C'est beau. C'est chaud. C'est très Montréal. Where do I begin? Absolument fantastique! On our very first night in Montréal, we did what any responsible travelers would do: absolutely no planning whatsoever. We wandered in on a whim and somehow landed straight into what can only be described as a culinary jackpot. First visit to the city, and honestly, it set the bar so high everything else on the trip is still emotionally recovering. As a first-time visitor to Montreal, I can't imagine a better way to kick off a vacation with friends. We arrived during a full-on heat wave, which meant the restaurant was doing its best impression of "authentic Mediterranean sauna experience." But here's the twist: nobody cared. Not even a little. The food and service were working overtime to distract us from the fact that we were gently melting into our chairs. Before long, espresso martinis were appearing with suspicious frequency, and a perfectly respectable Negroni made an appearance as well. Now. We must talk about the true headliner. No notes. No edits. No constructive criticism. I do not say this lightly, but the fresh pita may have been life-changing. If you enjoy pita, feta, flavor, joy, serotonin, or the concept of happiness itself, please order it immediately. Do not consult the group. Do not "wait and see." Just act. NOW. No modifications. No hesitation. No regrets. The entrées were also fantastic. In fact, they were so fantastic that I failed my duties as a vacation food photographer. The plates vanished so quickly that I couldn't even get a proper photo, and now I can't remember what anyone ordered. It had already been spiritually consumed and physically erased from our plates. And then, just when we thought the night had peaked, Montréal said: "hold my espresso martini!" As we were leaving, we witnessed one final moment that sealed the experience. We witnessed a waiter sprinting down the sidewalk in a full-speed Olympic-level pursuit of a diner who had left their sunglasses behind. Did he catch them? No. Did it matter? Also no. The commitment alone deserved a standing ovation and possibly its own medal ceremony. The effort, determination, and Olympic-level commitment to customer service did not go unnoticed. Lovely little Greek spot in Montreal with a warm, cozy vibe and really friendly service. The space is bright and charming, with a relaxed neighborhood feel that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the meal. We started with the pita and tzatziki, and it was excellent. The pita was warm, soft, lightly grilled, and perfect with the creamy, garlicky tzatziki. Simple, fresh, and exactly what you want from a Greek restaurant. This is such a bright restaurant serving tasty drinks and food. The servers were friendly, attentive, but gave us space. The hubby and I wanted a break from all the bread Montreal has to offer so we ordered a salad, some cheese, a cup of soup, a dip, and some drinks. All the dishes came with pita - so much for cutting carbs. My favorites were the Horiatiki salad which is basically a Greek salad in the states. It was a large serving, incredibly refreshing, crisp, and had all the right notes of crunch, tangy, bright, salty I was looking for. The fried feta was my husband's favorite. We had two triangular portions served in a dish with tomatoes, olives, onions and a balsamic drizzle. The garlic dip was unremarkable and the soup was nice and lemony but I was too full to finish it. We didn't expect to find amazing Greek food in Montreal, but we did! Tzatzi-qui satisfied my craving of authentic Greek food (since I've been craving the real stuff for 20 years!) as much as it can be satisfied without being back in Greece. Between all the delicious dips ... tzatziki, tirokafteri, skordalia (yes we tried them all), and the entrees we ordered, we had way too much food, but everything was delicious! The ambiance was great and service was hospitable and friendly. We visited this restaurant over the weekend! We were pleasantly greeted by the host to our seats! Our waitress was attentive and constantly checking in -- superb service. The atmosphere and decor was classic and cute ! We started with some drinks which I highly suggest you order (they also offer mocktails). The drinks were very well made and quite tasty (shoutout to Hermès and Marghathéna!) For the Chef's platter we tried the calamari (we found them a bit over done, but still tasty). You have a choice of three dips-- we had the kirokafteri, tzatziki and Kopanisti. This was served with warm pita and all three dips were very good! We ordered extra fried zucchini on the side and this was also tasty! The dish also came with a salad-- this was so fresh and tasty and it also came with grilled pita!! As for the Chef's platter-- we ordered all four skewers ( an extra 5$ for the filet mignon skewer). This is where the meal lost us a bit-- all the meat skewers, particularly the filet mignon were over done and dry! The shrimp skewers was good but we enjoyed the first part of the meal a bit better. Apart from that, the fries, rice and lemon sauce were all very good. Worth a try if you are in the old port and looking for greek food. Portions are GENEROUS-- you will not leave hungry! read more

On of the best greek restaurant in Montréal. the portions are generous and food délectable my Feta sto-fourno was simply incredible, its hot feta cheese fried then they put in oven with red onion, black olives, and tomatoes., its an apetizer but let me tell you that its better not to eat too much pita bread or you won't be hungry fir the main meal. I taste the kota pita wich is a giro plate with chicken or beef plus fries and salad. I suggest this restaurant greatly if you like greek cuisine. read more

Neat spot. Has a cool vibe and ambiance. It is lively, but not to the point you can't hear the your dinner mate talk. The service was on point. The restaurant was packed, but they managed to find us a seat. We were well served and everyone was very polite and attentive. We got the chef's platter. The presentation of the food was great. The dips and salad were awesome. The Tzatziki, Skordalia, and Kopanisti were great. The kopanisti was a little on the salty side, but the other two were phenomenal. The pita was warm and tasteful. The chicken and pork skewers had a lot of flavor too, along with the rice. We enjoy the zucchini chips and fries as well. You can complain about the portion size either. I just returned from a vacation in Greece, and I will say, this was a fabulous authentic Greek meal. The salads are uber fresh and prepped beautifully. The tzatziki sauce here is truly some of the best I've ever had. The gyro platter was amazing as well. The staff here is attentive and delightful. A nice find. Casual but tasteful decor with a cosy cottage vibe, but unfortunately NO AC and no OCEAN in sight. I still enjoyed my meal with the pleasant service. Great night out at Tzatzi qui. The staff were super friendly and even took a shot with us! We had such a blast here. The food was overall good. I highly recommend the skewers (chicken, pork, beef or shrimp). It comes with rice, salad and fries. Unfortunately my friend got the lamb chops and they were really bad. Overcooked and lacked flavor. She barely took two bites but the waiter didn't offer to take it off or make something different for her. Drinks were super good though! $10 for a Sangria during happy hour. We did not eat here, but a crazy homeless man was chasing my friends and I for 10 blocks and groped my friend. We had planned to eat here but got here too late, however the man working that night was just the kindest person and let us stay while we ordered an uber away from the man. Not much different than what you'd find at any Greek fast food joint at your local mall, just at a much, MUCH higher price. The Wine list was poor at best, and also overpriced. Self-serve silverware placed in buckets at the table, and only ONE paper napkin per person. Service was dismal. Waitresses were cold, distant, inefficient, and unprofessional. We were expecting more for how much the advertised price was. The chicken skewer came with a greek salad, fries, rice, tzatziki and one chicken skewer. The dish was flavourful and was the highlight over the octopus. The waitress was attentive and very pleasant to connect with. We had our meal outside on the patio. We happened upon this lovely place on New Year's Eve. We sat at the bar where Jimmy welcomed us. Jimmy was fantastic. Even though the place was busy he made us feel right at home and his mixology talents were second to none. Jimmy made me a fantastic Negroni and my son had a phenomenal Espresso Martini and the presentation was perfect as were my daughter's cocktails. My daughter had the Aphrodite and the Atlas both unique and tasty and made with care by Jimmy. I also have to give a shout out to Florence who was great and super helpful.
