They offered me a time that worked for MY schedule (within their working hours) and quoted $100 less than Apple. In addition, they offer pickup and drop-off! The owner messaged me himself and came to pick up my phone so I could keep my work-from-home meeting. Within an hour, I was at the store picking up my phone. Case repaired and no hidden fees, just the agreed-upon price! I would definitely use New Era again, but hopefully not too soon....

As it was a Friday night, I reached out to a few places on Yelp and New Era was the only place that responded right away. The Doctor and I were scheduled to leave town the following week and I was trying to get the phone repair ASAP to take with me. Juan was very responsive and took care of me right away. The repair looked amazing with the screen working as intended. Unfortunately the damage was not just with the screen, but far more extensive than initally thought. Not sure what happened during that fall, but the phone would not stay connected to network, even though my second phone as well as The Doctor/Queen's were fine. I ended up needing another phone, which was needed as I wanted something smaller for going into my smaller Louis Vuittons. But the work that Juan did was amazing and fast, and the price was just right. I am going to take in my HP for a rehaul, just haven't had the time to do so yet. But I will be taking it as well as some other ones in for additional memory, etc. to improve the performance.

I was told to leave the phone charging for several hours and not to use it, which already seemed unusual, but I followed the instructions. The next morning (4/8/26), the phone would not turn on at all. I went back to the shop right when the listed opening time said they would be open, but the store was closed. I ended up waiting and coming back multiple times, and the business did not open until after 2 PM. This made it very difficult to get timely help. When I finally spoke with the technician, he examined the phone and told me that there had been a short circuit. However, he did not take responsibility for the issue and instead tried to explain it in a way that suggested it wasn't related to the repair. I requested a refund for the battery replacement service since the phone was no longer working after the visit. Initially, there was resistance, but I was eventually refunded $66. Overall, the experience involved poor communication, long delays in opening hours, and a repair that resulted in my phone no longer functioning. I ultimately had to replace my phone.
