Caliber Collision completely ruined my 2024 Dodge Durango. From the factory, it had a flawless black glitter flake paint job, and they repainted it the wrong color -- flat black -- with bubbles in the finish. They also tried to pass off a non-OEM headlight until I pointed it out. Even worse, they left my brand-new SUV out in the rain with no driver's side window installed. When I checked the car, there was water in the doors and on the seats. One of their staff brushed it off with, "It's not that much water." That's negligent and unacceptable. To make matters worse, Shay -- the person assigned to help me -- had an attitude every time I pointed out mistakes. The only reason I gave even 1 star is because the GM, Ken, stepped in and handled things professionally, taking accountability and trying to make it right. But the damage was already done. Their lack of care, sloppy work, and disrespectful attitude made this a terrible experience. read more

This shops mechanical incompatensy, managers ego, and refusal to be wrong about anything contributed to a year long battle with my insurance company and ultimately over $2000 dollars out of my own pocket in parts and repairs. I am a retired asc certified mechanic BTW. But god forbid anyone suggest what is wrong with the fucking car. I had my wife's vehicle repaired from a front end collision which this shop "fixed". Less than 6 months later the cv axle failed on the highway and almost got into a SERIOUS accident with my children in the vehicle. Come to find out this shop installed USED PARTS to fix the car which they blamed on the premature failure. I still was suspicious this was the reason for a failure of that kind. After taking the car out for a test drive after the 2nd repair the vehicle had horrendous over and under corrections when turning the wheel which the manager INITIALLY acknowledged FULLY. As we were driving I explained to him that the ONLY thing that could cause the type of EXCESSIVE over and under corrections and excessive wears on the CV axle was a bad steering rack (which they either missed and did not want to replace originally). This manager refused to acknowledge MAYBE they missed this MAJOR fuck up during the original estimate because then they would have to eat the parts and repair costs. He then started plotting how to lie to the insurance company about the actual reason for the original failure and proceeded to replace ALL of the front end suspension parts because the "steering rack WAS NOT the issue". The insurance company did NOT end up covering the cost of this $1700 parts and repairs and this ended up coming out of MY pocket. The manager called after repairs and said it's fixed. I came already expecting it to drive the exact same "which it did". After taking it on a test drive with some random employee because the manager was HIDING IN HIS OFFICE on an "important phone call" to avoid the responsability of confronting me. Needless to say I came back and demanded, literally had the shout at him by name from the front desk to get off the phone and come speak to me face to face about this. He eventually came out and told me he's not replacing the steering rack and he was going to tow my vehicle to a storage lot and the cost of keeping it there where going to be on me if I did t take my STILL broken vehicle off his lot. So I ended up taking the vehicle home. Ordered a replacement steering rack and replaced it which is not a easy repair in your driveway with no lift by myself. GUESS what, the car drove like new! Imagine that. This is a cautionary review to take your vehicle ANYWHERE else. This weasel of a manager shouldn't even be working behind a AutoZone counter. read more

Marcus Denmon was a great service advisor! He made sure he kept in full contact for the duration of my service. He kept me up to date with all the changes and parts ordered and if it was going to take longer and originally planned. He kept his word and was punctual with every call. My car was even warmed up when I got there and they washed and vacuumed my interior! My great service wasn't only limited to Marcus, the lady at the front desk was nice as well, I just didn't catch her name. I had a small leak where my window weather stripping was cracking and causing my windows to not function properly. I spoke to Chase Henderson and he got the replacements in quickly and once they were in he was able to install them while I waited. Was pleasantly surprised with the service and will be back if I ever have any other problems. Where do I start. Let's say I will never go back for repairs to Duncanville location off 67. The customer service was very very horrible. I took my SUV in for hit in run on my passenger door. I would have thought this location would have been great because I went to another location not far from Irving and the service was excellent. But me want to stay close to home chose this location, Let's start off saying my SUV will never said or run the same to me. I told the service (Daniel) that I was hearing road noise and he needed to look at it.. this MF said he didn't hear wind noise its a different from Wind and Road and I have never heard either in my SUV. So after I kept telling him I was hearing the road noise he said its nothing he can do.. what the hell So I got my insurance back involved and once they contact him the story change, I took it back in and no different so I will have to take it to another location to get the road noise correct. If they didn't know what they was doing they should contact me and my insurance to know so I can take somewhere else. I have learn a lesson from this place and not to give business to the neighborhood cuz it's all about the $$ instead of fixing the issue correctly. Came in for an estimate on 5/8. Upon entering, a lady who I thought was the receptionist (turned out she's a manager) greeted me in a less-than-pleasant manner. The guy doing the estimate - no name given - told me he needed to take the car apart in order to provide accurate information. I initially agreed. Later I learned that they wouldn't accept a third party check. Side note: A valet attendant at the Hyatt Regency wrecked the vehicle so the parking company is financially responsible. The parking company will only pay the body shop directly. So, I was stuck and the worst part is neither the manager nor the guy providing the estimate seemed to care. The manager was very unconcerned. Disappointing because I previously had a very positive experience there. But, there were different people working there. This current team leaves much to be desired. When I stated that I would need to take the car to another shop, the response was "Oh, so you don't need this estimate?" Again, no concern, no apology for the inconvenience, no goodbye, nothing. Considering how much money they make off customers, the service should be better. I will never use their service again. I am having the repairs done by a place down the street with better reviews. read more

I had 5 different successful repairs done on my vehicles when this was Craig's. But today (Friday) I stopped by to get an estimate for some minor body damage. I was told I needed an appointment and the earliest they could schedule me for an estimate was next Wednesday. Wow...it sounds like Caliber is too busy to service me. My insurance company said Caliber was a recommended company - but when I called, a cold, callous woman answered and said that they weren't taking any more hail damage claims, and that I needed to call their call center to get an appointment. I called that number and waited on the phone for 11 minutes before getting someone to pick up. Then, the call center agent said I needed to call another number to set up an appointment. So I called the third number and they said they didn't have my claim in their system yet, so I had to wait - very frustrating - if you can't connect with someone , I would say this is BAD service. read more

Calibur collision does outstanding body work and good customer service. Always kept you informed and answered all questions. But their Mechanics are lacking. They misdiagnosed the front end shake and it caused the insurance to deny the repair. Any good mechanic would know exactly what was the problem. Their mechanic claimed it was pre exsisting warped rotors and tires. But the van would not shake when the brakes were applied. It would shake going at Hyw. Speed only. Clearly a front strut that went bad due to the misalignment and the worn tires also due to the misalignment from the Colision. read more
