    Lavender latte
    Kinga B.

It's a cute place with nice service . I only ordered lavender latte that tasted like a good latte but I couldn't really taste any lavender. It was just ok. I didn't try any pastries or sandwiches so I can't really comment on that . As far as pastries, nothing really got my attention. I would give this place another try though.

    My Receipt.

We were excited to check out Cafe Leo before we left Woodland Park in May 2026. This was my second visit overall and about five or six times for my daughter who lived in Woodland Park for over two years. I ordered a vegan BLT without bacon and she ordered a Colorado sandwich with sliced 7 grain bread instead of a Bagel and a Matcha Tea. The food and tea were tasty. After we returned home, I took another look at the receipt. Hidden charges were very apparent. This needs to be posted on the menu as well to inform customers! For example, Colorado sandwich with 7 Grain Bread. Additional $1.60! Vegan BLT with Cheddar Cheese no Bacon Add $.60! Matcha Tea with Oat Milk $1.15 plus adding Lite Ice $.30! I truly would like to be informed of these "hidden charges" before I order. This was a grand total of $3.65! Check out the $2.96 in local fees and taxes, too! Plus, I gave a tip! ouch! I'm not sure we will return, but hope others will learn from our mistake! Thank you for sharing! Three Stars for food out of five and Service needs to be improved, too!

    Triple berry sweet bun

One of the best pastry I had since I moved to Colorado in 2023. I am just not into too much sweet but I wanted to try this Norwegian sweet buns! In addition to its aesthetics, the texture and subtle sweetness of these buns were perfect. We stopped by on the way to Breckenridge and even after snow the next day, we still came down instead of taking I70 east bound just to have another box of these amazing buns. My husband got mad at me first time for me that I " accidentally"ate the 3/4 of each bun from our first box at Breck haha. I love the triple berry and pistachio. Cafe Leo won my heart with great hospitality of staffs but it has awaken my sweet tooth for the right reason. Will be back there soon as well as my friends and families after hearing some praises from me. Thank you for your existence!

    Cheese bagel with cream cheese

Went camping in Lake George and on our drive back we saw Cafe Leo. So happy we stopped! Cute cafe with friendly staff, good coffee, and delicious pastries. I ordered a cheese bagel with cream cheese and a vanilla iced latte. My husband ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a sesame bagel. Their pastries looked too good to pass up so we ordered one Nutella and one matcha lavender tart. Everything was delicious! Recommend stopping by!

Cafe Leo is very special. It's hard to find a place where EVERYTHING is made fresh, in house. The gals working there were so sweet and helpful. I truly can't wait to go back again tomorrow.

Great little coffee shop - just passing through and wanted a coffee to go. Nice selection of drinks and pastries right on the main road. Very pleasant, friendly, clean.

Homemade tarts! So many wonderful flavors and a ton of gluten free options also.

Loved the sweet girls behind the counter! Wonderful customer service, very detailed care for our large order. Thank you! We came for bagel sandwiches and ended up getting a bunch of these homemade tarts that we didn't even know they had! Can't wait to come back!

Good service and ambiance. I had a lox bagel sandwich and a chai. The latte was a tad sweet and the bagel sandwich was a bit on the salty side but both were good and I loved the cream cheese. The music in the background was contemporary songs in an orchestral fashion. Place was clean, comfortable and spacious. I noticed mostly women work here. Overall good experience

This might be one of the best coffee shops I've tried in the state since we've moved here! The staff were so incredibly friendly and personable. I loved that they offered a seasonal/holiday menu. The valentine menu was so cute and the 'date night' latte was so tasty. The homemade pop tarts are delish. Even though I'm not a huge mint person, the mint chocolate almond pop tart was to die for. I can not wait to stop by next time we are in this area to try more of the food offerings! They have a small parking lot and outdoor seating which is two pluses!

Fast friendly service. Milk alternatives available. Outdoor seating but there's no shade/awnings. Three or four tables inside. Homemade pastries and breakfast items (we did not try these though). We tried: iced almond milk latte with house made salted caramel flavor and a milk latte half vanilla half pistachio flavor (these flavors are not house made).

Loved this place. Excellent hand crafted coffees and breakfast items. Service was slower, but that's to be expected with how busy it was. Seems like a local spot, warm, friendly, and relaxing.

Can I just say this is probably my new favorite coffee shop? Wow! I was going through Woodland park…read moreto get to Cripple Creek and decided to stop for a coffee. Java Haus looked cute so you know, I figured I'd stop by. Umm... yes please! If you are driving through Woodland Park, I insist. Go. I got the white chai which is chai and a shot of white espresso. I also added a shot of vanilla. It was so good. I'm really bad at finishing my drinks so the fact that I finished a 16 ounce drink is highly impressive. It was a little spicy, a little sweet, and the white espresso was really lovely and not too strong. Also our barista was so wonderful. She was talkative and attentive! It was kinda quiet in the cafe (which is so perfect for a coffee date or even studying!) so I think she wanted to talk. Totally fine with us. She was great and made an even better drink! I cannot wait to come back on my day off to read a book, enjoy a drink, and next time, get a pastry.

We had just driven from Denver and had about an hour to kill before our Air BnB was going to be…read moreready for us - enter some coffee to re-energize us after our little drive. We found Java Haus, secured parking, and walked inside. Much to our enjoyment it was a really family friendly coffee shop, folks were sweet to our kids, and when I used their restroom I was surprised and somewhat impressed at their set up for nursing mothers - very accomodating. Now to the coffee - my husband and I both got their pistachio latte and our five year old enjoyed a cookie. I don't know if it was because it was a chilly spring day and I'd already been drinking exclusively iced coffee for some time, but that hot pistachio latte really hit in a way I wasn't expecting. SO good. The cookie was great as well and our five year old ate about half of it (it was huge) and my husband and I finished it up. The coffee shop had some Christian undertones and despite me not being very religious I didn't find it to be overbearing or unwelcoming to folks that aren't crazy religious. It really felt like a welcoming space. If I lived in Winter Park (and honestly I kind of wish I do!) I'd for sure be back and just enjoy the laid back ambiance here and read a book.
