If I can leave 0 stars I would! I've been renting a storage unit from this facility for the last 5 years and needless to say service and quality has decreased year by year! For the most part of 2025 the elevator was broken meaning people on the second and third floor had to use the stairs to carry heavy items! They do not operate within their hours of operation On last week, I tried to access my storage unit at 7 PM. However, when I got there, it was closed. I tried a number of times to access my key card with the door would not open. And I tried the side door and it was locked. I noticed on the sign. It had a number to text if there were any problems, and once I text this number, the person who responded was very less than helpful as a matter of fact, they act like I was bothering them and did not offer any assistance to correct the matter I must say most people only utilize this facility just because of convenience and not for read more

I rented a uhaul truck on 6/28/2025 to move 18 miles between addresses. When I ordered the uhaul I placed on the order expecting drive 35 miles expecting to maybe have to pay for at least 15 additional miles. The pick up experience was long simply because the workers that were responsible for getting the trucks prepared had not so the associates just had to hand over the rentals. As we hurried to get moving, we took pictures of the dash but the picture for the mileage got a shot of the dash and the numbers were replaced with message. It clearly shows that the picture was attempted. Upon returning they still did not take us through check-in they told us to just park and leave the keys. Later, after paying $111, I get a bill for an additional $179. I went to the location and the Hispanic lady that was there stated it was too early for her to get into the system to fix it. I then sent an email as well as a dispute to come to a resolution. I just received a call from Uhaul at 7:21 am from the manager to let me know that they are not willing to work this out. She wants me to know that I will continue to be placed on Promissory List and will not be able to rent from them ANYMORE. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years renting in Dallas at the Camp Wisdom location and Kiest location and I have never been cared for so poorly. I used this location because it's right up the street 3 minutes away from my new address. Besides the young lady that I initially encountered when I picked up my rental she was very pleasant. After that the experience has made my move more stressful than it already was. Paying for another 15 to 20 miles was expected. Another 120 on top of that is absolutely ridiculous!!!! read more

I am disabled. I have a tracheotomy and require the use of a power wheelchair. I recently purchased a new car and needed a receiver hitch installed to carry my wheelchair. Obviously, because this car doesn't yet have a hitch, I had to leave my wheelchair at home today. I called Uhaul almost two weeks ago and scheduled the hitch installation. The person on the phone told me to be at the location on April 30th @ 11am. I showed up at 11 and the counter agent told me that my installation was cancelled. Their system shows that I was supposed to be there at 10:15. Instead of calling me, they simply cancelled my appointment. The agent told me that I would have to book for tomorrow. I told them I did not want to make a new reservation. I wanted them to honor the one I have scheduled. I even showed them the confirmation email that I have confirming my appointment date and time. The agent said, that I was trying to bully my way into getting service and to TRUST that he wants to make money. He would never just cancel an appointment without merit. As a disabled person, I am very sensitive to others. I would never try to bully anyone. In the end, I did get rescheduled for Monday at 9am. But, by the time I left the location I was literally in tears. The manager even offered me some water. I have never been treated so badly. I told her that it is unprofessional for her employee to treat a customer in this manner. If I did not NEED this hitch, I would cancel the whole order. I am paying them nearly $600. I don't think it is too much to ask to be treated with a bit of dignity and respect. It is not my fault that their scheduling system made an error. read more

I came by to pick up our reservation this morning and saw a 26 foot truck and started to look at the one in the lot ready to go. When an employee started yelling at me from across the parking lot. I ignored her due to the fact she thought it was proper to yell at customers from across the lot and not properly approach the customers and speak to them. When I informed her at it was not polite to yell at customers from across the lot, she told me not to have a bad day. I told her I wasn't her dog and I felt it was rude to yell across the parking lot, instead of approaching the customer and introducing herself and asking to assist me. She was very rude when I explained that yelling across the lot was not polite. But then she accused me having a bad day. We tried to use the online pickup feature to reserve our vehicle, but it does not work. Our vehicle was not ready as expected. So we had to wait. Making our movers wait for us to return to have them load our truck. I am very glad we are moving from this area in case we have to rent again from this location. To be treated like this and accused of having a bad day because I feel common courtesy is expected when dealing with your customers, should not be a hallmark of proper customer service and not an afterthought. Never should you blame your customers for your lack of manners and accuse them of having a bad day. After 1 and 1/2 hours of waiting the truck we were examining on entering the lot was ours. We will have paid the movers for 2 hours at 100.00 per hour because of this rude and incompetent employee's behavior. She couldn't take the time to come out and apologize for her error. Instead she blamed it on another employee and couldn't except responsibility for her poor behavior. That is why there are supervisors and leaders. Leaders lead and push their employees to excell. Supervisors take no responsibility and will not raise their employees up to excell. And then we found out that the key chain they gave us was broken and I'm sure this woman will charge us for it. read more

I tried to rent a truck from this U-Haul. They would not rent it to me because my daughter owed them money on her account. I didn't know she had an account. What does her account have to do with my account? I was told by their E-Alert department that they attached our accounts. Why would you attach my account to her account? The only reason I can see you attaching my account to her account is to try to strong arm me into paying her debt. This is an absolutely TERRIBLE business practice. read more

Made my initial reservation months ago. Got a call this morning saying they did not have a truck available at my chosen location. They also didnt have a truck anywhere within driving distance.. 45+ because I would have to pays the miles driving for their mess up. Guy on the phone was pretty rude and did little to rectify the situation. I have been dealing with a lot of anxiety due to this move and the time constraints I am in, he did nothing to help the customer feel any better. I wasnt asking for a miracle, I understand things happen. Why wasnt this unavailability brought to my attention till the day before? They have a scheduling system Im sure and can see when the vans will and wont be there. Why are their customer service representatives rude? Overall glad Penske was able to accommodate me and treat me with some kindness also unlimited mileage**. Will never give Uhaul my business and wont be recommending it to anyone else. read more

I installed a hitch here and they did a great job. They even recommended a lesser total cost than what was expected . The only complaint I had was not getting (3) items that I was charged for: Ball mount, safety pin and hitch ball bar. I got the most important item, the hitch so it wasn't an immediate biggie. Was told by the manager that I was supposed to complete the return online which was never explained. Would not recommend. Waited forever inside the building just to try and return it. I signed up in advance to do a "contactless" pickup. When I arrived, I checked in via internet over the phone and was given a truck number. After walking the parking lot for five minutes, I eventually had to come inside and inquire about the truck. I was told by the manager that although I could do check-in over the phone, I still needed to come in and ask for the key so THEY could bring the truck to me. It took another ten minutes for someone to bring the truck. The employee Darek had a terrible attitude. He brought the truck to the front and walked away. He STILL had the key. I asked him if everything was in the truck and he said he hadn't even looked at the ticket. Therefore, the furniture pads I ordered were not in the vehicle and I had to wait for him to go and get them. What should have taken five minutes ended up being about twenty-five. I was then charged an additional day and had to go back to the location (twenty miles) the next day and dispute the charge for them to credit the account. Also, the check engine light came on about five miles away from the store. So much for safety, "contactless," and the convenience of checking in via internet. I've had my share of moving in my life and have used u-haul several times but nothing compares to the experience I had with these folks. Rented a truck for a day and got charged for 3. Took me a month to get a refund for just one day instead of two. Customer service is rude and very unwilling to help. Zero courtesy and flexibility to retain customers. This is the last time I'll ever use U-haul!!! And I'll discourage anyone I care about from going there. Did you know you can rent cargo vans, trucks from car renting companies like Avis, budget and co? Plus they don't charge you for mileage, you can drop off in a different location no charge, plus they are very flexible and accommodating. I must have had a brain fart the morning I went to uhaul to rent this van. Lost a customer and probably a couple dozens more!!! read more

Poor customer service deceptive business practices. Don't be late on equipment rental they are clock watchers and will purposefully gouge you for a whole extra day with no mercy. Plus, I got overpriced insurance protection and charged me an extra day on that too. Ok I was a little late but what kind of business gouges you just because they can. I am regular renter but they show no consideration. I would have gone ahead and kept equipment the extra day but too late they won't even give you that courtesy, you are late and that's the policy. They say they might have had another reservation. I say look around that's not even good basis to take advantage of you. It's ok, I'm taking my business elsewhere but they really don't care, just looking for the next sucker. Expect to wait in line even with reservation. Expect to wait for equipment. Expect to wait when you return equipment. Expect to be placed on hold if you call. For every step of the process, service was far less than satisfactory. The truck was not ready when it was supposed to be ready. I had to wait while it was cleaned, and the strong smell of a cleaning product stayed in the vehicle for the entire moving process. I got an email invoice a day after the move for an overdue balance and late fee-- no text in the body of the email, just an attached image for the invoice. Who does that. Who? I called the store to ask about the bill, and the store said they can't process a payment, call Customer Service. Okay. I'll call.... Customer Service said they could tell me about the balance, but they can't process a payment either, call Billing. Okay, I'll call.... Billing said that they haven't received the invoice yet, so they can't process a payment, call the store. Yes. Literally a circle. I make them call the store with me on the line, and they end up both saying they can't take the payment. Try online maybe? I try to pay online, but they can't remove the late fee that way- a late fee charged the same day the invoice is generated. A month later, they just withdraw the money from my debit card with no notification. I will never do business with this company again. read more

I rented a uhaul on last Saturday and picked it up loaded my stuff and drove 10 miles down the highway, the roving shaft flew from under the truck into traffic. We had to get the truck over to the right as far as we could before it just stopped. It wouldn't move forward or backwards. I called roadside assistance and they took over an hour to get there. The Fort Worth police called a towing service and I had to either pay $150 to tow it 5 miles to the service road or they were going to impound the truck. The tow truck guy was so rude to us. I paid and they towed the truck to the service road and not even 5 minutes later the usual roadside assistance showed up and towed it all the way to Austin. I called this location where I got the truck but no one ever picked up I was on the phone over 30 minutes trying to get someone to give me some assistance, no one in customer service ever picked up. I made several attempts to call them with no avail. I wouldn't dare ever rent a truck from uhaul again. This could've gone very badly for me. I was thankful I wasn't hurt driving behind the uhaul truck or anyone for that matter. Do NOT rent a truck from this location, it's terrible. read more

this was first and last experience with this U-Haul. went to a tow dolly and they told me that they didn't have one in stock so they sent me to a near by store that said they had two. they ended up not having any in stoke ether but said the store we just came form had two in stock and sent us back to the first store.
