I have nothing but great things to say about U.S. Bank. I called their 800 number on Friday to schedule an appointment. The representative offered nearby cities. I ended up going to the branch in Burbank (inside Ralphs). When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and Mila, the representative, walked me through the process. It took 20 minutes to open an account. She was polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Note: This is a busy branch, but the representatives who work there are very efficient and knowledgeable. They didn't want to help us open a business account they made us waist our value time so they can just say that it will take some time to do an investigation on the Social Security. This branch has slowly changed within the past year or so I would say there's always new unfriendly faces recently had a very non friendly/professional experience with a bank teller ( middle eastern woman) I was worried and panicked over a large cash deposit I processed using the US BANK ATM it had stopped and marked my deposit $700 an error and didn't registered a single dollar and or returned my hard worked $700 ATM right next to the bank teller windows I asked this person and she was very unprofessional and rude and shined me off I have been banking with US BANK for almost 20 years she treated very cold and unfriendly almost as a racist discrimination my view and expectations from the us bank corp has changed completely, she rudely said call the number on your receipt like it's advise as she walked away, horrible customer service Mac Donald's had provided better service than this woman , horrible hiring staff they have giving US BANK. I'm soooo grateful for the US Bank app! The mobile deposit option is very convenient for the busy people during the week or lazy people like me who can just snap a pic and continue sitting on my couch. Well while at work yesterday I was in a horrible service area so my mobile deposit didn't go through. I searched and found this location that is open on Sundays! Perfect! Most US Banks that are open on Sundays are in a grocery store, like this one which is located inside Ralphs and there is one by my old house that was inside of a Vons grocery store. Ok so back to this location... There is a US bank sign attached to the Ralphs signs so you can assure you are in the right location. I entered the store around 9:57 am and looked to the right and saw the bank from afar. After leaping over all the last minute Mother's Day shoppers trying to get bouquets, I made it to the window. Whew! Even though they didn't open for another now two minutes, the deposit slips stand was already set up and ready for customers to use. Which was perfect because I was making a straight deposit. 10 am hits, the lights pop on and a smiling face says "I can help you over here." I explained to her my attempted deposit yesterday and she said it wasn't showing on her end but we can go ahead and deposit it here. As she typed away on the computer she asked me my plans for today, I responded with church so this was perfect that they opened at 10. After I finished answering her question she was done. Who would've ever thought, that a bank would close your savings, checking & all your & your wife's credit card accounts... For taking an offered loan from said bank, withdrawing the money & a few months later (because of unforeseen circumstances that you were not going to immediately end up using the loan) deposit the money back in to the bank?! (& it was the same exact $bills that were originally withdrawn, as well) Longer story but that's the gist of it. Well, that's exactly what US Bank did to my wife & I, after being customers for many years & never defaulting on any of our accounts. I had even asked several different tellers, days before I withdrew the money, "If I ended up depositing the money back in, if my plans to use it wavered, would it look funny" & was told, ..."It would send up a "red flag" but once reviewed, there would be no problem." Lucy & the manager, not sure of his name (short, overweight guy with a beard & mustache), treated me as if I were a criminal & talked to each other with my name in the conversation (I can hear fairly well) when they saw me get in line to do my regular banking, while I was going through all the asked motions & documents to try to stop this from happening! & on top of all of this, US Bank reneged on the 0% interest loan that I paid $540.00 to take... By saying, because THEY closed my accounts, that I no longer could receive the 0% interest loan that I was supposed to have for approximately 12 more months! The 5 Stars is for this branch only (NOT Toluca Lake or inside Pavillions). Amid this pandemic I needed a cashiers check, while most all bank branches are closed I was surprised to see this one was open. I called in advance and I believe a gentleman named Tony answered...super polite and helpful. Next day I headed to this branch and the tells were also super polite and helpful. I had terrible experiences at Toluca Lake and subpar at Pavillions, so this was encouraging that I can stay with US Bank and know I will get great service from this location. Thank you! read more

I tried to open a checking account in this location because I moved from the Midwest. I had explained to the teller that I just moved in & I was waiting for my new California-State ID. So I showed her my Illinois ID & the receipt from The California-DMV for my new ID. (they will mail it to me in a week or so) They told me that they could not open an account with this information. I told them that I was a former US bank customer and I gave her my SS# so she found me on their system. Even though I give them all this info. they asked me for a bill or mail from my current address here in California, so I said sure I will come back tomorrow. I came back with some mail with my new address in here and my name on it, Plus a bill & they still saying that it was not enough info. So I was getting really irritated by the teller so, I'm asked her may I speak to your manager because this is getting ridiculous. She replies to me: oh he is having lunch right now inside the office, so he can not talk to you right now, so I was really? I just said, you know what, I do not need your services anymore. I can go to Chase or Bank of America, They will have time to welcome new customers. I don't really know why they give me this kind of service? I don't even want to give 1 star! I have been coming here for 5 months, cashing my paycheck weekly. I finally got my tax refund and opened up an account. The young girl that was helping me was very nice. Apparently Artin the Branch Manager didn't advise her or himself to ask me for a bill. After it's opened for a week they call me and threatened to terminate my account if I don't bring in a bill Lol I'm at work, I work full-time and have 3 kids. I bring it in as told on Friday and because it's past due from February (it's March btw) he tells me he can't use it. Really? It's for Address verification! There's my address sir, it was no different 3 weeks ago. I went in today and opened an account. ON A SATURDAY!!!! This blew my mind! I was helped by Tigran who was great! I had gone in a while ago to open an account, but did not have a CA driver's license yet (it was in the mail and took forever, but that's another story). I went in a separate time and a very nice woman made an exception and cashed my paycheck since I didn't have any money and CA had STILL not sent my photo DL. The entire staff here is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful! They are upbeat and positive, even though they have to work on a Saturday. I used to work at a bank so I can attest to how annoying some people can be, add to that working on a weekend, I wouldn't be able to do it. This staff NEEDS/DESERVES a raise! So if it has been Saturday I went to do use US bank to deposit my money. The girl told me they have to put on hold in my money about 7 to 8 days.it is veryinteresting. And it is happen only this US Bank inside the Ralphs Store. I don't understand why I have to put my money there next eight days until Dayville transfer. My own money.
