The service was very friendly and the location was packed. We waited patiently, and by the time we got to order, they had run out of the bagels we wanted, as well as the sweet treat. Which was okay they still had a great lookong selection to choose from. Apart from that mishap, everything fell short in flavor. The vanilla latte wasn't anything spectacular and was overpriced. As for the bagel and tart, the feeling was the same. There was no out-of-the-ordinary flavor, or "this is great" moment. I wonder if they made their cream cheese, it would have elevated the bagel sandwich. As for the tart, the only Biscoff flavoring was the cookie on top. The lavender latte my mom got didn't really taste like lavender but it was a good latte. They have a good variety of pastries and bagel sandwiches but they didn't really grab my eye. Inside you can tell they're going with the modern slick trendy look and it's pretty nice. Just wish their pastries had a little more time in the oven. Super nice people working here tho! We were excited to check out Cafe Leo before we left Woodland Park in May 2026. This was my second visit overall and about five or six times for my daughter who lived in Woodland Park for over two years. I ordered a vegan BLT without bacon and she ordered a Colorado sandwich with sliced 7 grain bread instead of a Bagel and a Matcha Tea. The food and tea were tasty. After we returned home, I took another look at the receipt. Hidden charges were very apparent. This needs to be posted on the menu as well to inform customers! For example, Colorado sandwich with 7 Grain Bread. Additional $1.60! Vegan BLT with Cheddar Cheese no Bacon Add $.60! Matcha Tea with Oat Milk $1.15 plus adding Lite Ice $.30! I truly would like to be informed of these "hidden charges" before I order. This was a grand total of $3.65! Check out the $2.96 in local fees and taxes, too! Plus, I gave a tip! ouch! One of the best pastry I had since I moved to Colorado in 2023. I am just not into too much sweet but I wanted to try this Norwegian sweet buns! In addition to its aesthetics, the texture and subtle sweetness of these buns were perfect. We stopped by on the way to Breckenridge and even after snow the next day, we still came down instead of taking I70 east bound just to have another box of these amazing buns. My husband got mad at me first time for me that I " accidentally"ate the 3/4 of each bun from our first box at Breck haha. I love the triple berry and pistachio. Cafe Leo won my heart with great hospitality of staffs but it has awaken my sweet tooth for the right reason. Went camping in Lake George and on our drive back we saw Cafe Leo. So happy we stopped! Cute cafe with friendly staff, good coffee, and delicious pastries. I ordered a cheese bagel with cream cheese and a vanilla iced latte. My husband ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a sesame bagel. This might be one of the best coffee shops I've tried in the state since we've moved here! The staff were so incredibly friendly and personable. I loved that they offered a seasonal/holiday menu. The valentine menu was so cute and the 'date night' latte was so tasty. The homemade pop tarts are delish. Even though I'm not a huge mint person, the mint chocolate almond pop tart was to die for. We were looking for a place to get hot drinks and some dinner on our way home from ice climbing. The location is cute and charming, it is also not very big. The staff was friendly and patient with our larger group who took awhile to decide what to order. Unfortunately they were out of a lot of the items we were looking to have and no one was able to eat anything because everything we wanted food-wise was out.... Not sure if that is normal or just luck of the draw. Anyhow we all enjoyed our hot drinks. If we are ever in the area again, we would go back.
