My love for Steff deserves an update. This girl can do it all. We went blonde, we went even blonder, we went pumpkin spice, and this last month we went brown. Steff is always willing and ready to tackle any ideas I throw her way, and she is always excited to give me ideas as well. Knowing I could have easily shaved my head if I didn't like it, I said yes without any hesitation. She custom made a shade of blue with silver specific for my hair. This unique color can't be bought in stores and Stephanie was incredibly passionate about her art and her process. In fact, she was just returning from a class she went out of state for to better her craft! I honestly wish I could give this place more stars because I had admired them from afar before I moved to Vegas. However I did not have a great experience with them. I booked 8 months in advance for an engagement shoot and a year for my wedding. When I got there, they had no record of it and the lady that was supposed to do my hair had left. Waited for over 20 min and just when it seemed like they were not going to take me in, the hairdresser that was there kindly decided to just do my hair. Getting your hair done is fast and great, but the lack of organization had put a bad vibe on this place that I lost trust in them to be organized for my wedding day. Because my wedding was in Las Vegas and I lived in Fresno, I depended on social media a lot for choosing vendors. It was extremely important to me that whoever worked with me for my wedding worked well with my photographer, so I relied on a vendor suggestion list provided by her. After scrolling through the suggested vendor's Instagram pages, "Heads Will Roll" immediately stood out and I knew I wanted to utilize them for mine and my bridal party's looks. I requested the owner, Dottie Vee, who is a master at her craft. She specializes in pinup, waves and curls. I wanted to look like Gwen Stefanie circa 2003 at the 18th annual American Cinematheque Gala. Dottie had already done a style extremely close to that and posted it, and my mind was settled. Dottie executed the look I desired flawlessly. Her and her team of makeup artists came to our hotel suite and created the makeup and hair for me, my maid-of-honor, mom, mother-in-law, and my sisters. I had matching robes made for everyone and we had a great time bonding, listening to Billie Eilish, and getting glammed together. It is a very special memory of the very special day, and I will cherish that time forever. My makeup was done by Janet. She did amazing and gave me the exact look I was going for. The look lasted all day. My wedding day was actually planned backwards. Because our ceremony was at midnight, we had the reception dinner before the ceremony at 8:00pm. The bride and groom and wedding party went to Green Gale Farms, an olive grove that was suggested by my photographer, for its spooky vibe. Our pictures there started at 3:30, so we started getting ready at 9:30am. It made for a long day, but my hair and makeup held up flawlessly. 10/10 recommend. read more

Absolutely love, Love, LOVE HWR!!! It was my 40th birthday and of course I wanted to look good that day and for my drink toast later that evening. While searching for a salon that could do more than just a basic blowout, I found Heads Will Roll. What caught my attention was the Hollywood waves and glam look of previous clients. It was clear their stylists knew how to do those retro hairstyles. What sold me was that they come to you. So after emailing and getting lightning fast responses with Sarah, I was set up for a stylist to visit my room at Mandalay Bay. All you need to pay is the deposit beforehand, the balance is paid in cash in person to the stylist. My stylist was Luci and OMG!!! Did she make me look so gooooooood!!! She worked along with my photo inspirations, and made sure my hair and lashes could last me through the day. Actually, the hair was set so well, it lasted into the pool day the next day and survived a wipe out from the wave pool!!! I couldn't believe how well it held up! Dottie is an extremely talented and passionate hairstylist. I traveled all the way from Los Angeles to have her do my hair, and let me tell you - it was worth every mile! She took me from grown out minty green to a gorgeous blush/rose gold color (I attached photos for comparison).
