I use this computer for my business and all of my files and documents I use to manage this business are now locked out to me on this computer that would not boot. I am not a big business supporter. So Geek Squad and their lack of customer service was a BIG NO! I like to support small local business's. I had never needed computer help before. I found Chris from a quick search on Maps and Yelp. I called Chris and he was very quick to offer solutions and ideas to solve my problem. I dropped off the computer and left it to him to resolve while I was out of town. Chris was very quick, very responsive and was communicating options quickly. Essentially, within 36 hrs of dropping off my laptop, he had installed new hardware, software that he recommended and I approved. He stayed within my budget and his original quote. He provided me with a lightening fast upgraded computer, with all of my files and programs, turn key, ready to work on. I cannot believe the computer is the same I dropped off. If you are curious if you should call Chris for help with your computer needs/repairs, just make the call and let him work his magic. I am completely satisfied with the service and product. He is honest, quick, knowledgeable and has earned any repeat business I may ever need in the future. I am so glad I called and made the decision to use his business. 11 stars from me. Yeah I can find things online, but I'm old school, I need to see it in person and walk out with it. I don't trust half the delivery options out there either, especially when it comes to expensive items. I searched online and this specific watch was only available either in Gunspoint...I mean Greenspoint, or this location. Both are a drive from the Med Center, but this location was my best choice. I arrived and the lot was pretty empty. Inside, I got excellent customer service as soon as I walked in as no one was busy. I told them what I was looking for and within minutes, they already pulled the item out of their locked areas and delivered it to the cashier. There were a few people ahead of me and the line did move extremely slow at that point. I do wish someone would have assisted the young man checking people out. Extended warranties were offered as usual but I declined. I didn't feel pressured to buy any of the add ons. I liked that a gift receipt was also available upon request. Overall, this location is way out of the way from my home or work, but I loved how chill and not too busy this spot was.

As I explained that I was looking for a case the gentleman then asked if I was looking for a specific case I explained to him I was looking for the life proof case for the iPhone 7, he did not just point me in the right direction, he walked me over to the product, went over key details and benefits and even went as far as to troubleshoot me through issues I might run into using my nightstand for he iphone. While I understand this is not something that can be done every single time in a busy setting, we were close to closing time and for the employees to show initiative while they aren't busy shows a lot. I've shopped here in the past and have received good customer service but this last visit was just over the top so I needed to make sure it was noted. The gentleman even commented on my pocket knife and began to personalize the visit, not sure if he was management but if not it certainly represents management that his employees follow suit just as a manager would.

BB replaced 4 pts at the end of my extended warranty in 1/2026, (front & rear bearings, dryer drum and heating element) instead of replacing the dryer after escalating the issue multiple times. The geek squad did the work and the problem is worse than it was prior to the two party team touching my dryer. I have sent multiple videos to the alleged supervisor, Patrick as proof of the problem and he never responded after his visit on 2/5/26. After numerous phone calls, the escalation dept scheduled two follow-up appoints, 2/21& 2/22, both were cancelled via text with no explanation. I was told that the work came with a 90 day warranty and BB is refusing to honor the warranty. DO NOT BUY LARGE APPLIANCES FROM BEST BUY. If you're so inclined after reading multiple negative reviews, DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM BEST BUY. purchase it when you get the offer in the mail from the manufacturer. ALWAYS DEMAND THIRD PARTY REPAIR. BEST BUY outsources CS, I have spoken to 2 reps in Guatemala, 3 reps in Panama City, Panama, 2 in Central America, a number of others that I never asked for their location, escalation reps allegedly in MN, Florida, and Chicago all suggesting they will forward my concerns about the inexperienced geek sq techs, asking for third party techs or a replacement to No Avail. The dryer has been priced at approximately $630; after sending out 4 techs and replacing four parts, it probably would've cost less to replace the dryer. Best Buy is refusing to uphold the 90 day warranty they promised. I would not recommend BB to anyone.
