I brought my iPhone in for a simple screen repair. At the time of repair, the phone was locked, so I was unable to fully test it before leaving. Once I finally regained access, the phone displayed warnings that it did not recognize the replacement part and required a software update. Despite those issues, I still had access to my photos, apps, and personal data. The phone was functioning, even though there were clear problems after the repair. I returned to the store specifically because those issues appeared immediately after their work. Instead of fixing the problem, I left with a phone that was significantly worse than when I arrived. After their second attempt, the phone became completely unusable and was stuck on the restore screen. I lost access to everything. I then took the phone to Apple. One of the first questions they asked was whether the device had recently been repaired. After attempting to restore it on multiple computers, they informed me that the repair was the likely cause of the failure. What frustrates me most is that the company's solution is to offer a refund for the repair. A refund does not make me whole. I did not bring them a dead phone. I brought them a phone with a broken screen. I left with a phone that could no longer be used at all. The issue is not the cost of the repair. The issue is that I now need to replace an entire phone because of a repair that went wrong. Offering to refund the repair charge ignores the much larger loss that their work caused. I understand that repair shops have liability waivers. That does not change the fact that I entrusted them with a functioning device, paid for a repair, and ended up with a phone that Apple could not recover. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering a repair here think carefully before handing over their device. read more

At first I brought my laptop in with a bent base panel and the computer would not turn on. They were very nice and told me that it would be fixed within 3-5 days since the parts would arrive within that time. On the 5th day I called and they said it would be done in two days. I called again on the second day and asked for a status update, and they said they would work on it that night and hadn't started. This was Thursday. That SATURDAY, a week and a half after they originally said it would be fixed, I was called in to pick it up. I picked it up, and went home to only discover that it would not connect to the Wi-Fi, even though the other devices around me connected just fine. I called AGAIN about this issue, and they said that they saw that the Wi-Fi cables in my computer had been disconnected but they didn't fix it. Mind you, the Wi-Fi had worked perfectly fine before I brought it in. I was frustrated by this point, and asked why the computer had been returned to me with them KNOWING it would not work. They said they would have fixed it if my password was in their system and said it was not, although I had definitely given it to the man at the front desk. They ended up telling me I needed to come all the way back to the store, which was a good 30 minutes away from me, so it could be fixed again. I was thankfully not charged for this, but now there are small parts of the metal peeling away from the computer and my fingerprint no longer works to unlock it or access my passwords, but I was not about to go back to this place a third time. I brought my laptop in almost three weeks ago, and they fixed my initial problems (broken fan and keyboard replacement), but It took nearly a week for the parts to come in due to delay. But I put that aside due to the coming storms. Fast forward, not even a day later, my laptop was experiencing random shutdowns or "black screens." I headed in on Friday, turned in my laptop, and the guy said they'd have the situation figured out by the end of the weekend. (even though I was hoping to have my laptop back the day after cause I have assignments due CAUSE IM A COLLEGE STUDENT) I called Sunday just to be told they haven't looked at it yet, which is when I flipped my lid. After which, they said they'd get it done. Mind you, they only called to update me when they needed the pin to my laptop. Never once did they call me or text me when my laptop was finished or repaired. Again, I called the following Monday (today) and was told it was repaired. And guess what happens when I open a game and run it. IT POWERED OFF AGAIN. I'm so done... I don't even care if I have to pay someone else to fix their mistake. I just want my laptop fixed once and for all. Even though they fixed the initial problem, they caused another one, and to add insult to injury, they were gonna make me wait without my laptop for another 2-3 days just to figure out the problem (that wasn't even fixed). Made an appointment for 11:00 and was advised a tech wouldn't be there until noon and I would have to leave the phone for 7 hours to fix a cracked screen, because there were 5 phones ahead of me. The manager eventually said a tech didn't show up. Quoted me $200. I went to another location and it was completed in 30 minutes for $150. I got a call the next day from this location saying that my phone was ready to be picked up. Just under a year ago, I took my MacBook Pro to this location to fix a problem with the batter. Last week, the battery was dead and wouldn't charge. I needed yet another replacement. I mentioned this when I dropped it off, and they offered a 10% discount. They asked for an administrator account to do their work, so I created one called Support and logged out of my account. Today I picked up my MBP and brought it home. It came up right away to my profile, not the Support profile. It seems that someone there was snooping in my profile. When I called back to ask why they were in my profile, the person got immediately defensive and said he couldn't change the past, that someone was using my profile to test the system, etc. Why would someone need my profile instead of the Support profile I created for them? After all, it had admin privileges. There was no apology or any interest that someone there is snooping around. He claims they all sign NDA forms. which means nothing if the guys are still snooping through your system. I don't trust them and I won't be back. Run from this location...they have bad reviews for a reason. I wish I would have listened to the reviews before taking my device there. I filed a claim with my asurion home plus insurance to repair the broken screen on my iPad Air 3rd generation. The screen was still fully functional and we were still able to use the iPad but the broken glass was a problem. So we brought the iPad to the asurion u-break-I-fix location in Lake Mary. After the repair, the iPad no longer worked. I couldn't even type my password to get into the iPad. They apologized and said they would make it a priority to fix it, it's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything from them. So I contacted my insurance about it. They said that a second repair wasn't filed with them and that's what usually needs to happen before the store can fix and repair mistakes from an initial repair. I asked Why didn't the guy at the shop initiate this step if that's what needed to happen in order to Start the 2nd repair? They couldn't answer the question. I asked for a refund for the $100 dollars deductible it cost me and they refunded the deductible. I'm still waiting to receive my iPad though. They even mentioned that if I don't get my iPad back, they would buy me a new one. I'm like, why wouldn't I get my iPad back?!?! I have important things on my device that hasn't been backed up. Worst place to take your devices for repair! You're taking a huge risk using this location for repairs. You've been warned. read more

I showed up for my appointment on Saturday 4 March at 1000, I expected same day service but was told Monday at 5pm I get there at 5.05 and it was not even started (iPad screen repair). They then tell me it will be done maybe tomorrow, in the meantime I hear a speakerphone call in the back of the store with a lady asking for a discount due to a shoddy repair on Saturday. The clerk told me that he didn't know why anyone would give me a pickup time as they can't guarantee completion. I asked if he could do it now- no was the answer,don't make appointments and promises you can't keep. By the way the store could do with a sweep of a broom. They did a good job, but was suppose to be done by Fri and wasn't ready until the following Tues. I might have gone elsewhere as I dropped it off on Monday, had I known at that point. There is a tiny tiny sliver of leftover glass under the new screen; can't hurt, but it is permanent. Also, you'd think they'd go the extra mile and charge the iPad, plus wipe it clean. Our iPad is a bit dirty from our 9-year old, but nothing a wipe couldn't hurt. More than that, a charge would really finish the job. Ours was completely dead. It's that extra mile that gets 5 stars. read more

Brought my ipad to fix the touch screen and replace battery for laptop , they said it take 2 days to fix ipad and one week for laptop ( since they need to order battery ) . I came back 3 days later it wasn't done due to short staff , then oneweek later I called to check the status but nobody answered , when I showed up they said ipad couldn't fix !!! Now they still waiting new batter to replace for laptop, probably will be done in next couple days ?! 2 weeks gone by I heard no update from them , they never pick up the phone either!!! when I showed up they simply said battery not arrive yet ??? I paid $180 for a screen repair. My iphone screen was responsive but had no display. They said they would call and let me know what the issue was before fixing. They called to tell me the repair was done. At the store I asked why they did not call to ask first and they lied and said they "couldnt because they were fixing my phone but i clearly took their call on my iwatch. then they lied again and said they attempted" when they had clearly called me. I paid anyways and an hour later my screen was popping off... glue was leaking out. I had it repaired again, same issue snd this time it was obvious they had gone through my pictures.... Asked for a refund and was rejected. These people are liars and useless. Go anywhere else. read more
