No matter how you instruct businesses to send packages, using both a PO Box # and a street address, they can get it wrong. We don't have street delivery, so I always use both (not knowing if shipper is shipping USPS or UPS). I just found out a part (that I NEED) was delivered to Chelan, using only my street address. Instead of just looking at the business name on the package, they sent it back-to California. I'm not sure what takes more time for them; looking at the name or going thru the process of returning it? Now I'm out the part and have to reorder & my customer is without a car. I've heard many complaints about this in the area, just not sure about the process. Maybe I should sign up for street delivery? I'm right in town--oh wait, there is a lack of mail carriers......................

I saw the driver drive by my house twice and did not stop instead they left a slip in my mailbox stating it was the first attempt and to pick up at the post office instead. Mom went to apply for a passport for her first time (in August) and the passport lady sent the (not…read moreaccepted) birth certificate with the application in, weeks later the passport processing place let her know that it was not an acceptable form of birth certificate and that she would need to mail out an original. It is now almost October, and we have had to pay $165 for the application, $80 to expedite, $40 worth of expedited mailing documents ($285) total for the passport that should have arrived by now for $165 if applied for properly by this post office. We leave in a little over two weeks, we have no idea if we are going to get it in time. ALL of this was preventable if the lady did the job she IS BEING PAID to do, correctly. I'd be happy to take this down if they do the right thing and make an effort to at least provide a partial reimbursement for the mistakes made on their end.

I've left notes on redeliveries to leave the packages over the gate and they don't. Instead I get a message that states there was something wrong with the address on the package and they either send it back or take another two weeks to deliver. Tried picking up at the post office but it's always a battle between this office and the one in North Bend, they constantly blame each other. Honestly, at this point I just believe it's sheer laziness.
