Very Disappointing Experience…read more We hired All Ready Moving and Storage for our move in July after they came highly recommended by our daughter and another person. Unfortunately, our experience was nothing like what we expected. Our original quote was approximately $2,600 for three movers and one truck for one full day of work. Three movers arrived, but from what we observed, only two were consistently working, and the youngest/smallest member of the crew seemed to do the majority of the heavy lifting. There was a significant amount of standing around by the other crew members. When it became apparent they weren't going to finish within what they said was their workday, we were told they needed to call in a second truck and were charged an additional $1,000. In the end, they worked only about two additional hours, and the second truck carried just part of our sectional and approximately six storage bins. Please note, the first truck was not full. Even more frustrating, despite the additional time and expense, they did not move everything. They completely missed the boxes in one of our upstairs bedrooms. They also removed the door between our garage and house during the move and did not put it back on. The customer service afterward was equally disappointing. I had told both a mover and the dispatcher that the credit card they had on file had been compromised and replaced. Both told me the office manager would contact me the next morning for the new card information. Instead, when she called, she was rude about the card being declined and told me no one had passed along the information or documented it. Before paying the additional amount, I asked to discuss my concerns. The sales representative was initially pleasant, although I found his responses condescending. He said he would speak with the owner and call me back after lunch. He didn't. I called him. He then said he needed authorization from the owner and would call me the following morning. Again, he didn't. I had to call him. We ultimately agreed that I would pay $3,000. While I was explaining why I was so disappointed with the service, the sales representative actually giggled. When I asked if he thought the situation was funny, his response continued to feel dismissive and condescending. I told him I would not recommend the company and that I intended to leave a review. His response was that he "looked forward to seeing the review," and he ended the call. I don't expect every move to go perfectly. I do expect a company to provide the staffing and service I'm paying for, communicate honestly when problems arise, finish the job, and treat a customer respectfully when there is a legitimate complaint. We paid $3,000, our belongings were moved, but based on the overall experience, the lack of productivity we observed, items being left behind, our garage entry door being left off, the attempt to charge an additional $1,000, and especially the way our concerns were handled afterward, I cannot recommend All Ready Moving and Storage.

The rate was good and they did a…read moredecent job although I asked their movers to mask because we are immune compromised and one of them removed her mask right in our faces while we were paying which I did not appreciate and was dangerous. This time the crew was 45 minutes late because they went to the wrong address during the first part of the move despite me being very clear, repeatedly, where to go. That was very inconvenient and my mom had to wait around in her car outside a storage unit while I kept having to message to ask what was going on and barely got a response. I received the final invoice and paid it immediately with a nice tip anyway. A couple days later I started getting a bunch of emails from the company saying that I hadn't paid. I sent them a screenshot of the $0 invoice balance and the transaction on my credit card. It had the name of the owner and a transaction ID and their ZIP Code. They continued to message me every few days saying we didn't get your payment, you must've sent it to the wrong place, they even sent me another invoice like they expected me to pay again. I kept telling them to check in on their side and that I didn't know what else to do. I provided ample screenshots showing that I paid and they kept blaming me and trying to bill me again. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company which was painful because I'm disabled and making phone calls hurts me. I didn't know what else to do because this is not a small bill and the company wouldn't stop bothering me. Finally they made a call themselves and immediately sorted it out which they could've done in the first place and then they apologized to me and said yes you did pay right away it was an error on our end. This was a complete waste of time and completely unprofessional. It's not appropriate to harass a customer who paid, who has clear evidence of paying, instead of just doing your due diligence and trying to resolve the issue without making me feel doubted and blamed for days. I can't recommend this company and I'm very angry about the way I was treated. Harassed for something that wasn't my fault at all and that they could've resolved with one quick phone call on their end instead of bothering me when I had just moved and they know I'm disabled. Avoid this company.

That window, and the fact that it's a standard (not guaranteed) service, only came up when the crew showed up for pickup. * The 12% fuel surcharge was never mentioned verbally. * My original estimate was $3,655.68 for 350 cu.ft. By the time I signed, it was $5,262.12 for 425 cu.ft. -- 44% higher, sprung on me with the crew already there. * Their initial sales email explicitly called delivery within 21 business days "guaranteed." That word was never used again in any later communication once it mattered. * I was told my shipment would dispatch "this week." It didn't, no update, no explanation. Delivery ultimately showed up roughly 10 business days after their own contractual deadline. The driver didn't even know his own company owed a $30/day late penalty -- he had to check. I only got that credit because I pushed for it myself. Then, on delivery day, they sent a full-size 18-wheeler to an apartment complex with a normal circular parking lot entrance that other carriers handle without issue. It couldn't get in. Goods had to be reloaded onto a smaller truck on the spot -- a completely avoidable failure that ate back into the small credit I'd just fought for. Every step of this, from the first sales call to the delivery truck itself, required me catching something they either omitted or got wrong. Would not use again and would not recommend.

I mentioned that I had a kitchen fridge and stove to move as well. 2 quotes later, neither one of them were listed correctly under the kitchen section. I tried to change it myself online as soon as I realized it but the portal was not user-friendly. I sent an email stressing that I needed both packing and moving of heavy bedroom furniture help and the kitchen appliances too. Then I called to alert Eco Movers personnel to my email asking that the "quote/estimate/contract" be corrected to reflect the changes accurately. The changes were not new information, they were just a correction to the errors that were on the original/initial quote. The worker called me and told me not to worry because the quote was just an estimate. This is not true as I found out the hard way. Once you sign the "quote" it becomes a contract that they can and do enforce. Like the weekend policy of them charging you for a minimum of 4 hrs even if, in my case, the workers only worked 2.5 or 3 hrs. The movers showed up to my home and informed me that the "contract" did not specifically stipulate that they would pack anything. Days earlier the worker on the phone assured me they could and would supply moving boxes and other "packing" materials and I could pay at the end for whatever I (via their workers) used of their packing materials. He even said the movers would supply special boxes for dishes and kitchen glasses and other fragile items. This turned out to not be true. When they arrived, the movers did not have any boxes to use to pack up my home except for 3 or 4 small boxes sitting in their truck. I would have needed at least a dozen or so large/heavy duty moving boxes. I used none of their boxes or packing materials but they tried to bill me $46 for "materials." When I asked what this "materials" fee was for I was told it was for their fuel for their truck. Last I checked fuel is not called materials, it is called fuel or gasoline or diesel. We don't go to the materials station to get gas or diesel for our cars and work trucks. We go to the gas station. Gas is very expensive right now and Diesel fuel is about $6.00 per gallon. If you are charging for gasoline/diesel fuel just say that in the initial "quote" and on the final bill so that the customer is fully informed ahead of time. I complained that this was a deceptive way to bill customers (by calling fuel "material" and not fuel) and they took that fee off of my bill. They moved my large dresser mirror downstairs, into their truck and later into my storage unit and didn't bother to wrap it or try to protect it at all. That is very lazy work. Also, they accused me of having something in my home that I absolutely did not have. I explained to all 3 of the movers and their manager on the phone that it was just burnt candle wick cuttings but they terminated my move after 2.5 hrs and billed me for 4 hrs. I paid the 4 hrs bill but I will NEVER recommend Eco Movers. They completely ruined my move.
