After searching on Yelp for the most aesthetic laundromat in New Orleans, Holy Sheets came up as #1...and once I saw the photos, I already knew this was the one. The floors alone sold me! I also had an oversized blanket to wash, so I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. When I arrived, I sat and waited for my photographer, then went to ask a staff member a question about starting my wash. That's when she let me know photos weren't allowed, but she offered to check with the owner. A few minutes later, he arrived (I hate that I can't remember his name), greeted customers, and then came over to speak with me. I explained it was for my birthday shoot, and he kindly let me know it was a busy time and he didn't want to make other customers uncomfortable, but he offered to schedule another time for us to come back. Very respectful and professional. Of course, with a scheduled shoot, we couldn't really pivot like that, so I thanked him and started making other plans. BUT then...he came back and said we could go ahead and take pictures, just to be mindful of customers and stay on one side. That meant so much! Even though people naturally started moving into that area (lol), we made it work, and he was super accommodating the entire time. I really appreciated that level of kindness and flexibility. Now let's talk about the space, this laundromat is BEAUTIFUL, if laundromats can be beautiful lol. Clean, bright, and very well-maintained. The floors? Stunning. The machines were all in working order, plenty of baskets available, and I love that they offer full-service wash and fold options too. What stood out the most was the customer service. He greeted people as they came in, listened attentively to customers, and created a welcoming environment. Overall, such a great experience. Thank you for being a part of making my birthday special!

Run away and go anywhere else!…read more I came in with two wedding dresses. I needed one back in three weeks for an event so I ask if they'll call when they're done. The lady behind the register laughed and was like probably no but they should be done by next week. Try calling Tuesday. While waiting on an employee an office in the room looks over and says "they've really raised their prices since they've changed owners." I'm still optimistic. I call a week later, no answer, no voicemail. I try again in a few days and nothing. I go in in person. There's a different woman behind the counter and am told they haven't been started and there's no way they would have been done in a week and a half. No problem but I do need one next week for an event and tell her which one. She says she will make a note. Two days before then event still no word. I try calling and nothing. I try again and get someone!! They can have it don't a few house before my event. That's fine, I'm grateful. I show up and It's $160... I asked about pricing. She said the dresses are $100 each. I was like but this is just for the one dress? Yes she says. No explanation why I'm being charged an extra $60. (Is it a "rush" fee for a dress they had for 3 weeks?! No clue) I notice almost immediately there are brown streaks on the back on the bodice of my dress. They almost look heat related but I'm not an expert. I point it out and she shrugs. I ask if the other dress has been started. I get a long I don't know response and it would be difficult to find out. I ask for it back. She has it within a few minutes... She hands it to me in a pile. I had both of the dresses hung and in garnet bags when I came to the cleaners. I ask for those and at first am met with resistance but then another employee points out where they are and she give them to me. I hope my dress isn't ruined but it looks like it might be. I absolutely didn't trust them with the more intricate dress and feel scammed out of a lot of money.

Clothes came out clean and fresh, and the owner Sheldon hung out and talked to me about all sorts of interesting and funny topics while I waited.. Being from out of town he gave great recommendations to hear good music + tasty food.. Definitely would be taking my laundry here if I ever came back to town!

I thought last minute would cost me so much but it only 17 dollars for suit and shirt. Damn not like Los Angeles prices or the customer service I would have received. Very clean laundry. The male laundry attendant is very helpful and handles rude or insulting people…read morein a calm and firm manner. Not long ago I was there when this lady came in past last wash and threw a fit when she was told it was too late. She continued to argue and scream at the guy and he remained calm trying to get her to leave as she was causing a scene and did not want to accept no for an answer . This went on for at least 30 minutes and when the attendant stopped to help a customer that was drying their clothes she went to a washer and started to load her clothes in. The attendant was alerted and he told he to stop it was already near 7:30 and the laundry closes at 8pm. She thought she was going to do it anyways so the attendant went to the breaker box and turned off the breakers fir the washers since there were none been operated since it was way past time for that. She finally left but continued screaming outside. I don't know how some people working in the service industry keep their sanity except maybe they don't let a few bad apples ruin it for everyone. I would highly reccomend Kim's Dirty Laundry. To those with attitudes or inconsiderate or rude, go elsewhere as this place will not tolerate it and want to keep this a nice safe friendly place for their patrons.

(At scheduled opening time.) However, as a warning for the drop-off service: both times I've used it clothes have returned seemingly ruined with starch? Dryer #9 barely dried my clothes after an HOUR. My usual laundromat dries all 3 of my loads in one giant dryer in that time. I do not recommend unless you're in a tight bind. They do offer wash and fold for $1 a pound, so if you don't have a lot it may be worth it.
