DO NOT BANK HERE!!!! My deposited almost $500 into an atm on Saturday, atm glitched out and ate my money, i didn't get it back and it never went into my account. I went into the West Clay branch on Monday, i was told that the money should be in my account by the end of the day. it wasn't. Went back on Wednesday, told the same thing. still don't have my money. Now it's Friday and i went in and i was told it could take up to ten days to get my money back. This is my rent. Now i cannot pay my rent and im screwed. As soon as i get my money back im cutting all ties with US Bank. 0/10 dont recommend unless you want your money stolen. read more

Five or six months ago, I had my reasons for helping my family out to find a bank here and in Southern California. After my mom was out of commission due to her triple overdosed or triple OD'd, fainted and passed out on me when her ulcer ruptured when she spouted and coughing blood right in front of me. This why I'm looking for another bank these people made me come from out the Dr-thru for $2000 measley dollars. They're very rude and made up a lie saying that I had to come in. So they can verify me there's no difference from the drive thru I gave them the same information so what was the difference. I guess when you're skin is brown you're not who you say you are from the Drive Thru. I hate U s Bank their racist and make up rules as they go. read more

It turns out that the bank I normally used in New Orleans (Capital One) doesn't have locations in the St. Louis area. This wasn't really a problem other than wanting to be able to make a deposit of cash/check or using an ATM without paying tons of fees. So, I decided it would be a good idea to open an account with a local bank to take care of just those problems. Since I work normal office hours I had to visit on a Saturday morning. Despite there being few people in the lobby or the waiting area I still had long wait, about 45 minutes to talk to a banker. When I finally sat down with someone I explained I wanted a simple savings account just to do deposits, ATM use, and it had to be able to link online to other accounts. The banker helping me didn't quite understand that last bit and didn't know about their own bank's online capabilities. Also they kept trying the hard sell for a checking account, debit card, and credit card. When I opened the account it was explained to me that new accounts (less than a month old) that have large check deposits will not have the full deposit available until the check clears. If I deposit $1000 only $200 will be available for five days as the check clears. That isn't really a problem. A week later I deposited a large check, like more than the size of a paycheck. That weekend I went to get some cash from the ATM only to find every transaction rejected. I tried going online to see what was wrong and found my online account locked. Was I the victim of identity theft? I called the number on the screen and when I finally talked to a human I was informed I needed to talk to the Fraud department! Of course, they're only open on a weekday. Two days later I'm on the phone and find out that rather than only making a portion of my deposit available my entire account was frozen for ten days. That's right, because I decided to deposit money into my account EVERYTHING i had with the bank was frozen for ten business days. Good thing I didn't rely on a debit card or use their online bill pay. First chance I got I closed my account and moved to another bank. read more

Continued from previous post......... this bank was also very controlling during Covid. Had the same kind of issues. When other banks were open and just letting people walk in, this bank wouldn't. You had to make an appointment for everything....even when other banks were fully open. The lines of cars at the drive up were around the building, but they didn't care. They just do not want to deal with customers. They do not have the necessary skills to deal with customers. What is truly the problem here is attitude. From the top down, their attitude is the customer means nothing. Everything is for their own convenience and not for the convenience of the customer. Even before Covid, when you walked in the bank there were people sitting at desks playing on their phones while ignoring customers. It's just a truly awful bank. I handle my parents affairs here unfortunately but will be moving all of their money out of this one. There too many much better options out there for any customer to put up with this kind of juvenile, combative, spiteful and threatening behavior. And when Carol finally got the box open, it was almost 1 o'clock. So I had to take all the contents out of the box to take with me. I did not have time to go through it. I asked for a bag. She said they did not have anything. Which of course you know is BS. This is the level of service you get at this bank. Just read the other reviews on here about this bank. They are awful and their bad attitudes permeate every interaction they have with customers. They relish making it as difficult as possible for customers to get their business done. And if you DARE say a word about it, they'll make it even worse. HORRIBLE! read more

Usually I wouldn't think to write a review about a bank but I feel like this place is such a joke I have to. I have been with US Bank for years and have never had any issues. Since moving to st Charles, however that has changed. I've only actually been inside of this bank twice to speak with a banker, however, both times I was treated very rudely....and it was two different people (older women). Also, they have 2 ATMs outside that seem to rarely work. I have had to go to the US Bank ATM at QT numerous times because neither ATM was functioning. The tellers in the drive through have always been nice, though so there's your silver lining. I will be switching banks soon. read more

If I could do negative stars, I would. Service and explanations are poor, and yes, they can be dismissive of you (us) the customer. US Bank only cares about its profits, and since they are so large, its easier to be dismissive with a customer and hope that they just stay with the bank to avoid all the disruptions that go with changing banks. But if you are considering this bank, just a word of warning....not customer friendly. While I can not prove that they are deceptive, this latest issue has severely irritated me to the extent that I will be moving to another bank for most bank functions, at least with my larger deposits. I made a fairly large deposit, and was used to the 24 hours it take to close. However, this bank, after at first approving the deposit, later revoked it and said it would take 7 days, because, at first it was so large, then later got a letter saying they were doing this to protect the bank and me,since they had reason that this check, from another bank might have i suffice to funds. This was from an estate, and a similar sized check went to three other people...and those folks were fortunate because they did not bank at USBank...as their banks, approved their deposit after the customary 24 hours. So...why does US. Bank do this....well i am only supposing that if they can sit on large checks for 7 days....they make money on their money just like we do....so if they sit on a million dollars, tie it up for 7 days....they make money, at our expense. While I could not prove this, its the only thing that makes any sense. But this is just one example of how this bank operates. Poor service, poor attitudes....one gets the thought the employees do not like the place either. read more
