The baked goods and their pizza are first rate. Everything tends towards the high calorie, high fat end, but you are on vacation so why not splurge. The service is pleasant and professional. Seating is quite limited, so it's best to plan for takeout. My one complaint is the limited schedule--they only open Thursday thru Sunday and only make pizza on weekend evenings--and the fact that they are so popular they run out of product early. What a wonderful little gem! I don't normally eat bear claws because they're heavy and greasy. But the bf got one and I took a bite. OMG...it was light and airy...sooooo freakin' yummy. The only thing that would clinch this spot over Trinks would be free wi-fi. An easy upgrade to encourage folks to choose them over Trinks. They offer up delicious freshly baked goods daily. Be sure to get their early, as the other review states, because they do run out quickly. Their bread is amazing, especially their baguette . It is crisp, chewy, and extremely flavourful - it's one of the best that I've ever had. As for drinks, their espressos are pretty good. Their sandwiches are pretty tasty as well, but they run out very quickly. Two Fish has quickly become a Sea Ranch institution in the few short years that it has been operating. We have always enjoyed the fine quality of the bakery goods. Recently we enjoyed their pizza. It is all about quality, and Two Fish has always delivered for us. Newcomers should be aware of the popularity of this establishment and their loyal clientel. This sometimes translates into occasional long lines and running out of favorite items. Oh my gosh, the quiche was to die for!! Fluffy, custardy, creamy, and so decadent, it was pretty sinful. So yes, the lines are long, and you better get in one because otherwise you won't get to enjoy their breakfast delights, but oh so worth it! Twofish is great for (at least) 2 reasons: 1) the service is incredibly friendly; and 2) the food is very tasty! I love the white calzone!

I'm surprised by the reviews speaking of unfriendly staff. We're not locals, and they're always nice to us! We visit Twofish every time we're in Sea Ranch (half a dozen times a year) and it's definitely a ritual. Sticky buns and morning buns and two americanos! They're always helpful and polite. Last time we switched it up and got a breakfast calzone--and hold the freakin' rotary phone. It was good. Can't wait to stop by on our next visit! read more

I was told to stop here and get a sandwich or Calzone on my way home from a job site in sea ranch by a customer who HIGHLY recommend this food. I called and ordered a turkey sandwich, she told me they have a turkey sandwich and explained what is on it. I asked her to put a slice of cheddar cheese and some pickle slices on my sandwich. When I arrived to pick up my food I received a sandwich ONLY. I did not order anything else (drink or chips... anything) the cashier told me my sandwich costs $14.85!!!! Astonished I paid her and walked out. the sandwich was mediocre at best with all the meat folded over so much that it did not cover the bread and the lettuce piled so high I could not fit it in my mouth. I had to take apart the sandwich on my lap in the work truck and rebuild it before eating? my most serious negative opinion is the cost of a sandwich at this place. absolutely NOT worth it? I dont know how to make ANY sandwich worth 15 bucks? read more

Many years ago, the historic building was a quaint, historic convenient store with large abalone shells hanging from the rafters. Inland of Highway 1, off Annapolis Road, this small bakery offers coffee and pastries as well as several delicious artisan breads. The space is unpretentious, and their breads are wonderful. I also brought home a raspberry jam pastry that was great, with a buttery crust, and actually a little too rich. Probably a cup of their great coffee would have balanced that. The staff are helpful and glad to talk about their baking process. If you are on your way to Gualala or Mendocino, this is a delightful place to stop for coffee and a snack. read more
