I ordered some new bedroom pieces several months ago but they were on back order "until March". A few days ago, the furniture store called to inform me that they had just received my items (a bit ahead of schedule) and that I needed to pick up my order within two weeks. I contacted their preferred third party delivery service (Boush) and was told the pieces could be picked up and delivered to me within the week. I was given a three hour window (between 10 - 1) for delivery. I was pleasantly surprised when Roy and Ernesto arrived exactly at 10:00 and called 20 minutes before their arrival. They were delivering to a top floor unit in the heart of downtown so there were a few more logistical issues than just delivering to a home on a quiet, neighborhood street. Roy and Ernesto were absolute professionals. They maneuvered the parking, hallways and elevator with precision and skill. There were multiple large, heavy pieces (along with an oversized mattress) and they (not only) had everything unpacked, set up and cleaned up...they also took away the old furniture. All within 40 minutes. They were friendly, professional, efficient and (most of all) careful with my delivery. When it comes to the value, I'm going to say this: Time is Money. $400 took care of delivery, set up and hauling away the old furniture...all within forty minutes. This was well worth the cost. My own time, muscle power, sanity and patience were not things I was willing to gamble on. Boush took care of it all for me. Highly recommended. read more

We recently purchased a sectional sofa from the Old Cannery Warehouse. Boush delivered our sectional within 2 business days. Our scheduled delivery was for between 8-11am. They called at 8:15 to let us know that we were the next delivery and would be at the house in 40 minutes. Spot on with their delivery time. When they arrived they laid down mats inside to insure they were not tracking mud, water or outside debris. We paid an additional service fee to have the sectional put together. That is worth every penny you spend. They even stopped what they were doing to let my husband put furniture pads under the sectional legs to protect our hard wood floors. All in all we would recommend 10/10. Next time I buy from Old Cannery Warehouse, we will 100% use Rouch for delivery and assembly. read more

We purchased furniture through The Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse. Boush Moving & Storage seems to be their recommended company for moving furniture to seattle as we receive their contact information from our sales rep. We hired Boush Moving & Storage to pick up our new bed set from The Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse to bring it to our house and set it up. Boush Moving & Storage was very kind when it came to rescheduling a few times. I always called in advance of their deadline. They called the day before to give us our delivery window and arrived during the window. The reason for the low rating is due to their delivery crew. They were cold and rude from the moment their arrived. I showed them multiple options to move furniture in. They didn't really care to look at the front door option and preferred to use the basement. I didn't push it but I've moved into my house before and knew what things worked. My husband quietly told me that they'll likely need to use the upstairs option, but I told him they can learn the hard way as they didn't want to hear from me. They seemed very sure of themselves. Guess what happened. :-) When it was time to move the dresser in through the front entrance, I asked the delivery guy if he needed access to the adjacent room to maneuver it down the stairway. His response was, I know what I'm doing. I've done this before. I told him I was asking because it's my husbands office and he's in a meeting so I need to check-in on him before opening the door to let you in. Lastly, when they were moving the headboard in they did not bring a blanket to cover the wood. I feared they'd touch the wood with the fresh paint on the ceiling. One of the delivery crew members said they wouldn't, but of course they did. In sum, the delivery crew is arrogant, rude and sloppy. I would not hire them again. read more

Really nice guys, polite, on time, and fast set up, with no mess left behind! The van could not fit up our steep, narrow drive so the guys had to park on the street and carry pieces up the drive and into the house. Boush was recommended to me because they were affordable and careful with your things. As it turns out that wasn't the case. To move my home locally it was $13.5k only after haggling on the price. Admittedly I had a large home, but this came in significantly higher compared to other bids I received. I went with Boush because they promised to take care of my things and make it really easy. It turned out to be not worth the price as the quality of the packing was inconsistent. A couple examples: I found a desk drawer loose in a box that was completely broken and a snowboard, that I packed myself, had a bunch of loose yard tools they added to the box (damaging my equipment), several furniture items had dents and scratches. Hidden fees: - They charge 4% to pay by credit card! What modern business does this? - They charge to drive from their business to your house! Many moving companies for local moves don't actually do this. It's akin to charging for commuting to work. - You will pay for the time it takes to drive to your house, from your house to the new house, AND from the new house back to their shop! Why should I pay for them to drive their trucks home for a local move? In general, it seems the company operates under archaic guidelines, and while they say they are going to take care of you they aren't really doing anything special. I would have rather paid less and dealt with a few things breaking than pay the premium in order to still have my stuff damaged and a bad customer experience. I do want to say that it seems management is mostly the problem. The people who are doing the hard work of packing and moving really do work hard, but they aren't the ones being paid all this cash or over promising on quality. read more

This company was used for delivery/setup and removal of furniture that is used by The Old Cannery. I was given a call the day before my scheduled delivery between 3pm and 6pm. I was told I would be notified when closer to arrival. I had to check up twice on when the delivery is going to be and was just informed they are roughly 15-20 minutes away. An hour prior to this I was told they are on their way. This is very unprofessional and bad timing. Removal and delivery at 6pm evening when people are having dinner and family time is a complete lack of respect to the customer!! Bruce was short with me and provided incorrect information! Would not recommend this company. I was offered this service due to the issues I had with defective furniture. I will the in the future be picking up my own furniture if this company is ever involved with the delivery process! read more

I'm not moving, I just wanted furniture delivered that I purchased. I told the gentleman on the phone that it didn't matter the day during the week it was delivered I just needed it in the afternoon. He told me that was impossible to guarantee. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the product Boush and Atlas (Boush's contract for the cross country move) provided. Here are the numbers: - 3 bedroom house (no couches, no dining room table, no dining room chairs, 1 bed, 1 baby grand piano (about 500 lbs), 1 washer/1 dryer, no other appliances, lots of other stuff) - We packed approximately 2/3 of our stuff, Boush 1/3 - Cost: $16,300 - Days to deliver: 25 (didn't even get picked up for 14 days) - Excuses from Boush and Atlas - lots - DO NOT believe the provided estimate provided by Boush. It will be underestimated - they added $4000 to our final bill for various costs, all not disclosed until the day before delivery (initial bid was just over $12000, which they claimed was conservative). - I would expect a fully furnished 3 bedroom house cross country move to cost at least $18000 utilizing Boush/Atlas. If this is a standard rate, then use Boush and expect your stuff in 3-4 weeks. I wish we had shopped around more. If you can beat this price, try another company. One bright note - friendly packing crew from Boush. They seemed to pack things well which was appreciated. read more

Before you spend your money with these people READ MY STORY!! THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES!!!! I am a 62 y/o disabled lady. I recently sold my farm in Puyallup and since I like to do business locally, I contacted Boush to move me to Montana. The people who had bought the farm gave me 28 days to vacate the property, which meant that I had to go through 4 generations of storage for family members before I could move. I had contacted Boush the year before the move so I could get boxes to start packing. They sent me a sales guy, Dan, who is expert at over promising and under delivering. As if selling one place and buying another 3 states away isn't difficult enough, there was no set closing date, everyone on both ends was waiting for county paperwork and other details that held the closing up. So, I did my part to keep Boush in the loop. We made a plan for them to pick up my things on May 31st. On that day, Dan kept saying that he could have a driver to get my things to Montana by the 6th of June. I adamantly stated that the house in Montana wasn't going to be closed until the 10th. I can't tell you how many times I corrected him. He kept saying the 6th and I kept saying that early access was refused by the sellers and that the closing date was set for the 10th, the same day that I was leaving for Montana. He told me to pack a week's worth of clothes, I lived in those clothes for 41 days!!! I kept emailing Carl only to be ignored. It was only after I cc'd my attorney that he called me back! Their crew was a bunch of young, strong guys who had my stuff loaded into two trucks by mid-afternoon. One of the guys was also the one that ended up driving my stuff over to Montana. Sweet guys, all of them. My beef is with the owner, Carl Boush. Whose word, means NOTHING!! While they were unloading I noticed that one of my ladders, a 6' Werner, green, did not get unloaded and it wasn't on the papers that they had given me when I paid $ 2,047.50 for picking up my stuff. There were 8 or 9 guys picking up stuff and carrying it to the truck while calling out a description to the ONE guy who was writing everything down, all I can say is that they packed it but it didn't get written down. All I know is I never got it. They also had picked up a $400 kerosine heater and took it with them but, it also was not on the delivery truck. Their driver called back to Carl who told them that he would mail it to me and I sent an email to Carl to remind him of this promise on August 15. I still haven't seen it! I drove a 21' moving truck to Montana, I could have brought the heater and the ladder with me if they had left them but, they took them. They charged me another $ 7,266.58 upon delivery. This means my one move, that took 41 days to complete, cost me $9,314.08, a ladder and a kerosine heater, a far cry from the estimate that Dan gave me of $4-6,000.00. They would not put the bid into writing. They even threatened to charge me storage while they weren't moving my things. What an insult! This company and Carl Boush specifically, lied to me, stole from me and generally took advantage of me. I would look elsewhere if I was you! read more

Boush delivered our new furniture from The Old Cannery. We had just had new carpet installed and it was rainy out that day. The two guys did not put covers over their shoes and carried in the mattress with plastic wrap around it that they had set down in the driveway and got all wet and muddy so they asked for a roll of paper towels to wipe it off while sitting on the new carpet. Put the bed frame together but didn't ask what height we wanted it set at and its so high I can hardly get up onto the bed and too heavy for me to lift it and adjust the legs. When I went to make the bed the mattresses were just thrown on the bed one going one way and the other upside down, unacceptable service. Have more consideration for the homeowner. I would not recommend this company for any furniture deliveries. read more

We moved from a 4br/3ba home to a similar size new construction a few towns over. It was a big move requiring two vehicles and six men.  They arrived on time, with masks, and got right to work.  We did a quick assessment of the home, what needed to be packed (I left mirrors and fragile items for them), and they emptied it all out before lunch.  When we got to the new home, they laid out coverings for our railings and floors, especially mindful of the new carpet.  Not a single scratch was made on our walls or floors and all items were in one piece!   I was most impressed by their teamwork and the ease of their operation.  Joe was the lead, and Dylan was the handyman with the tools; he could take apart and assemble something FAST and with care.  Ramon showed leadership qualities and took charge of some scenarios (how they'd make something fit, how they'd pack, etc).  Caleb, Sean and Alex all hustled and I'm pretty sure they finished even sooner than planned!  All in all it was about an 8 hr day including the transport to the new house, lunch break (we got pizza and they were so appreciative), and making sure everything was in the right place before they left. Also, the quote process was so smooth and professional. Dan came to our home and reviewed everything, gave us guidance for moving day, and provided a very reasonable quote by end of day. We also picked up moving boxes and it saved us quite a bit using recycled ones from Boush instead of purchasing. They were in great condition and we'll return them for another use, too. I can't express enough how easy they made this move, when just about everything else seemed to be going off course, in the midst of a pandemic, no less.  While we certainly hope to be staying put for awhile, we would for sure use them again if needed and will recommend them over and over! read more

Doing business with Dan to schedule and estimate our loads each time has been accurate and his willingness to make sure our moving experience is a positive one. Best moving experience ever! I'd never heard of these guys but I was so desperate after three other moving companies fell through that I started calling movers rated in the Puget Sound Consumer Checkbook magazine. Boush had 100 percent overall approval rating from customers, so I figured at the very least they wouldn't screw me over. Bob Boush drove up from Puyallup and said it would cost me about $1,300 to move from Bellevue to Vancouver, Wash. (Mitchell Bros./Allied wanted $2,600 and Hanson/Bekins wanted $2,300.) Two guys loaded the truck in four hours and delivered the next day. It turned out that I had fewer pounds than estimated, so the final bill was $1,090! I saved so much money I gave the guys $100 tip. (BTW, Hanson/Bekins' salesman was very accommodating at first, saying I might get a $500 price break if I was flexible on the delivery schedule. I said I could move earlier if it was that much cheaper. But then summer business picked up and the terms changed. I would either have to accept a three-day delivery on my original move date, or a two-day delivery if I could move a week earlier -- both at full price!) Anyway, if I ever move back to the Puget Sound area, I'll definitely use Boush again. read more

I have to assume that the negative reviews for Boush were bizarre accidents in the time/space continuum, because I've had nothing but AMAZING experiences with these guys. They've moved me twice, and will be moving me again in a month. The movers are prompt, courteous, and I have never in my life seen hourly movers haul such serious ass! Nothing has been broken or damaged, and I never saw that awful moment during most moves, when movers are slamming things around, or dropping boxes to the ground in a way that makes you cringe for your dishes. I can't say enough good things about these guys! If you can, request Justin on your crew, too. PS: don't be "that guy".... have some bottled water for these guys while they work. If they're working around a meal time, offer to buy them lunch too. Just because they're physical labor doesn't mean it's ok to be thoughtless or a jerk. And don't forget to tip if well if they do a great job! When they haul ass to save you money on the total bill, you should thank them with a good tip! read more

The front office is rude, impersonal and did not accommodate our needs. When asked to reschedule our move (due to events that were out of our control) the person at the front desk threw a fit. We gave her plenty of lead time (the move wasn't for a couple weeks) and even offered to pay more for the inconvenience. Have dealt with many movers throughout the Puyallup area. We are not high maintenance and gave them plenty of chances to make things right. Do not use Boush!!! read more

Excellent service from the Boush team. Dan our estimator was professional and personable. He came to our apartment on time and looked over what we needed moved. That night he emailed me several options from them doing it all including packing to just moving and us packing. The rates were very reasonable. The morning of our scheduled move we had a three man crew come. They moved us out of our apartment and into our tri-level home. The movers were very polite, respectful and punctual. Having a Pine table and 4 chairs and bench delivered from Cannery Furniture in Sumner didn't go well at all.......They were not suppose to be at my house till 2-5 window..they show up at 1230 w/out calling and says we just around the corner..no call...I had to put off everything and appt I had.... so they get the table top moved in and 1st thing they do is HIT the wall make a hole the size of my hand and not even a reaction...NO SORRY NO NOTHIN..just walked outside to call his boss...whadda schmuck.....I hadnt even moved into this new house yet....,just taking a delivery of furniture..I didnt move in till friday...They were kids not moving men handling heavy loads.....they left behind screws all over the floor, and my 4 dogs found the screws and glad I got to the dogs.....NEVER AGAIN...................... read more

I had a very bad experience with Bousch, which is unfortunate as I know they have many positive reviews, and they were actually recommended by someone I work with. There was damage done to the hallway in my rental by one of the movers, and three months later I am still trying to recover the funds from them that the property management company deducted from my security deposit. Have called, spoken with owner...but still not resolved. They also forgot items that required the owner to actually drop off a bookcase at my house, which was very accomodating, but never should have happened in the first place. In terms of timing, I had three movers and I do think that they worked as quickly as possible, and I also think they were very polite, friendly, and helpful. I just think that the problems I had and the inability to get the money issue resolved clouded what otherwise would have been an overall very positive experience. When you pay $1,500 for movers, you don't expect to have these types of problems. read more

We've had a complicated multi-stage move with some goods going to storage, some "easy out" that we want to get to before the big move, plus a small load that will come ahead of everything else, just boxed, shrink-wrapped and on a pallet via motor freight while we are in temp housing. PCS moves are usually horrific, however the guys from Boush did a pretty amazing job. They were pleasant, clean and very friendly. They arrived promptly and worked non-stop until the job was done. They did miss a few things that we wanted packed, however we are at fault because my husband and I weren't on the same page about what was getting packed and what would stay behind. I was very impressed that they were considerate enough to delay packing our daughter's bedroom and stuffed animals until the second day so that she could have one more day in her own room. I have a $6,000.00 Piano that I wouldn't trust anyone else to move. They brought in 4 guys for that part then dropped back down to 2 guys to save me money on the overall move. I have dealt with rude, psychotic movers in my time, but this was by far the most atrocious, appalling experience with a moving company I have ever had in my entire life. This is a very edited version of the actual horrors Boush Moving put my family thru. My husband and I were supposed to get our sofa delivered Friday between 3-6. By 6:00 we had not heard from the driver or the company. I called to find out what was going on. The receptionist had been trying to get ahold of the driver, Bruce (also the manager, not good PR for the company), all day, and had been unsuccessful. 6:45 Bruce texted me to say he was going to try to get to the furniture store to pick up my sofa before they closed, but then I never got another call or text, not even that he hadn't made it to the store. So I had been essentially on hold for over 4 hours that day. Common courtesy gets you a lot these days, but apparently, to Bruce and Boush Moving, I was not worth the time or effort. Saturday I got a text from him to call. Then he gave me attitude about if he'd been able to get ahold of me when he called earlier that morning, I'd have my sofa by now. Where does HE get off giving me attitude about being able to get ahold of ME, when he was unavailable and not on schedule all day Friday?!? He apologized for not getting it to us Friday, so he knocked the delivery fee down and quoted us $75. The only good thing about this whole fiasco, and not worth the abysmal experience. And he ended up trying to rescind that anyway. 10:30 am he said he was going to Puyallup with one (note: ONE) delivery to make, and he would be here soon. My husband and I had plans that afternoon, but my mother in law (bless her heart) had offered to stay and wait for him. I left her $75 cash for the delivery payment. Bruce lost any possibility of a tip when he didn't show up on Friday, or at the very least call to let us know he wouldn't make it. By 3:00, at the end of my rope and tired of being jerked around for 2 days in a row I called to find out where he was. Again, I couldn't get thru to him, as had happened ALL day long Friday. I called the company and got voice mail. At this point I'm feeling like they are screening their calls because of their atrocious behavior. He called back to say he should be about half hour away but needed my address. Why did a professional mover not have this important piece of information with him already?? I gave him that & very simple directions. And your typical professional driver can extrapolate where they need to go from basic directions- I dealt with truckers for years. About 45 minutes later he calls to say he's lost and wants to make sure he wrote the address down correctly. The only thing incorrect was the very LAST road to turn on, yet he had not made it past the Roy Y. It should have taken him about 10-15 minutes to get from where he was when he called to get to the Roy Y. Seriously, what is this man doing with his time and how is he keeping his business going? With the very simple directions I gave him, let alone the address (which he had most of correct) he should have been able to make it to within 1-2 minutes of my house in WELL under 45 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous, and totally infuriating. And my mother in law was STILL waiting at my house. She does not live there, she has a LONG drive home. --Without fail, EVERY person I have told this to, at this point asked if he seemed drunk or high when he arrived because of this unexplained time lapse. I was neither able to confirm nor deny this because I was not at home to meet Bruce, as he had not arrived at his promised time Friday. He finally made it there by about 4, after telling me at 10:30 he'd "be there soon." According to my mother in law he had an attitude when he showed up. They were having some problems getting the sofa in the door, so he wanted to remove the legs, and he asked her for tools. First of all, if this is something he supposedly does for a living, why does he not come equipped with those sorts of things he might need in these moves? Many people in this line of work carry a toolbox in their truck. Secondly, I told him several times that delivering on Saturday was not a convenient day for us, and that my mother in law would be there rather than my husband or I. She told him she didn't know where we kept our tools. Then she gave him the $75 he quoted me over the phone. He immediately tried to extort more money out of my mother in law, who had been sitting there waiting for him for 5 hours when she had better things to do.
