Helping a customer figure out anything was clearly overtaxing and boring at the same time. Didn't know how to add someone to the account and not knowledgeable at all. I was asking for details on our plan and told, with an incredibly condescending tone, since you're on the BASE plan with no hotspot ATT can throttle your 5G at any time" and I stopped and said hold on we don't have any hotspot... Then Ryan looked closer into it and said oh I guess 5 GB. That's a pretty significant difference. There were two other questions that came up like this with not being able to get a straight answer, while I was clearly annoying Ryan by even asking for any detail. I realized just cut your losses this place is a waste. If you were looking for somebody to give you answers that are actually accurate about your information. I would 1,000,000% not come to the store.

He told me that would be $74 a month, so the current promotion of 4 lines for $100 a month would be a better option for my family. He told me I'd get an iPhone 15 for free for my main line and any phone for the other 3 lines for 50% off. Also, he said it included Netflix, a $17 value. After I signed I had an issue adding the 3 phones with 50% off and it was not giving me Netflix for free. So I went back 3 times trying to get help adding these phones at a discount. Jonn said there must be an issue with their app and told me to call customer service. I dealt with customer service twice, where the same lady said Jonn had completely lied to me about a fake promotion and that promotion never existed. She said she would review what he said to me with what is actually offered and they would get back to me. She never called back. I called customer service again today and was told there was no promotion ever offered and essentially I was lied to for him to sell 4 lines. I have literally WASTED 10 hours of my time with customer service and 5 trips to this location (an hour round trip) to only find out I have been lied to by a total scammer!!!! We never would have gotten that phone as my son didn't care what he got but I was told it was free so he decided to get it. I'm just glad my daughter wasn't able to upgrade her phone due to a cracked screen or I would have ended up with two phones on my plan to pay for when I was told they would both be free! Bad service and poor treatment makes you feel unimportant, disregarded and powerless in the face of an uncaring, emotionless corporate empire. US cellular is like a poster boy for this treatment, they will do you dirty at every turn and will provide a truly spotty and irregular service map while doing so. US cellular will no doubt be bought out or go out of business eventually, but in the meantime, just stay away, seriously. I spoke to "Lisa" from customer service today and she was argumentative, unhelpful, and dismissive. She made me feel like I was the issue when in reality it was entirely US cellular's problem. Overall, I switched networks and I'm very happy I did so. I'll NEVER switch back to US cellular.
