Updated: My card was double charged for our repair (the cashier swiped the card said it didn't go through, swiped again -- but both went through) and I've called multiple times to get this resolved. The first time I was promised a call within 2 weeks, so I waited patiently and now can't get anyone to answer the phone or return my messages. I doubt this is malicious by any means and they're trying to hustle me, but... this is a pretty costly mistake and I want my money back. Shouldn't be this difficult. read more

I filed a claim to have my cell phone screen repaired as I thought it was cracked. The claim service sent me to this particular repair service as it was one of the closest to where I live. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in to find out that the only problem was that my screen protector was cracked. I wish I was observant enough to give you the name of the man I talked to as he was super nice and helpful. We found out about all the services they can provide and the products they sell. This place has friendly people. The store has some hard to find parts in stock. I was going to have them replace my Google Pixel 5 battery, but the price in store was nearly twice the average price quoted online. $129.99 is over $100 labor to replace a $10 part (which sells for $29.99 retail). I am all about paying for quality work, but paying $150/hour for a routine, 30-45 minute replacement is a bit much. Lesson - make sure to call the actual store first, as the price differential between what you see online and what the store charges can be a bit steep. read more

I needed my iPhone 12 Pro Max's top left camera fixed. ATT's protection plan, that I pay monthly, provided 1 option: new phone required/repair not available. This is a required deductible of over two hundred bucks under ATT's monthly insurance plan. uBreakiFix isolated my issue, repaired in one day for more than half of ATT's crazy mandatory deductible requirement. *ATT's zero dollars out of pocket only applies to a cracked screen* of which I failed to read. Yet I specifically told him what was broke, what kind of phone, how far I was driving and it was also in the claim. It's people like this Noah fool - who sits in the backroom talking on the phone all day - why the stores have been closing down! He had the audacity to tell me "get out of my store", when I was making valid points and never once raised my voice! read more

If you have a cell phone issue that needs fixed, the folks at uBreakiFix in Greenwood are the BEST! Not only did they fix my phone screen / LCD issue (which had been declared "unfixable" by another repair shop) , but their customer service was outstanding! They kept me posted as to what was happening, their prices are more than fair, (you pay nothing in the unlikely event that they can't fix it) and will inform you beforehand if you have an older phone which you might be better off just replacing anyway. I was sent to this location through a insurance claim with asurion. After them having my phone for 5.5 hours (they said it would take about 2) I went to pick it up and they told me they could not fix it. They said it was a issue with their computer software and the samsung s10 plus. Phone worked fine when I dropped it off it just had a crack along left edge I want to get fixed before it got worse. Now the phone wont even turn on and i have to get a replacement device from Asurion to replace the phone they broke while trying to fix a screen. Will never use this company again. If I could give a zero stars I would my screen crack a day after I got it repaired. Took it back in and they said I dropped it and I didn't. Wouldn't use warranty to fix it but would make me pay half to fix it. Crappiest place of all time!!! My Samsung Galaxy S8+ was getting an error message: "Moisture detected in charging port error" and I could not charge the phone through the charging port. My wife had an identical problem with her Galaxy S8 about two weeks before and she had her phone repaired at uBreakiFix. I took my phone to the store and explained my problem. They told me that Samsung would not let them fix my phone. I told them that they had repaired my wife's phone with an identical problem a few weeks earlier but they turned me away. I went to the cell phone store to buy a new phone. When I mentioned my problem to the sales lady, she told me that there was a cell phone repair shop in Castleton that could fix any phone. I took my phone to the other repair shop. They examined it and found no moisture damage. They repaired the charging port and charged me $15 less than uBreakiFix charged my wife to fix her phone.
