I secured my truck online. I came in dressed to move, even I thought I looked sketchy lol... I was greeted, accommodated and even guided away from options I thought I needed, he wasn't trying to up sell me, which was appreciated. Mindset: I had retired, sold my home and made a temp move for 30 days, then I was leaving the country. So my brain was puddy... I gave away and then had to move my living room furniture and dining room furniture (I know, I know - give it away and have to move it yourself - lol). I was worried about leaving my car parked so close to the trucks. The owner assured me it would be okay and it was. What really impressed me when I returned the truck it was late and dark, they were closed. The husband and wife aka the dynamic duo came out and helped me bring the truck in after hours (behind the locked gate), and even helped get the moving blankets out the truck, it was cold, very cold and did it all with such a pleasant attitude. Over the years I've moved to several cities and there is something different about the customer service at Uhaul, not that I ever had a bad experience, but now the customer service is memorable and personable. My review was way too long I know, but gratitude - I have so much gratitude for the help and service from those two.

Then the manager said that it's 54$ with no contract to sign she just gave me the key and that's it. Long story short, I bring it back before noon and only drove it for 13 miles yet they charged me 120$ for no reason at all. Horrible explanation, Bobbi Harper didn't even mention there are free blankets in the car and she even charged us extra for blankets we didn't know already existed. She also didn't even give us the receipts, she charged us an extra 25$ for not folding the blankets of the U-Haul like that's my problem or chores. If you are looking to move make sure Bobbi Harper isn't the one helping you out because you will be scammed.

This was the first time I needed a hitch and trailer service from UHaul. While there was a missed step for a part to install, the team there helped me locate the missing part and quickly and effectively installed the hitch and had the van trailer reserved ready to go! They did everything RIGHT! My entire experience from start to finish with the GM and the staff (full time AND part time!) were so very helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. I cannot say enough how wonderful they all are! Thank you very much for being the great team that you are!

The man at the front desk tried to call around to the neighboring Uhaul to see if they had any dollys available but none were. All of this was incredibly time consuming after standing in line for a long time. This incident ended up ruining my moving experience. After the store was unable to resolve my issue I messaged Anthony Summerfield the Uhaul General Manager but he replied with a very unhelpful response. This is the worst service I've ever had from any business during a move. Stay away from this company, Anthony Summerfield does not value his customers as you can see in the screenshots!

Even more so, I messed up with my original reservation to get a larger truck. She got me set up with a trailer and going within two hours. From the call to getting hooked up and travel time. That's super freaking quick. I'm gonna include a few other ones here since U-haul right? Security guy is pretty rad. He answered my questions about the trailer sway and etc. Even found me when I missed where to hook up. They might not be getting paid enough, but they do a damn good job. Did I say how awesome Anna was? The price, it's moving so overall. Moving from Dallas to Alb, U-haul, trailer, and gas. Was about 1700. The ride itself, I drove an SUV that is super cozy, soooo. They force you to download their app to return a truck after hours and they charged me $9.20 for 2 gallons of gas even though I filled up before returning it. I had to call their customer service to have them review the photos on the app. They refunded my money, but I didn't appreciate the hassle of having to call.

I rented trailer, used it, returned it and got receipt also .... so everything is fine. After 2/3 hours they called and saying that it has some major visible damage and now fined me a lot due to this. If it is major damage and it is not any automobile that they got to know later, so why cannot they checked earlier when i returned in front of me. And also saying it is major visible damage so if it is there when i returned they did not noticed and said anything, also charge me rent and sent receipt. I returned it all good as i drive it to them from my place around 20 miles and they checked, recieved and then charge me rent also as i have receipt at that time. I don't know what happened in there parking or just making money and charging on false statements. Also they charge me and send reciept first with the only rent which they returned back to my card and after 2/3 hours then they charge me with damage and rent so if there is damage how can they charge me first only rent without inspection?
