After doing research, I booked LV Hair and Makeup about 2.5 weeks prior to the wedding. I sent in an inquiry through their website. I received an email back from Laura. She is the main point of contact when it came to the pricing, booking, and confirming. Their website is detailed with prices and packages. I booked an Elite Hair & Makeup package for the three of us. It cost $219 per person. Upgrades are an additional cost (ex: airbrush makeup $35, eyelashes $10, rhinestones $10, hair extensions $10, updos $10, Hollywood waves $10). Since they're mobile, they charge a travel fee of $20 for each artist. A deposit is required before you get a confirmation. Deposits are non-refundable. They take payments through PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. The remaining balance will be paid after the services. Although Laura had many grammatical errors and may seem all over the place, she was very responsive. She sent me a detailed breakdown of each charge. After sending her a deposit, she sent me a confirmation of my appointment date, time, and location. The day before the services, the hair and makeup artists contacted me for reference photos to get an idea of what we wanted. I sent them a few images I found online. Karina and Liss arrived on time on the day of the appointment. They came extremely prepared with their own lighting and products. Both artists were gentle and patient. Karina did an amazing job with our makeup. I asked for a full glam for my mother and I. I wanted a warm eyeshadow, cut crease, gold shimmer, contour, and baking. Took it back to the 2018 makeup era. I asked for the same makeup style for my mother, but she wanted her outer and inner corners smoked out with a shimmer in the middle. My sister went for a soft glam and a smokey eyeshadow look. We absolutely loved our makeup and appreciated how well it stayed on for 12+ hours! Liss did a beautiful job with our hair. I sent her images of the hairstyles my mother and sister wanted, and she did exactly that. My sister wanted curls and a braid around her crown. My mother wanted her hair curled and half of it pinned in the back. I was the only one that did not have a reference photo, simply because I couldn't find what I wanted. I explained with as much detail as possible about the hairstyle I wanted. I wanted braids on the side of my head, majority of my hair slicked to one side, volume on the top, and curls. Even without a reference photo, Liss was able to bring my vision to life! She used a lot of hairspray, so our curls stuck throughout the night. Her technique and product choices did not reflect any real familiarity with deeper skin tones, I even gave her my own foundation but that didn't help and we were ultimately left to do our own makeup. What concerns me most is not the skill gap itself, every artist has limitations, but the lack of honesty when asked directly. Misrepresenting your experience to a client is a serious breach of trust, particularly in the beauty industry where your work is tied to someone's most meaningful moments. I also noticed that other makeup artists present did not appear to recognize Bonnie as part of the local Vegas makeup community, which raised further red flags. We were fortunate to be members of the bridal party and not the bride herself otherwise she could have really ruined someone's special day. Bonnie please be transparent about your experience level with diverse skin tones. Honesty and transparency should be the foundation of any client relationship.

I had booked this company to do mine and my bridesmaid's wedding hair and make up, about a year in advance and had kept in touch with them regularly when we arrived in Vegas. On the day of the wedding, our make up was booked at 12 midday, by half past nobody had showed up and I hadn't received any messages or calls to tell me what was happening. Our limo was booked at 3pm. Cue hours of frantic messages/phone calls from me and my husband to try and find out what was happening. Very slow and vague responses to messages and a very rude and abrupt lady on the phone. My husband was running around the casino floor as the lady on the phone said the make up artist was there, when she clearly wasn't. We had no idea what was happening or if anyone was showing up! By this point it was 1:45pm and I was in tears, my bridesmaid had to go and do her own hair and make up as there wouldn't be time for us both. I had not planned to do my own hair and make up, so didn't have any of the right equipment with me and now didn't have enough time to do it myself, I was inconsolable. Just as we were getting ready to run to Sephora, one make up artist turned up at the hotel room and then 20 minutes later a bother to help with hair. They managed to get me finished with 5 minutes to spare to get my dress/veil/shoes on and run down to the limo, hardly the magical experience we had planned. Both artists were very friendly and apologetic and the quality of the make up job was fantastic. However, although my hair looked nice it was NOTHING like what I had requested. (Straight instead of curls, I'm sure the hair artist only had straighteners with her.) Altogether, it was incredibly stressful and upsetting on our wedding day and I would not recommend this company if you value your special day at all. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this stress. EDIT: Since posting this review my husband and I have received COUNTLESS phone calls and messages asking us to take it down, even though they admit the review is honest. They have threatened to sack the make up artist, given us sob stories about how they can't pay for their child's speech therapy and tried desperately to pay us off to remove it. At 11:03 AM on the morning of the wedding, they texted that her artist had called out sick and they were looking for a replacement. My sister needed to be ready by 12:30 PM. They then told us they couldn't find anyone. The night before, I had been messaging with the artist about the exact look my sister wanted, and nothing hinted at a problem. I understand people get sick. But their website says that if an artist can't make it, they coordinate a replacement from their network, and it advertises national coverage with backup options. That didn't happen here. My sister, the bride, was in tears hours before guests arrived, and everyone helping set up had to stop and scramble. We only got her makeup done because a friend happened to be nearby. The team was polite and offered a full refund and a service credit, but a refund doesn't give a bride her wedding morning back. If you send contracted artists to weddings, a real standby plan isn't optional. I wouldn't book them for any event where timing matters.

On the day of my trial, the MUA/owner called to say she just booked more clients, and wouldn't make it to my trial on time, so she wanted to send someone else. Except I had specifically wanted HER, because she had sent me her own personal portfolio of work. She did eventually come, but she was late. (This should've been a red flag). She told me that the MUA and hairstylist for my trial would be the same people on my wedding day. Then, hairstylist called on the MORNING OF MY WEDDING to ask if somebody else could do my hair because she double-booked... WHAT?! And she was WITH the MUA at that time (doing my SIL's hair and makeup) and I cannot believe the MUA was okay with her asking me this. This created unnecessary stress for me. In addition, the hairstylist did not do the hairstyle I had asked for. I had sent her an image the Monday before the wedding, and she responded, so I know she received it. During the hairstyling process, she didn't check in to ensure it was what I wanted. She only had me check at the end, with not enough time to fix everything. The little bit I asked her to fix, she did not, and she left early. I told the MUA/owner that the hairstyle wasn't what I asked for. She told me I'd have to pay to have another hairstylist fix it... pay AGAIN. Not that there was even enough time. But no apologies, didn't try to fix the situation herself. I learned later that the hairstylist did the hair and makeup of one of my wedding guests, who confirmed that her appointment was pushed back. It is clear that the hairstylist rushed my hair to get to the next appointment. I contacted the owner of the company afterwards to express my disappointment and concern, and she NEVER responded. I sent an email and a text. Unprofessional to not even respond to any concerns from a client. Please save yourself the headache! Don't hire them. EDIT: Added a screenshot. It is unethical to bribe someone to remove bad reviews, just like it is unethical to bribe someone for good reviews. Also, hairstylists in a salon will revise their hairstyles even days later, no extra charge, if the client isn't happy, or the owner will find someone else to do it.
