We hosted a welcome drinks event at Rising Tide Brewery and had O' Oysters come to make our beer-and-pizza event a bit more festive. From the time I first contacted him through the day-of communications, Lucas kept me up to date on everything I needed to know and worked with me to make sure that we had a good variety of the best oysters available. He was more than willing to go out of his way to source out-of-state oysters from the Narragansett Bay area and from PEI, but also let us know about the best local Damariscotta river options. At the actual event, Bob, the most efficient and clean oyster shucker I have ever seen set up the oyster cart early and was ready to go by the time guests started to arrive. The oysters themselves were some of the best and definitely some of the freshest oysters I have ever enjoyed anywhere. Though the oysters definitely did not require any additional flavors, the accoutrements O' Oysters brought were perfectly balanced and complimented the oysters exceptionally well without masking the oyster flavors. I particularly loved the subtle Jalapeno mignonette sauce. I cannot say enough good things about Lucas, Bob and O' Oysters. Nice, professional guys that know their oysters and deliver great value with excellent service.

Cold, fresh, and shucked to order, he will open as many as you care to eat. Always includes homemade accoutrements, including three or four different mignonettes, lemon juice and cocktail sauce. I was lucky enough to be able to try one of George's sandwiches as part of a recent yelp elite…read moreevent and they were so good that I brought my husband back two days later so that he could try it as well. I cannot get over how delicious and rare and perfectly cooked the roast beef is and yes still soft enough that you can bite through the whole sandwich and you're not tearing at me And ending up with a mess all over your face. However with all of the saucy goodness this is a sandwich that requires many napkins and probably hand wash immediately after, I would recommend eating it right away versus trying to save this one for later. The first sandwich I got was their standard three-way, and the second time I went I added the horseradish. Both were delicious and I think what sends these over the top is the onion bun. So so good

So let me start this off by saying, I am not typically a fan of roast beef. I find its texture…read moreunappealing, and the rareness of it has always made me a little.... meh on it. But, never one to shy away from trying new food, I threw my hat in the ring, and ended up here on a sunny Saturday morning. And oh my sweet baby Jesus am I glad I did. The sandwich, a super with pickles and horseradish (murdered of course, how could I not?) was divine. The child in me loved the messiness of it, the adult in me loved the complexity of it. And the roast beef hater in me sat the f**k down in the back, and began to question the foundation of his existence. This was one the BEST SANDWICHES I have EVER had. The roll, heavily buttered and crisped to perfection truly helped make this sandwich perfect. They could have given me just the roll and I would have reviewed 5*. But the beef was tender, juicy, and delicious, and paired with the sauce, extra of course, I couldn't wait for the next bite each time I swallowed. The pickles and the horseradish simply added to the sandwich, but I am 100% sure it would have been equally magical without them. I sat there on my picnic table bench and wondered if I truly didn't like roast beef, or if I had just never had good roast beef. And this place, is amazing roast beef. For a roast beef sandwich to blow my mind, you know it HAS to be good (Perfect more like). I also tried the fries, and they are both 35 year old man, and 4 year old girl approved! The prices are amazing for what you receive. And the portions are huge. The people working in the truck truly seem passionate about what they are doing, and they are so kind. We will definitely be back. I can't wait honestly! (Also, sorry to the owner! I promised to write this last night after apple picking, but I totally got distracted decorating for halloween!)

I think the wine selections are also great prices without having a happy hour price tag so i went for a nice white to pair with my rolls. It was hard deciding which maki rolls to get, everything sounded amazing and the servers were great with answering any questions. I ended up going with the halibut, salmon teriyaki, and tuna mango. i wanted to try a variety and i think the prices are great for the quality and fun options you can get. The rolls are a great size so one person can definitely eat 3 of the regular size maki's like i did. I really like the bar seating so i could watch the magic happen while i relaxed and ate my rolls. I'm usually not a soy sauce person but there's is phenomenal and i'm not sure how they are doing that! It was cool to see Mr Tuna (the chef who started this place) behind the bar at noontime working! I always think that goes to show how passionate this place is with great leadership. Everything was so fresh and tasty. To end the server told me about the special toastie they had and i knew i had to try it. This was sourdough ice cream with a maple pecan crumble and wow!!!!!! I can't believe i almost skipped dessert here because that would have been a huge regret. It was so good with the crunchy sweet hawaiian roll and then the cold ice cream inside. I definitely recommend getting whatever special they have that day since it seems to be a fun spin on there original toasty. I actually can't wait to come back and try some other rolls, as it seems like they are always keeping up with what's fresh and what the chef wants to be creative with!

I really toiled with this review. I wanted to be big in Mr. Tuna going into the experience - a lot…read moreof folks that I know are really into it. I enjoy the handrolls from their food truck! We rolled in and got a seat right away, which was awesome. The staff were friendly and helpful! As for the food - I'll start with the food stuff. The Tuna de Tigre was REALLY good!! And the ice cream toastie, which had been highly recommended, was very good and unique! As for the disappointing - my main complaint was with the sushi rolls... I was bothered that the sushi was essentially standard roll, one that I can get at other sushi restaurants, with a squirt of a sauce for an extra like 5 or 6 dollars. I always very disappointed with the tuna nachos. They sounded and looked appealing but lacked anything that really made me want to order them again. All in all, I liked it - but it left something to be desired in my opinion. I think going forward, Mr. Tuna will be reserved for Tuna de Tigre and Ice Cream Toasties (and the Handrolls form their food trucks at concerts and festivals)!
