Perfect stop before a 4 night stay in a sea ranch home for supplies and sweets. Highest quality and plenty of choices . Love a fine coffee bar

Okay y'all, in all seriousness, this is truly the best bakery I have ever been to in the entirety of my time on Earth. Straight up phenomenal, yo. Specifically, I would recommend the sticky buns and sourdough. I have literally never had better sourdough bread in my entire life. Also, this place was started by and is completely run by women, which is super cool. It has any necessities you may need on your trip as well, because it doubles as a lil bit of a convenience store. But a super cute, quaint, and well run one. The people working there are so nice, and the saltwater taffy is to DIE for. And the store itself is adorable. I would recommend ordering ahead if you are planning on going later in the day, though, because they do run out. But really, going, even if it's out of your way, would not be a mistake. It's worth it. I promise. And remember, THE SOURDOUGH. Truly something out of this world. Sorry for the long review, but Bobby Yoe is very passionate about this place. He really does love it. Words can't all the way explain it, but this place just feels like magic. Something out of a storybook. 10/10. Totes adorbs. Bobby Yoe OUT. P.S. Bobby Yoe hasn't been to Twofish for a while, and last time he went it was before his dope Yelp journey started. Because of this, he had no pics in his phone from it, but he still wanted to include some. These pics are from the internet.

I just got home from a July mid-week camping trip at Salt Point's Woodside Campground, and have to immediately extol the virtues of Twofish. Snuggled in the back of Stewarts Point Store is a fully-operational bakery, turning out gorgeous pastries and loaves of bread every morning. And we made the 10 minute drive north every morning of our trip to get our day going with fresh coffee and Sticky Bun brilliance. Mocha Latte (16 oz): $5.75 Latte (16 oz): $5.45 Sticky Bun: $5.25 We hung out on the wooden benches out front, communing with the little black birds hoping to catch a crumb from the throng of visitors. The rest of our coffee was enjoyed back at camp or in front of the crashing waves at Salt Point's Gerstle Campground. The service is friendly and localized - they knew the regulars from the tourists, and were kind to everyone. This is the kind of place you fantasize about owning one day while tripping out on caramel-coated walnuts and a smoky espresso. Delicious, inspiring and beautiful. A must before any hike, paddle or windy stroll along the coast.

We stopped in recently while passing through on a road trip down the coast. Everyone was so nice and friendly, and the sandwiches were delicious! We also had a slice of blueberry coffee cake and a cookie. A great little spot to stop for a break if you are driving the coast highway.

LOVE Twofish Baking! Twofish Baking is a women- owned and operated bakery located inside the Stewarts Point Store off Highway 1- in Sonoma County. My family makes it a point to visit several times while staying in The Sea Ranch which is about a 15 minute drive. Be warned that you must get to Twofish early or the much coveted Sticky Buns will be sold out! These beautiful sticky, buttery, caramel-y, nutty delights are worth every bite. All pastries are made fresh daily. There are also breakfast burritos, quiche, and house-made biscuits as well as a Coffee bar. They also serve an array of sandwiches, soups, breads, calzones and have Pizza Fridays. Check their website/Yelp for all their different menu items-- everything pretty much made from scratch. The store is always busy and a ritual stop, I think, for anyone that visits the area. The space has an old time-y cozy feel to it and one that you'll want to visit again and again. They are closed Monday and Tuesday and open Sat/Sun- Wed/Thurs 7:30-3:30 and Friday 7:30-4:00 PM. Worth the visit if you're ever in the area!!

We are building a home nearby Two Fish Baking / Stewart's Point in Sea Ranch so we drive through and stay nearby increasingly more often and this place is one of our GO TO JOINTS. The breakfast burritos are a must get (try it with chorizo) and the other day we got a pork belly burrito lunch special with a delicious rice. Baked goods and Sammie's are also excellent and clearly prepared with care and skill. We haven't had a chance to take advantage of their local pizza nights or other special local events - but we have plans to check those out soon ! This place is excellent and it seems like it is a true reflection of their co-owners and how they appear focused on their customers and the community. Well done TWO FISH. Appreciate you !

This is the perfect stop if you're on the twists and turns of Hwy 1. Not only is there a very sweet bakery, but it exists inside a little store that has everything you might need. A latte for the morning, ice for your cooler, a local steak for the grill, a candle for a souvenir, a beer for later, I mean you name it they got it. The best thing I think I got was a fresh made baguette. It was perfectly warm still and they did sell butter, but I actually drove a little further down to this cheese shop and was really glad I had that baguette. I think it saw a gas pump there too, but it looked Hella old so not sure if it was functional. 10/10 must stop.

So delicious! Long lines though, but they have it down to a science so once you order your coffee is ready right away. Cute country store ambiance and picnic tables outside.

Breakfast, Coffee, and a general store/gift shop open at 7:30 in the morning and located in the historic Stewart Point Store. It was only 10 minutes away from where we were staying and one of the few places open so early. Breakfast Burritos: Bacon and Avocado and one with just ham. They were seasoned in a way that I've never had them before, richer and more savory without being overpowering. Wonderful proportions of fillings and will fill you up, we ate half over two days and it was a great way to get some morning energy. Loved these and would repeat. Pastries: Morning Bun, Quiche, and biscuit. All wonderfully baked, a lot of prep and perfection went into getting three different pastries just right. In the morning the Quiche was super fresh and still steaming when we got it. The SF Soma location closed so the original location is the only place to try them now!

You will find that amazing vibe in this area and Lightwave Coffee exemplifies a movement that was so much about optimism and love. Interior and exterior are amazing with much of the decoration being made from found objects. I loved all the old electronic and mechanical devices inside and loved the mishmash cups and plates that made it feel like you were eating in a friends kitchen. The food and coffee we got were abnormally high quality and we recommend the cookies and the basil ice lemonade. So good after a long day outdoors. Right next to it is a community farm that felt so welcoming and chill. Volunteers were weeding and cleaning on the weekend and it reminded me the very best of the game Stardew Valley. Well, my concerns went out the door upon having an evening drink at the bar and then dinner. It was so good that I decided we should come for dinner the following night as well. It is good to make a reservation. The restaurant is rustic, "woodsy" and very casually comfortable. The wait staff is awesome. They are friendly, professional and very attentive. Both nights was a delight, and we enjoyed chatting and getting to know them. The first night I had the Pt Reyes oysters. They were fantastic. Firm, succulent and delicious; bathed in a light mignonette and tarragon. Perfect! For my main course I had the Summer Vegetable Pasta. It was equally delicious. The pasta was fresh, al dente and bite size. All of the accompaniments, including artichoke pieces, were spot on and blended perfectly for an excellent meal. I was quite satisfied. The next evening I started with the Smoked Rock Cod Rillettes which came on two crostini and made similar to a tuna fish spread. Quite tasty this local fish was a great way to start the meal. After I chose to have the Pork Tenderloin. It was so tasty, moist and delicious. I had it medium rare and that was just right for me. The sauce with it was a great addition, plus the pickled apple, greens and bacon. YUM! Both truly delicious, enjoyable meals. Having a glass of wine for both dinners was just right and they have a nice selection. As for the bar the mixologist bartender was right on his game. I had a Manhattan on the rocks. It was so smooth and just the right mix. Ed had a Bourbon Sour and was quite content. I would gladly eat here again. It is a bit pricey but the value was definitely there.

Now that we're on the Sonoma coast quite often I wasn't quite ready for a sit down, so I decided to take the chowder to go. According to the hostess, the bar staff would take my to go order. So I probably sat at the bar for I want to think about five minutes before I was even acknowledged that's very disappointing. it really gives you a dismissive feeling when other guests are being intended. I'm not talking about a large group 4 down to two people, and I honestly felt ignored. Any way I waited patiently and was finally asked if I could be helped so I said yeah I wanna place it to go order. I'm kind of driving down the road and I just wanna take it to go. That was no problem. I wandered around the property, which is really lovely while I waited for my chowder. My receipt came to approximately $37 for my to go order of only two servings of chowder. I served it that evening, along with a salad and some filet mignon in the comfort of our own accommodations. While the flavor was whatever I remembered, it was a great flavor. It's rich and it's definitely comfort food. However, the potatoes were all raw basically uncooked not at all what I would expect for a seafood chowder. While the potatoes should be not mushy, these were just nearly raw. After the anticipation of looking forward to enjoying and sharing this dish, I feel pretty disappointed. So I can cross this one off my foodie bucket list. Been there done that was just OK. #coastkitchen
