Tow trucks showed up after someone hit my car. I mistakenly trusted that they were fair and decent people, but it has literally been an entire day of the tow yard holding my vehicle and trying to charge $1,600, causing my insurance's tow company to cancel twice. My car was in the middle of the road so I did not feel like I had much choice and it has been at their lot for less than 24 hours. This was on top of them telling me explicitly to "not let Geico bully me into getting my car repaired somewhere else". They claim to be a family owned business, but it now feels more like a shakedown from a very shady company. The flatbed even dragged my tires across the ground without putting my car in neutral, seemingly to maximize damage so they could increase their profits on a 10 minute tow. I have now learned the error of trusting any tow company that shows up before the police do. Very disappointed and I will be spreading this awareness of terrible service on as many outlets as possible. read more

Their tow company took advantage of my young daughter and charged her $1100 for a short distance tow and an overnight storage fee. My daughter called 911 to report a hit and run accident involving her car. The tow service probably heard the call using a police scanner and showed up to the scene. The driver told my daughter it needed to be towed and she unknowingly complied. I literally just had to copy and paste this from another consumer. This company just showed up at the scene of an accident, they were NOT called, and charged $1800 to tow a truck less than ten miles. They are a disgrace. The company we do use in Uniontown charged us $300 to drive from Uniontown to Pittsburgh, 50+ miles, to pick the truck up. I know very few people pay attention to these reviews. But if you actually read this PLEASE avoid these idiots. read more

Great garage. I was hit by a lady at Penn/ homewood ave and their tow truck driver was there in 5 mins, which prompted me to go to C&R in the first place, the tow driver was polite and nice drove me home and the ladies insurance covered everything, the reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I had custom tire caps on each tire and when I got my car back one was missing on the damaged tire, which sucks cause now I got to buy a whole new set, and I didn't notice it until I was home. read more

YOUNG DRIVERS BEWARE!!!! If I could give this company zero stars I would. I was in a car accident recently and during the accident the man came from behind me stating it was time to clear the intersection and gave me his business card. Told me and my passenger it was free towing due to small distance. Asked for AAA to move my vehicle to new location they requested $325 on the night of the accident. The next day I am told I owe $750 due to a $325 towing fee with rediculous add ons and a $65 storage fee when my vehicle had been in their shop for 12 hours. They pray on young people thinking their parents pay for their insurance. Manipulate their way into making their pockets bigger!!!! read more

I recently had a significant dent fixed at C&R. I paid out of pocket. I received estimates from five different shops and C&R's price was the cheapest by far. The job was completed quickly and they were able to work with my schedule. The body repair and paint matching looked excellent and they returned the car to me with a full cleaning inside and out. My motorcycle was hit in Nov. 2012 and was towed by C&R Collision2 ensuring me they were capable of repairing the bike. They took 2 moths to ruin the motorcycle. They put the mirrors on wrong, the wiring was substandard and not soldered as well as incorrect (the parking lights go out when you use the turn signals), they broke new fairings and tried to use hot glue to fix it, they used the same adhesive material used to hold weather stripping on car doors to secure the screws to the windscreen. I would never let them touch another vehicle of mine. All of the damage was cosmetic and they couldn't even bolt new parts on without screwing up. read more
