The teller Nancy seemed a bit flustered, initially would not let me cash my check and told me close the account first. I insisted I wanted the cash out and would then close the account with a personal banker. She then asked me for a debit card pin despite the fact I had a check and a drivers license already out because it would be easier for her to look up the account. On principle I don't give out any private information I am not required to. Eventually she gave me the cash, in a disordered fashion, and told me to come back another day to close the account. I said, I'm going to do this today. Five minutes later I am just a former customer. As a former bank teller, I largely think that tellers are unnecessary (ATMs and online access can do pretty much everything) unless they are excellent at their job. This Chase just seemed okay.

She directed us to Chris Hushek a Universal Banker who greeted us and made us feel very welcome. We were immediately impressed by him and he gave us his full attention as we discussed the reason for our visit. We not only opened a CD but then also opened a primary savings acct. and a checking account. Okay, in general credit unions and savings and loans are better than the big banks for fees, service, and integrity. Even among credit unions, I find Educators to be better than the others because of the number of branches in the area and the helpful friendly workers. Even among the Educators credit union branches, I find this one to be better because it's roomy, I never have to wait long, parking is easy. As with the other Educators Credit Unions branches there's complimentary coffee. Educators helped me with a bathroom remodel loan, and two car loans. I've had problem free checking and savings accounts for years and they've never crashed my nation's economy.

Mwahahaha…read more This is a pretty popular bank in the Milwaukee area and this is a fancy new location of it at the mall at Glendale. It's a little hard to figure out where it is cuz it's part of a big complex of different buildings and shops including Trader Joes. Having said that's not bad and not nearly as much of a rip-off as some of the major National Banks are. But I would still prefer a little Local Credit Union to this place.
