I have rented from We Rent Cars and Trucks on multiple occasions because they have well-maintained vehicles at highly competitive prices. On multiple occasions I have encountered a man who works there who simply doesn't understand customer service and basic professional conduct. He has been extremely unfriendly and very unhelpful to me, and I have observed other customers experiencing similar interactions with him. When I was there the last time, I explained to him that I would like to change the card on which the charges were placed and he responded in a very negative and angry way. He said to me at 7:53 a.m., "Well you're going to have to wait until 8am when Lisa gets here." I replied to him by saying that there was no need for rudeness and poor treatment of a customer who simply wants to pay a different way, and that waiting 7 minutes would be no problem at all. My comment was met with anger and a great deal of eye-rolling. This business may rent cars and trucks but they must also provide customer service in the process of doing so. Except for Lisa, who is very friendly unprofessional, most the other employees with whom I have interacted here have been less than accommodating and conduct themselves seemingly without any manners, most of all the Male employee references earlier. I wish I could understand what goes through the mind of a rude employee in 2020 when anyone can post reviews about their experiences, thus mirroring the truth and asserting accountability into the equation. I will figure out the name of this employee and post an update soon. Ironically, one of the male employees helped me retrieve my box cutter which I had dropped in a crevice of the cargo van I had rented. He tried with several tools, but in the end the 12" vice grip pliers I provided did the trick. Strange how one or two of employees will go the extra mile for you here, and the rest of them seem to be total grouches, one much more so than the rest. FROM 2 YEARS AGO: My experience involved an interaction on the phone. The rep said that no amount of money was sufficient for renting a car without a credit card. Debit cards are not accepted regardless of how much balance you have in your account. The rep even refused to consider a cash payment in excess of the total value of the car for a 48 hour rental. He wouldn't rent a $7K vehicle for $10K in cash or debit card hold. This defies logic. There is no reason to refuse an offer like this unless you just don't understand basic business. Additionally, the rep was far from courteous on the phone.

They would contact me when parts were in (April 2021). Fast forward 18 months later and still no call from the Wrong Buick in Wexford Pa and a new safety recall card arrived. Called Wrong dealer again and was rudely told we told you we will call you, parts on national backorder. So, I called 1-800 Buick and they hooked me up with North Star who stated they would also call when parts were in. North Star called 2 days later and car was in 3 days after that and repaired. Called AAA to dispatch a tow…read moretruck to me, they say 45 mins for Tow Tegrity and listed as top priority due to my location ....25 mins later police show up saying cars impeding traffic and they arent gonna wait for tow Tegrity they will call their own tow company that accepts AAA. Baldingers shows up says AAA covers it and bc they accept it and i say it needs towed to 8 miles away to my home so I can fix it. Tow truck guy says no its going to our shop (1.8 miles away) and from there you can have it towed. I told him what was wrong with the car and that loading and unloading it onto towtruck after tow truck risks damaging the car even more and if he can accept AAA then it can be towed where i need it towed instead of where is convenient for him. From there car gets towed to shop, i arrive a few sec after tow truck driver, stand outside waiting for him to get out, he rolls the window down and says "Can i help you?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Wtf do you mean can i help you you? I know he cant be that stupid that he doesn't recognize me from 5 mins ago. But thats not even the best part. Once my cars towed there the guy asks me where i needed it towed to, i tell him, he then tells me that AAA doesnt cover the tow and itll be $100 to drop the car at his shop or $200 to take it where it was originally supposed to go. Again....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!. Very very shady to me, had i known they dont accept AAA id of just backed the car up off the bridge and waited for the tow company that doesnt lie and have shady business practices. On top of all this, i cant even pay the $100 for the tow bc theyre closed. So now, when i could be working on my car and had it fixed the same day and fixed by myself, my cars basically impounded, and I now have $100 in towing, and they offered to quote me for free the price to repair and not charge me overnight storage fee as long as i call tomorrow. Well ill be calling to see if they actually give me a decent price on repairs as they said they would or try to screw me over. For future reference, if the owner/manager happens to read this.... have your tow truck drivers be truthful, and not lie saying AAA covers it when in fact IT DOES NOT and train your drivers in customer service because telling my stepdad to "Fuck off" (on fathers day) for him voicing his concern over the situation is unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely uncalled for. Depending how tomorrow goes with them on the phone, i may be adding to this review or taking it down. All i know is its very untrustworthy and very shady for them to say one thing, do the job, and say something completely different.
