Worst school ever if you are thinking of coming hear DON'T. The instructor i got was amazing if I could give Mr Paul 5 stars I would but the school is horrible. First they lied to get me here and informed me they had night part time externship site and then halfway through my schooling they informed me that they actually didnt. My class was supposed to be provided with student IDs the first day of class and we weren't given anything and we need these for externship. There was multiple times our instructor tried getting a hold of the heads of school in regards to issues going on and they wouldn't respond to him. Over all us colleges is just sooo disorganized for there weekend class I would not recommend anyone to attend this school. Oh and not to mention they failed to mention that the externship is a 6 month wait list when signing up Emily the enrollment coordinator told me it would be a smooth process and quick. Save yourself some stress and go to another school. read more

Extremely unsatisfied with this school. Emily the admissions counselor makes it seem like the process is going to be no more than 16 weeks and people can have there license in as little as 8 weeks. I graduated the program in June and am still waiting for externships. I contact my externship coordinator Veronica for riverside campus and she forwards my emails to Sahara from Montclair campus. Neither of them answer my questions just keep juggling me off to one another. They fail to mention that externships are being pushed out 6 months. Veronica mentioned that if you are completely paid in full (which I am) finished the class (which I have) and pass the NHA exam ( I have done) and have the vaccinations and medical tests they request from you ( I have done as well) you will be eligible to go to externships and be bumped up the list. I have everything they need to send me to externships and no one is working on riverside campus to send us to these externships. I paid in full up front, I have nothing on my account to be holding me back yet this staff is not doing anything to push me forward. I only have one good thing to say about this establishment and that is that Miss Vicky was a phenomenal teacher. But this school is a scam as of right now. They are taking on more students and not telling them that the process is going to be 6+ months. They are still telling you "as little as 8 to 16 weeks". Had I not been lied to by Emily I wouldn't have done this program because I specifically told her I'd like to have this on my application for nursing that starts in January and she said it would not be a problem. read more

Omg this school really disappointed me in so many ways!!!!! Wished I never spent my money and time at this place the only good thing about us colleges was my teachers they was amazing, great teachers thats the only thing that they got good thanks Miss Vickie & Miss Claudia!! I enrolled the end of January so beyond excited to start my path to a new career and start date was Feb 7th, at orientation they asked if it was ok to push the start date a week later (red flag) but didn't listen So Feb 14th we start school great first day with Miss Vickie & Miss Claudia I thought to myself this is going to turn out amazing in 8 weeks I'm going to be on the path I worked so hard for.... That was NOT the case. As each class passed my classmates, teachers and myself we kept asking for the extern person to please see our class we need answers, but NOTHING... Finally last day and we get a visit and were told oh we're sorry but the extern site you should've had closed our contract and can not send you there ON OUR LAST DAY WHEN WE SHOULD'VE STARTED OUR 2 WEEK EXTERN THAT FOLLOWING WEEK!!! And my state extern had to be scheduled 4 weeks after I finished my course! FYI I PASSED MY TEST WITH A 89%!! And I'm till this day May 27! Still haven't got an answer on my externship and haven't started my career I worked and paid for!! 5 months later and nothing.... And I have not yet received my license I hope they get this together and fulfill our contract knowing they way they run they better not come out with they lost my money. KNOCK ON WOOD!! I would definitely recommend U.S. COLLEGE!!!!! They have the BEST Vet Assisting Program I believe anyone could ever ask for to get full education and only have to do it in 5 weeks!! There are 2 Major fantastic things to love about this course, The first thing would definitely have to be my teacher Ms. Angela, because she is amazing with teaching and definitely showing us first look on what we will be doing in the field. I most definitely LOVE that every Wednesday we get to bring our pets in and other classes can too, so we can examine them and take vitals. The second thing would be going to Animal Practices to get FULL HANDS ON TRAINING!!! I don't believe any other school would ever offer such a great experience for anyone like this program! Anyone who dreams of working in a field with animals should definitely come to U.S. COLLEGES to get some great education. read more

I was told I would have help with job placement and continued education both were false and false the only info I ever get from here is to go online for a lot of questions that the school should be able to provide considering that these are there programs. I attended and did receive licensure but the school did not fulfill everything that is in their own contract I am highly disappointed. If I could give less stars this school robbed me of my time and money I should have went somewhere else I also had to pay money on top of what was in my contract because they did not cover everything that said was included yet again lied in their own contract read more

I'm very disappointed in this school for couple reasons there's pros and cons to it just like everything else in this world! Don't think it's just going to be a piece a cake, no you have to put in your time and dedication into too. By far I had the most amazing experience because of my instructor Miss.Claudia!! She is very reasonable and reliable when it comes to phlebotomy. She's thought me everything I need to know between the school and the real world. I'm looking forward into my career! When I first stepped into class I was so scared and shy not only did I not know what I was doing but Miss.Claudia helped me over come my fear and now I can't wait to be a licensed phlebotomist!!!! read more

I was recommended by a long time ago graduate. Came by one day last year to check out the campus in Riverside. From the very start of walking in I was greeted with a smile and attended quickly. First thing I noticed was the friendly staff making it inviting, the cleanliness and the passion all employees had. I ended up doing the weekend phlebotomy course and graduated. Had a amazing experience at my externship at Kaiser. Through the whole course ALL STAFF were there for you every step of the way. After graduating and passing my NHA was the waiting process for the actual CA CPT 1 license. Almost everyday I would hear from career services with awesome job opportunities and such a huge helping hand with resumes and interviews. There are so many good things to say about this school, I looked at plenty of locations before I came here. I'm so glad my final choice was to go to US Colleges would totally recommend to anyone getting into phlebotomy, it truly was work every dollar spent. This school such a joke. They'll say what you want to hear to get you enrolled, but when it comes to actually finishing the course, forget it. You're on your own. Career services is completely disorganized. No help with my resume from them. My instructor helped me, not career services. When I finally had a nice resume, career services was sending out my draft, not the finished product. Let me just say, I have been out of class almost 3 months, and still have not been sent out to externship. I was also receiving collections emails from the accounting department when I was paid a month in advance. That's professional. Also, every other week, there was no class for one of 2 days. What the hell is that about? I could go on and on about my crappy experience here, and youd probably here the same thing from half my classmates. Complete waste of my money, And time. I wouldn't recommend this school to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

The school is horrible my teachers was great. The ex director Teresa constantly lie to me and vocational rehabilitation. New director is not helpful. I did the phlebotomy course in May 2013 and got my license in November because the state and vocational rehabilitation got involved. The staff lie and gave us so much wrong information and they try to convince my class to go on yelp and Facebook to give good review and exchange for Starbucks give cards. Good schools don't do things like that. Please don't wast you money and time. read more

This school is all about the money I get them calling me numerous times before I'm even suppose to be paying it's so annoying that they have to "remind" me every Month they stress me out so much with there phone calls honestly I don't recommend this school . And when u r ready to take the test they will never call u, so good luck they only call for money but not take make appointments for state test or externship dates!!! read more

Currently attending for the Phlebotomy course and I am having so much fun and learning so much! Ms. Claudia is an awesome teacher who makes sure that you understand everything she is teaching. Ms. Claudia watches your draws and makes sure everything you're doing is correct! The only good thing here in this school is the instructor Claudia!!! She is by far the BEST instructor in this school. She is an amazing educator, she has patience, she answers all the question needed in regards to phlebotomy. She has helped me so much and has made me such a good phlebotomist. This place is a joke, I went to 2 classes for phlebotomy and absolutely hated it and hated the teacher Ms. Claudia, called the school right away to tell them I want to try a different course talked to the accounting manager ken about a refund since I only attended two days of class, he said no problem it needs to be sent to corporate and then they will mail me my refund, it has been a month and I haven't received anything, called the school and left two voicemails and have not heard anything back. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, yes the courses are cheap but probably cheap for a reason. read more

I don't trust this school, too bad my teacher the phlebotomy class miss Vickie was amazing and I really enjoyed the class. However, I applied state exam my own and passed it. The school official told me that if I apply the state exam my own, the school will reimburse the exam fee of $100.00. I attached my receipt for 2 mounts ago and I still do not get my money back. I contacted the school administration for 3 times but nothing happens and eventually they are ignoring my email. I am so frustrated and thinking filing a complain appropriate government agency and more. I know only $100.00, but they promised reimburse me. So U.S COLLEGES, GIVE MY MONEY BACK !!! read more

Took the phlebotomy cpt class with Ms. Vickie, who is knowledgable & completely hands on. She made the lecture part in class & chapters very easy for me to understand. My friend who is also a phlebotomist recommended this course to & praised how great it was & she was pretty dead on. For sure recommending this class to anyone who wants to get their phlebotomist license! Plus if anyone else is suffering from student loan debt just like myself from a crummy school, they work so well with you on payment plans! read more

This place is a joke! We sat in class for most of the day reading aloud from the textbook to each other and watching old videos. We were lucky to get more than an hour or so a day in the lab. I have been trying to follow up after completing the course requirements and passing the National test with the highest score in my group on receiving my certificate and every time I talk to someone in the front offices I get a different story. I have been lied to and not given accurate information from several different staff members. Don't go here if you need to get a job soon, they don't tell you that it can take up to six months after you finish the school to even get your paperwork and license needed to start applying for work. read more

the best thing about this school is our teacher Vickie Holden...very knowledgeable and she has a heart for everyone especially to those who wanted to help themselves. if not for her I wouldn't have finished the course,given the fact that the other staffs seem like they don't even know what the scope of their job is. she encouraged us to do better and always give our best. even upto now,she checks on us to make sure that everything is getting processed correctly even though she needs to get out of her way to do it (and it is not part of her job). i just hope that she will be given some sort of a recognition since she makes up for the shortcomings of this school and the rest of the staff. read more

I would like to express the wonderful experience I had attending U.S. Colleges. I first off heard of U.S. Colleges by going to Kaiser to get some blood work done and there was an extern drawing my blood and I expressed my interest in studying Phlebotomy, the supervisor stepped in and handed me a brochure. Little did I know this was the beginning of a new future for me. I made an appointment met with Cecilia which was amazing she was very detailed about how the program worked no hidden clauses or anything. I completed my program being one of the top students in my class, passed my NCCT on the first try, went to extern and then met with my Career advisor Sherry who was so dedicated to meeting my needs in finding a job opportunity for me. She took the time to get to know me and helped me look for job opportunities. I'm am beyond Greatful for her because thanks to her I have landed an unimaginable job opportunity. I've even referred a friend who will be starting soon. read more

Where do I began . first of all it was very easy to enroll in this school . love the teacher ms. Vicki but when I graduated from the CPT1 program and had to deal with the administration and placement for externship that was a nightmare ! First off I waited 3months to be place for extern if I didn't call the site myself I would still be waiting today for a site . Then I'm sent to the site without a badge to ID me as a CPT 1 student . after finishing that I applied for my license for state . well as of today I'm still waiting for that to come . I would of had my license sooner but the school just sent my documents off to state about a week ago . remind u I applied n august . yeah ! This school is beyond horrible , disfunctional , and straight out liars !!! Corporate is a joke as well . Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time , money and energy here . either go to the other us college campuses or better yet just find a different school all together ! read more
