in a hurry. Seems to be a preferred lunch spot of the locals. Definitely a small town mom and pop type joint. Our waitress was sweet and they all seemed to work together to get food out and keeps drinks replenished. I got the cod fillet and homemade chips which were good. My parents got bison burgers and seemed pleased. Beware that the bison takes a little longer (noticed the table that ordered right after us got their regular beef burger a bit sooner). I like that they put all the fixings on the burger plate so you can make it to your liking. Peanut butter pie slice was huge but too rich for any of us. I heard their blueberry pie is where it's at and must be true because they were all out! Oh and breakfast all day. I'm always a fan of that :) read more

Read Yelp reviews, and guess we were expecting more. Pretty average breakfast/lunch. similar to I-Hop or such chains. Though not particularly busy, service was slow. In fact, after 15 or 20 minutes, I had to ask someone to take our order (the waitresses were all together talking). Food came out timely. Interior is pretty cool, though. read more

Hubby and I stopped in for lunch. Service was good, our waitress was a sweetie. I had a cheeseburger and fries and it was delicious. Clearly hand-pattied, very fresh, toasty bun, great fries. Hubbs had the patty melt which he said was super tasty. Only drawback was the place REEKED of onions, which is my least favorite smell. But I tolerated it. An old-school restaurant in downtown Florence. Our waitress took our drink order and then promptly forgot we were even there. 15 minutes later we finally complained and got someone else to help us. Service was slow and food was not good. I ordered a teriyaki chicken sandwich. This ended up being a completely unseasoned chicken breast (tough and flavorless) on a bun that someone squirted teriyaki sauce on with a piece of canned pineapple. Me and my fellow employee's work near Two Sisters and we use to order lunch from there once or twice a week until last Wednesday. One guy order a salad and it came with 3 hairs in it. The guy next to me ordered the Smasher and it came with two hairs in it. The food is usually pretty good but that much hair in the food is uncalled for. read more

Uh, ordered the salmon plate...unfortunately it was really overcooked. I also had the Cole slaw as a side and unfortunately disappointed by that as well - it was too runny for my taste. I would actually give it 3.5 not 3. Again Yelp, c'mon and let us give half stars. Ok, so this is tad late on my review, but I had work to take care of. That's my excuse. I came here on a weekday and it wasn't all that busy considering almost all the front spots were taken, not a huge deal. At first I felt out of place considering you open the door and just stand there looking dumb. The only waitress was on the phone and filling drinks, but she was near the door and how can you not hear a cowbell go off? Everyone knows a cowbell when they hear one, ok so maybe not all, but majority. And besides, this is Florence, with cows. Imagine that. Alright alright. She tells to me have a seat anywhere, cool, empty place I can handle. Now to the review. Pros: She brought a menu which is fairly standard, wasn't expecting anything outlandish or fancy. It does give you a granny feeling, cozy with mismatched chairs and tables. A put together granny feeling. I ordered the breakfast burrito, small and large. Didn't know burrito's came in different sizes. The waitress was friendly enough. The burrito came with green chili and cheese on top with sausage, egg, and hashbrown inside. Loved the burrito, but the large wasn't anything special. It was the size of the 12 inch tortillas you see in the store. Now large I was expecting maybe a 13-15 inch tortilla. So a small is a corn tortilla size? Ha, I can picture that. The hashbrowns I could have ordered an extra plate of those, crispy but not burnt. Absolutely fell in love with them. And the sausage was actually really good and not the patty type I would have put into my burrito. Well done with kudos on the burrito. Cons: The green chili looked more like store bought salsa that went through the processor one too many times. Two tiny pieces of pork with no flavor. Somewhat bland, but enough to taste what it was supposed to be. And the cheese could have been melted a bit more on top. The burrito, though great, I wish had a couple more ingredients. Onion and something else and it would be a top seller for me. Recommended? Sure, for breakfast. Haven't been for lunch or dinner, but decent enough for a nice breakfast. read more

We ate there at the recommendation of our hotel manager who told us to expect a hometown restaurant with large portions, and that's exactly what it was. All 4 of us were happy with our meals, and the salad bar for a side salad option was a nice touch. They allow you to order from their breakfast or lunch menu for dinner, so there was a surprisingly big selection. Don't expect anything fancy, but expect a large portion of good hometown food. read more

In town for work and stopped by for lunch. Got the smasher (quarter pound burger) and fries, and my Co-worker ordered the reuben with onion rings... Both were good and what you would expect at a hometown cafe. The service was normal (or even a bit quicker) than a typical sit down restaurant. The refills on drinks arrived before you could see the bottom of the jar. read more

The service is not very prompt or attentive, when you walk in you have no clue what to do and it takes a while for anyone to come and sit you.
