This is the 2nd time I have used them to move me. Once across town and now out of state. Both…read moretimes, they arrived on time, were very careful with my things - almost over careful, and came in on the price quoted or even less. This time they decided to do the move in just 1 day so I would have my bed to sleep on instead of packing and driving the 200 miles then delivering the next morning. Careful to put down walking pads to protect new carpet and even padded the front door and frame to protect it. Gladly placed everything were asked. It took them to almost 9, but finished. Funny thing was each time there was a former student of mine on the crew. They were happy to see me and glad to help me move. Nice thing about being in education is being remembered with a smile even if you were one of the mean teachers. Of course, EBS never could have said that, but I proudly do. Keepimg legacy alive.

Our move from St. Louis to Ypsilanti, MI in August 2025 was a mixed bag. Hard to say if I would…read morerecommend them. We did 90% of the packing ourselves. The positives include: 1. A thorough review of the contents to be moved versus the cursory review by competitors. 2.A competitive price. 3.Our things were moved in dedicated trucks and not mixed in with other people's stuff. 4. Honestly about damages: a table literally fell apart during packing and the crew pointed it out to me rather than concealing it. 5. No high pressure sales tactics. 6. The guys were patient with my wife repositioning furniture at the destination. 7. Nothing was broken although we had quite a few minor dings in furniture. 8. Crews showed up on time at both ends of the trip. Negatives include: 1.No formal acknowledgement of payment. They were almost offensively anxious to get the final payment even though the third and final truck had not arrived. 2. Loss of focus at the end of the day: We did a walkthrough at the end of the loading process. Every time we found something that needed to go into the truck, the guy leading the walkthrough took it out, chatted with the guys on the truck, and then we would lose our place. This resulted in a few things being left behind. At delivery, the guys took down a door to get furniture into the basement but never put it up again. They also left a moving blanket and personal items belonging to one of the guys. The items were eventually restored to their owner. 3. Not mentioning messes or problems. After the truck left I found that one of our toilets was plugged with toilet paper, paper towels, and human waste from someone that was apparently ill. Fortunately, I found the problem and was able to unplug the toilet and clean things up so this mess was not left for our cleaning crew. I think I would have responded calmly to this if I had been told about it. I can appreciate that it would have been embarrassing to report this to me. I'm human too.

They gave us a completely false time frame to pack and move, rather…read morethan 4-5 hours it was 12 hours on the first day with 1/3 of the house left behind then 3 hours two days later. The broke numerous items, one of the four movers quit midway through the first day and wasn't replaced, adding to the total hours. Two of them were on their first day and had no idea how to pack. A single saucer had two feet of paper wrapping. They added things from different rooms to boxes, so a toaster in the box with the bedding, etc. They broke two things, gouged the stairs, stole a bottle of pain killers, asked if they could have one of our personal items, and left a bunch of stuff at the old house we had to hire a separate hauler to move. Do not hire them--it was a complete disaster and mismanaged from beginning to end.
