Got the follow-up text message coming close to the hour they had promised that it would be ANOTHER hour long wait. Now this time was 11:35 pm. The time for them to arrive at 11:35 p.m. came and went with yet another text that they will now arrive at 12:40 am. WHERE were they towing cars from and to where? Okay...now this is a bit much when you're stranded with no place to go in the middle of the night, and with a 19 month old baby. Now considering you don't speak directly to an agent but are directed via chat that's even more frustrating! I could share the entire flurry of chats with you, but I'll just post this last one: "Your roadside request has been assigned to ADVANTAGE TOWING INC. Their technician should arrive by 2:47 AM. I will send you an update as soon as they are on their way to you." Are YOU kidding me? Middle finget to you Advantage! So, on the phone I go to contact AAA member services--why am I paying for this type of service from an incompetent towing service to NOT show up? Who does this...wait for nearly 5 hours for repeat text messages of they are NOT coming as promised. As far as I'm concerned, it is my feeling they were in a bar somewhere getting plastered and didn't want to be bothered on a Saturday night. Don't expect them to come to assist you if it's a cold winter day. Luckily for us, it was NOT cold, but comfortable waiting in our car chatting for another MORE reliable towing service to send a technician named CJ to the rescue who came and handled the problem in LESS than 10 minutes. It was a security issue under the hood but Advantage would NOT know that because THEY did not have the time! Stay away from "Advantage Towing, INC". Ask AAA who they are sending and if it's them, decline, decline, decline and have them find a more competent service sent your way. We did just that! If I could rate them with 0 stars, that is what they do deserve. But in order for me to leave a review, you apparently have to pick at least 1 star. WHERE is the "0" I really want to leave? They are HORRIBLE and not worth you taking the chance they will come when they initially say they will. Maybe they were busy towing cars from a business or an establishment where people were out having a good time only to find their car gone when they got to it, I don't know, but stay away if you value your time. I don't have pictures I want to share only the text messages that were repeatedly sent to me for the first 3 hours. Enough is ENOUGH!

The day before, a member of the company met me at the storage unit, and said I needed to do nothing. The next day, a 3-man team showed up within 15 minutes of the expected time, and within 2 hours everything was loaded onto the truck. Once the truck was weighed, I got a call that the move would cost me $700 less -- when does that happen? Eight days later, the truck, and the same crew arrived on a Saturday at 7:59 AM, one minute earlier than I had been told two days before. And within 3 hours everything was unloaded, a desk re-assembled, and many boxes of books and bookcases carried up stairs to the second floor. Never a complaining word; the team just did their job. I should mention that even the pins for the bookcases were removed and wrapped. Nothing was lost. I cannot recommend this company more highly -- and they are not restricted to the South Hills of Pittsburgh despite their name. They move nationwide. Arrived 10 minutes before opening time today at West View, and Mike unlocked the door, and immediately got me sorted, within 15 minutes I was on my way, no hassles whatsoever. I could even choose where I wish to do the drop in my hometown in Canada. Totally changed my Uhaul experience from zero to 5 stars. Thank you Mike, I hope you get a bonus, you deserve it.
