My stylist did a great job with my haircut, and I could tell she's efficient and experienced. That said, I did run into an issue with the color service. The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. UPDATE: (response to Business Owner response) Thank you for the response, Emily. I appreciate you taking the feedback into consideration. I understand that staining can sometimes happen, but my concern was more around the visibility in multiple areas and that it wasn't fully addressed before I left. I've had my hair colored many times in the past and haven't experienced this level of staining, which is why it stood out to me. I'm glad to hear you'll be focusing on improving the final check and communication moving forward.

Honestly, leaving a haircut unmanaged for 4 months usually means my hair turns into a complete disaster. I have super frizzy hair, so I normally have to flat-iron it every single day or get a magic perm just to keep a decent C-curl. But for the first time in my life, my jaw-length bob grew out beautifully. Even after 4 whole months, the shape held up perfectly and it was so incredibly easy to style every morning without any extra chemical treatments. The technical skill here is seriously unmatched. I genuinely do not understand how this salon has such high ratings…read more As a first-time client, I arrived 15 minutes early for my 2:00 p.m. appointment. My "senior stylist," Evelyn, wasn't available until 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. During that wait, I was offered water once, but I repeatedly had to ask how much longer it would be because the staff kept saying "soon" without giving me any actual estimate. When the appointment finally started, I showed Evelyn a reference photo and clearly explained my daily hair routine. I told her I don't use styling products, don't heat style my hair, and simply wash it and let it air dry. Instead of cutting my hair to suit that lifestyle, she used texturizing products and spent a significant amount of time styling it. I even mentioned that I would never recreate that styling at home because it isn't part of my routine. The finished haircut looked nothing like the reference photo. At the time, the heavy styling disguised just how bad the cut actually was. The salon gave me a $20 new-client discount, and I specifically told them to apply that amount toward the stylist's tip. Instead, they processed a separate $21.18 tip. While it's not the biggest issue in this experience, it was not what I authorized. The real disaster became apparent after I washed my hair at home. The styling products had been hiding an incredibly poor haircut. The layers are uneven and completely unblended. There are obvious chunks of hair missing, and the entire cut sits lopsided. It is nothing like what I requested or what I was shown in the mirror after it had been heavily styled. I'm now left with a haircut that is genuinely embarrassing to wear and will likely require another stylist to spend months correcting. Between the excessive wait, poor communication, unauthorized tip charge, and one of the worst haircuts I've ever received, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. I absolutely cannot recommend this salon.

We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. My barber Cesar moved to this store a few years back, and despite me moving to a house in the North West of the valley, I am still happy to make the drive here for his awesome and friendly service, and for the overall experience. I highly recommend him, so ask for him by name if you are booking or doing a walk in! The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Heads Will Roll Salon & Beauty Agency. This team made my Las Vegas pin-up event experience feel absolutely magical. From the very beginning, Dottie was fantastic with communication and scheduling. Every email was prompt, detailed, professional, and reassuring. The process felt seamless the entire way through, which honestly made such a difference while traveling and coordinating event details. The morning of my event, Janet and Luci arrived at my hotel room right on time at 7 a.m. with the best energy. They were friendly, fun, calming, and incredibly talented. I was actually running behind, but they immediately put me at ease and somehow managed to have me ready earlier than expected. I still do not know how they worked that quickly while making everything look so flawless. My hair and makeup came out stunning. They absolutely nailed the pin-up glam look I wanted. Everything looked polished, beautiful, and camera ready. I received so many compliments throughout the day. What touched me most, though, was how kind and thoughtful they were with me personally. As someone with a disability, little acts of kindness stand out in a huge way, and these women went above and beyond without hesitation. They helped me get fully ready, including helping zip my dress and helping with my shoes, and they did it with such warmth and genuine care. I felt completely supported and comfortable the entire time. This was not just a beauty service. It felt like having a true glam team there for me. Professional, talented, compassionate, and genuinely wonderful people. I will absolutely use them again anytime I'm in Vegas. I honestly cannot recommend the ladies at Heads Will Roll enough. My wife and I had Janet and Michelle for our wedding hair and make-up, and we were so impressed with their work. My hair is naturally curly and therefore has a mind of its own, but Michelle did the most incredible job--my hair still looked perfect at the end of the day, something no hairdresser has ever been able to achieve for me! My wife's hair also looked fantastic and held for the full length of the day as well. Janet made sure our make-up was exactly what we wanted and checked in throughout to make sure we were happy. I honestly couldn't believe it was me when she was done. We both loved our make-up and appreciated the little kit provided for top-ups throughout the day. They are both lovely and made me feel at ease from the moment they arrived at the hotel. Aside from their expertise, it was wonderful spending the morning chatting with them--they really contributed positively to our day and got it off to an incredible start! I saw Stephanie at Heads Will Roll for a cut (after 18 months of wonky pandemic grow-out) and vibrant color. She texted me a few days before the appointment to talk about my hair type and inspo. She asked me lots of questions about my lifestyle and made suggestions for what she thought would work best for me. She was also able to give me a quote for the service and let me know how much time everything would take. It was really great to have that conversation ahead of time and know what to expect the day of, and I appreciate that she took the time to make sure my service was customized to me. My salon experience was 20/10. The cut and color came out gorgeous, even better than what I was expecting. But Stephanie is also just an awesome person. She was always checking in with me to see how I was doing, both physically and emotionally, during the 5 hours I was there. I really enjoyed talking with her and Dottie. It was just good vibes all around. Going forward, I can't imagine having anyone but Stephanie do my hair. read more

I originally planned to do my own hair and makeup for my wedding, but last minute decided to have someone do both instead. A few people recommended HWR on a Las Vegas wedding page I was apart of. So happy I went with them. I was worried I wasn't going to find someone since I emailed HWR maybe a little over a month before my wedding, but they emailed right away and were super helpful. Kristina did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. I had never gotten my makeup professionally done or my hair professional styled for an event before and she made me feel super comfortable and beautiful on my wedding day. I have very oily skin and my makeup lasted alllll day as the HWR website said it would and only came off at the end of the night when I took my makeup off before bed. Two of my friends were in the room with Kristina and I and we were all chit chatting having a good time while getting ready. I would recommend HWR and Kristina to anyone in Vegas. I just love my girl Valentina! I trust her whole heartedly with my hair and I have never been disappointed by the results, or her expert advice when it comes to cut and color. Whatever vision you have in mind Val will make sure you look even BETTER than you could've ever anticipated for because she has an eye for the color and cut that suits her client. She's oodles of fun to spend time with because there's never a dull moment. Sweet and spunky, she's still incredibly professional and will leave you feeling like a Pantene model. My hair is always silky, smooth and manageable even after coloring sessions, which I haven't been able to attain with any other stylist I've used in the past. She is conveniently located and I appreciate her flexibility with scheduling. We all have busy lives, but we shouldn't have to sacrifice our beauty upkeep or personal style. I would like to give a special thanks to Kristina Kupcake who did an AMAZING job on my hair and make-up for my March 16th 2015 Rockabilly style wedding!!!! She was super friendly, punctual, professional and not to mention FUN!!!!! She has an amazing set of skills and made me not only feel beautiful, confident but comfortable the whole time she was dolling me up!!!! She came to me!!!! BONUS!!!! I am not from Vegas and didn't know that was even an option so it made things for me a whole lot easier. I don't think I have ever seen someone so well prepared too!!!! I was going to just have regular make up done but she explained exactly what airbrush was and I totally changed my mind. What was nice about that was she already had everything with her so glad she was prepared!!!! I've been coming to Dottie for about 3 years for my basic styling needs. I started out by just getting highlights from her but over time she gained my trust and I let her cut my hair. I have very thin hair that is difficult to style but Dottie has done an AMAZING job in developing a cut that works for me and looks nearly as good when I return for my touch-up as it did when I walked out of her salon. Dottie always takes the time to listen to me and adjust my cut and highlights in accordance with new things that I'd like to try -- often making suggestions of her own that are very helpful. I am always thrilled with my color and cut results and will go to no one else as long as she is available. The only thing I can't comment on is the price that she charges because i am so happy with her work that I honestly don't even bother looking at the price. And I can say that is the first time THAT has ever happened in my life ;-) read more

Dottie Vee of Heads Will Roll gave my son his first haircut. It may seem pedantic to some for someone of Ms. Vee caliber to cut an infant's hair, but this exemplifies exactly what you will encounter. A master stylist with a heart of gold. While my cuts seem simple, it's surprisingly easy to fail a man's cut. Longer hair is forgiving. If any line is off, that simple cut instantly becomes a disaster. Dottie's attention to detail is perfect. Dottie had also restored my wife's fiery red to its former glory. Her coloring is on point & realistic. I've also been witness to her work during events such as Viva, Rockabilly Revival, etc. She is a true artist. I contacted Heads Will Roll in March of 2018 for hair and makeup services. I always received responses to all of my questions, and I had quite a few since we were coming in from out of state. I was able to set up a Pinterest board for all of my ideas so that they could be viewed ahead of the day. Kristina Kupcake did my hair and makeup. She was prompt, fun and completed on time. I looked in the mirror. HAVE NEVER FELT SO BEAUTIFUL IN ALL OF MY LIFE. She was amazing and did exactly what I wanted!!!!! The airbrush makeup lasted through a remote desert ghost town wedding exceeding 90+ degrees, and even throughout the entire night of going out on the town. I found Heads Will Roll Salon via Instagram and they were a dream to work with from the start. Sarah who managed my booking was extremely helpful - she went above and beyond her role. Because we were travelling from New Zealand, she gave extra Las Vegas advice and we ended up using her hotel (Stratosphere) and restaurant (La Comida) suggestions which were perfect for our wedding. Kristina Kupcake was my lovely hair and make-up artist. She was so calm, relaxed and professional. My hair and make-up came together perfectly - even though I didn't have a super clear idea of what I wanted, Kristina put it together exactly right. She also did my sister-in-law's hair and it looked beautiful. I would recommend HWR to anyone getting married in Vegas. Thank you so much HWR! X read more

I love Dottie. I am so thankful to have found a stylist I not only trust 1000% but enjoy being with. Theres nothing more awkward than a full color appt with someone that makes you feel uncomfortable or like you can't be yourself. I always trust Dottie to make me look my absolute cutest and she even low key reads my mind when im not sure what I want. Her color and cut skills are out of this world and she never fails to re spark my self confidence with an amazing hair cut or color! I am an anxiety haver and having a stylist i feel comfortable talking with and hanging out with makes everything sooo nice and fun and not stressful! She is so talented and the best person ever! These girls, omg. I got them to do three sets of makeup and hair for my wedding renewal pictures in Vegas on the VLV Rockabilly Weekender. Kristina Cupcake and Luci Lux were our artists, and they showed up on time, despite my terrible directions on how to find us in the hotel. They were so much fun, so confident, so helpful, and I can't even describe how amazing they made us all feel. They did exactly what we imagined, and then some! I felt like a freaking rock star. They were so personable, so friendly, it wasn't quiet for a second in there, we were all laughing so hard. I would use Heads Will Roll every time I go to Vegas, even if it's just for a fun night out! I was lucky enough to find Heads Will Roll on Facebook while looking for a stylist for VLV18. OH MY GOD did I find the perfect place! Without a doubt this was not only the best hair and makeup experiance I have ever had but hanging out with the girls was like talking and joking around with old friends. Everyone makes you feel so comfortable and your jaw will drop from amazement when they are finished with you. If I lived closer this would be the only salon I would go to for the rest of my life! I booked with Heads Will Roll salon for our elopement in 17.04 and I could not be happier with the results! Luci was incredibly friendly, professional and a joy to be around when I was nervous for the big day. We messaged before to go through ideas and inspiration, brining that to life for me on my wedding day. My make up was PERFECT all day and my hair, despite the weathers best efforts in the desert, stay in tact all day in the windy conditions. Would 100% recommend for brides as Luci can to me at our hotel and was super amenable. Dottie is the best! When I first moved to Las Vegas I was nervous about finding a good hair Stylist and then someone recommended her and I haven't looked back! She is clearly passionate about what she does and only uses the best products. I love that she uses Vegan/Cruelty free products and shares those values with me! She is always willing to help me if I have questions and/or need help with my hair. I should also mention that I have done natural and unnatural hair colors and she rocks both! I went from brown to purple to ombre with her and my hair isn't fried! You won't regret giving her a shot! read more

I was lucky to find Heads Will Roll on Instagram and decided that they would be my wedding present to myself! I am from London, however I was travelling to Palm Springs to get married and had my hair and make up done by Luci twice, once in Vegas for a pre wedding night out and then again for the actual wedding. She was incredible, she truly made me feel like a pin up princess! I was worried about arranging my hair and make up long distance but every question and worry was responded to super fast! I was lucky to book a last minute appointment for a rockabilly wedding that I was a bridesmaid in this past week. Kristina Kupcake came to our room and styled my hair and the brides hair perfectly to suit our personalities and the theme of the wedding. The bride had also booked to get her makeup done and I had planned to do my own but once I saw how great the bride's makeup looked I decided to get mine done too. Even though it was last minute Kristina was more than willing and it looked perfect! She was super fun and really made the experience enjoyable, I highly recommend their services!!! read more

I've been going to Dottie for almost two years now, and she took me from a dark (almost black brown) all the way to platinum blonde, with minimal damage to my hair. Through every stage of that transformation she has made sure my hair color was on point, and exactly what I was looking for. And once I was over the platinum, she gave me the most amazing Rainbow-Lisa-Frank-Unicorn-Goddess hair!! Luci Lux from Heads Will Roll did my hair and makeup for me&my partners elopement wedding!! And I LOVED it as did he Perfect victoryrolls, curls and wings!! she came to our hotelroom, did her magic in a very timely manner, and although I was concerned it would be weird having someone I didn't know do this for my weddingday, I can assure you it wad not! Luci was really sweet and down to earth, and made the whole experience very comfortable for someone who came all the way from Norway to get married whilst in Vegas! I been following Heads will roll for a wile, so I was very Happy about going to Las Vegas to get my hair and make up done by them. The Wonderful Luci Lux came to our hotel (magic to just take it easy and not having to go somewhere) and made our hair. What can I write except that she really lived up to my full excpectations. Trust me that's not easy. I also loved that she listend to my request about beeing extra carefull around my Eyes beacuse of my sensitive Eyes. I can really recommend this Magic artist to anyone. I met with Megan for consultation. She was 45 minutes late and so I texted her and told her I was…read moreleaving. She then called me and said she had fell down the stairs and didn't have her phone but was on her way. I felt bad so I stayed. She arrived about 15 minutes later. We discussed what I wanted done with my hair. She seemed a bit scattered but I chalked it up to her fall. She then said I have time to color your hair today and we can do extensions at the following appointment. She had difficulty finding things and complained about people coming into her salon and taking things. She came over to pin my hair up and pinned the first four segments up and when she got to the last had difficulty pinning it up. It took her several tries. I asked her if she was ok and up to doing my hair and she said yes. As she was doing this she said Siri call Jackson and attempted several times. About a minute later she said she gets worried when Jackson doesn't answer the phone. Siri never called Jackson as she couldn't get Siri to call. Thought it was weird but thought she may have been talking about another time. She started the first foil, she was about 2 inches from my head weaving the comb through my hair (I thought it was odd but maybe she had difficulty seeing) she put the first foil on my hair and started to apply color. She generously applied the color for about a full minute, rubbing back and forth. She then closed the foil and started the next. I thought to myself if this is how she does hair I'm going to be here all night. She again got about 2 inches from my head and proceeded to weave the comb through my hair this time she started to apply the foil and she couldn't get it up to the scalp and settled partially down my hair and then nodded off. I immediately said "you need to stop. I don't feel comfortable with you doing my hair. I want you to wipe the product off of my hair." She asked why and I told her what I thought (I won't say here) She then said let me wash the product off of your hair because it will keep processing. I went to the shampoo bowl held up the remainder of my hair so she could wash out the 1 foil. She put shampoo in the little bit of hair nodded off a few times and finally 5 minutes later I said stop and left with shampoo in my hair. I did make a report to the board of cosmetology. I ignored a lot of red flags and feel silly for even going back to her salon.
