Less then one star…read more I have previously banked at this location before with no issues. I have made large deposits at this location as well. I have been through the drive though many times and have never had any issues. When I went to this branch yesterday to cash a check for some needed cash during my errands the teller shocked me by refusing my request. I was further shocked when the teller accused me of not being the account holder. I showed the teller my ID that is clearly me. I offered my banking cards. None of this evidence seemed to change the attitude of your employees. I was made to feel like a criminal in the bank that I have been using for years. I was hurt and frustrated by their actions. I was also in a hurry with all of the things I had to get done that day. I asked if they could simply deposit my check into my account. This request was also refused. I requested that they just return my check to me and I would cash it at another branch. I was amazed when I was told they would not return my money to me. What right do your employees have to refuse to cash my check, then refuse to deposit my check and then refuse to give the check back to me. What right do they have to tell me that they are keeping my check and will not do any banking services with me. I was in a rush and they decided to hold me up for 40mins to dismiss me and send me away without my check. They gave no opportunity for me to prove that I really was the proper account holder. The story is very detailed and I am very willing to sit down and share this with you. After leaving your branch I contacted my home branch and described my horrible experience. My home branch was as shocked as I was at the way I was treated. When they contacted the Canal branch, the Canal location tried to tell my branch I never showed my ID and this was why they wouldn't cash my check. This was clearly a lie. Why would your bank employees fabricate lies about me when I am a loyal customer just trying to use the services I pay for? This is not something that should be tolerated at any degree. There needs to be light shined on the experience that I had with this banking branch so that no other goes through such a horrible experience. I do not know if they were unable to believe that a young African American woman could hold an account with funds in it or if it was just pure malice. I have been a resident in Pickerington for 15 years and my husband is a respected man working in the Defense industry. I have two lovely children who attend school in the area. Yet yesterday your bank made me feel like a common criminal...and worse made me feel racially profiled! I spoke to several other branching managers about my issue and they all offered me other actions that could have taken place to resolve my issue. This situation should never have played out in the manner I experienced. Going into a bank that I have banked with for years only to be held up for over 45mins to be told that I am not myself while they are holding my driver license with the photo of me in front of there face, along with me providing other banking visa cards issued from within their bank. The tipping factor was that they would not give me my check back. Every branch manager that I spoke to about this said that was unethical. So whatever problem that they decided they had with me that day was wrong!!!!! I want no other person to experience This!!!!! Please contact me to explain the bank's policies and procedures and help my understand why I was made to feel like a criminal in the very bank I chose to deposit my funds in.

Easy in-and-out access: Both parking and drive-thru have plenty to accommodate. This PNC is a stand-alone building. Thus, plenty of parking on the front, street-facing, side. Why does this matter Gwen? Their four drive-thru terminals are on the back side of the building. Soooo, customers never have to worry about pedestrians crossing in front of them, while they wait in line to pull up to the drive-thru banking portals. Confuse you? Yeah, well me too. Anyway... Circle back around, Gwen. Easier access = more inclined for me to use them.!

Ok. I got what I wanted done and the person appointed as " concierge " was very good…read more However... I hate the changes. It's basically a kiosk building. One person to greet you and direct you to a closed small room where you have an "interactive" teller. The lady based in Whitehall was fine but I was just sad at having to scan my Id and talk to a screen. It felt so isolating. Total loss of community feel that I loved so much about Kemba. The interactive teller could not complete the transaction so back to the concierge, I went to stand behind one person. Three people were behind me. It felt like the grocery store bank of self checkout where one unfortunate employee is stuck dealing with all the customers. Very sad.

They don't float your deposited paychecks and often have same day access. Car and home equity loans have lower rates. You can easily transfer funds between accounts to pay bills. The one annoying thing they do is offer free $1000 (garbage imo) disability insurance from an outside company so they can advertise to you for more insurance.

I must have done it at least 10 times in the past. When I could recall did I left it in the machine I would think to myself, "that's alright. I'll just go to the bank tomorrow, show them my ID to verify that it's my card, and get it back." This time was an exception. I went with conventional wisdom and decided to call Key Bank's customer service at the very instant I realized the card was stuck in the machine. Because many things were linked to that card and I knew where I misplaced it, it was unnecessary to have a new card reissued or permanently deactivate the card. I agreed with the customer service representative to put a temporary block on the card because I had so many things linked to the debit card and if I had one reissued it would be like starting all over again. As usual, my plan was to return the bank the following day, show them a photo ID, and be out the door with my debit card. I arrived at the Main and Springville branch at around 3:45 relieved I contacted customer service the previous day that would come in to pick up the card. I told the teller my name as I reach into my bag to pull out my ID, but to no avail she informed me it was already destroyed and they would have to have a new one issued. I was so infuriated, the Amherst Police Department called to ask if I was alright. I probably would have been better off not call calling them and just asking for my card the next day. I have a new slogan for "Key Bank: back-stabbing customer service you can distrust." Effective next week, I'm closing my all my accounts with Key and going to another bank. I have had nothing but a great experience with Key Bank in New Albany, OH. The tellers are always…read morehelpful and even though my visits are not consistent, they remember me. From a customer service perspective, they are phenomenal. It is very rare to find a banking establishment that interacts with their customers in such a personable and humble way. The management is never to busy to meet with me--even if it is something that does not necessarily warrant their time and a teller could help with. Other banks I have dealt with are much less customer service oriented and I sometimes feel like I am just another account number on an assembly line. By this I am talking about tellers who seem like it is a hassle for them to take another customer or when you get to the back of a huge line and there is one teller helping while 2 or 3 employees are in the back just having a chat. By no means am I a high maintenance customer, but I get a little irritated when other banks' tellers have a naturally defensive attitude toward customers they are helping and are snippy with their explanations of policies, etc. I have never felt that vibe during any of my visits to Key Bank in New Albany. The tellers and management are always helpful in explaining policies and directing me the right way when setting up accounts, etc. (even if what they are telling me equals them getting less money from me in fees, etc.). On multiple occasions I have seen employees at Key come up from their lunch break in the back to help with a long line. They have consistently gone out of their way to provide me with an excellent banking experience even if it means my satisfaction comes before the fine print corporate policies. I would recommend taking your business there in a heartbeat. The only negative I would have to address is their hours of operation. Unfortunately, they are not open on Saturdays, which is a bit of an inconvenience--as that is usually the day I try to get banking and other tasks done because I am busy with work M-F.
