Traveling with friends and someone recommended stopping at Red's Eats for a late lunch on the way…read moreto Bar Harbor, ME. Fantastic decision! Be aware, even though we were there on a Thursday and well past the normal lunch hour, the parking was still tough to find and the line was very long. In the end, it took more than an hour to get to the window to order. Once we ordered we sat on one of their deck areas and the food was delivered to us within 10 minutes. That being said it was absolutely worth the experience and wait. We got to chat with one of the owners. Very nice conversation. The lobster rolls and the plated lobster were generous in portions and tasted fantastic! The homemade tartar and cocktail sauces are great. The atmosphere added a lot to the fun as the line to order stayed constant. Definitely worth the visit.

Lobster was overpriced and had a texture like it had been frozen for months. It was way too cold and a bit icy, like they didn't even bother to thaw it before selling it. Carelessly piled on top of a piece of bread for no other reason other than to claim they "pile it high." Like, it's supposed to be a sandwich, not a pile of lobster on bread. The entire thing was tasteless while still managing to taste a bit off. Cash only. Great way to need to use an ATM on your trip because you'll run through it all here for nothing in exchange but a wasted two hours in line. It's a small food truck located on the hill near the parking lot at the park. Parkings are available at the park itself. They offer few options for lobster rolls as well as other sandwiches like pulled pork and drinks as well as whoopie pie. We got 6oz maine style and wasabi mayo lobster rolls and blueberry soda and a whoopie pie. Lobster rolls were overflowing with lobster meat and paired with nicely buttered and toasted buns. They were both delicious but i actually liked the wasabi mayo version better personally.Blueberry soda was refreshing which is a brand i've had before from Maine that i like. Whoopie pie was pretty good even though i've never been that into them whenever i had them which is few. Service good and very quick. Our order came out within like 3 minutes. Overall the place was pretty good especially for touristic area like the Fort Williams park. It's be one of better lobster rolls we had in Maine. Price was pretty average for lobster rolls. Great place to stop by if you are in the portland head light/Fort Williams Park.
