Do not waste your money here. Replaced the back of my iphone for $300 with a new cheaper material. The next day the phone cracks again. Went in to try to work with them on a way to share a repair cost, and the best they could do was 20%, even though the material used was part of the issue. I am so upset! I brought my phone in for repair. Initially, I was told I needed a new screen, and it was noted that there was a small crack on the bottom of the back of my iPhone. Despite this, I was assured the back screen didn't require replacement. When I arrived to pick up my phone, I discovered that the back of the phone was now halfway cracked with pieces of glass missing! Morgan, was on break, so I another employee tried to tell me it was dirt! When she couldn't wipe it away she went to get him, he came out and admitted that the glass had broken because he had to snap the front screen on!. He attempted to repair it by using Regular Tape and suggested to buy a screen on Amazon to fix it. Then charged me $163.49! Now the back glass is completely broken. This situation has left me deeply dissatisfied and unsure about the integrity of the repair done on my phone. SAVE YOUR MONEY DON'T GET YOUR PHONE REPAIRED HERE!!! read more

Brought a Pixel 3a in to have the screen repaired. Cost $150 (1/2 the price of a new phone) and took a few hours to complete. Little over 12 hours later a crack developed under the surface of the screen and the display quit working. The phone wasn't dropped, no damage on the external screen (entire thing is smooth to the touch) and it looks like a pressure crack, most likely from a misaligned screen replacement. Took it back to the store and they claimed it was our fault and we would have to pay (with a discount) to get it fixed... again. What kind of racket is this? Not satisfied with their service and the salesman's claim of "bring it back if in the next 90 days anything goes wrong the screen and we'll take care of it" doesn't actually mean they'll help the customer. Next time, I'll take it to a legitimate repair company, one that actually takes pride and ownership over their work. Update: We paid to have the screen fixed again, and three days later the screen is separating from the device. Took it into the store and they said it was because the phone frame was bent and they could fix it for another $150 dollars. Can you believe this company? WARNING!! If I could give ZERO STARS I would. I took my computer in for a new battery. It should have taken 3 hours. THEY BROKE MY COMPUTER AND TOOK 6 WEEKS TO FIX IT. During the 6 weeks there was an extreme lack of communication. I had to call them 95% of the time to find out what was going on. Since the main person I was working with quit putting notes in the system after the second week it made it even more difficult to find out what was happening. Even though the main person I was working with said he gave me a refund in the first week, he didn't, they kept my money for the whole 6 weeks. I suspect I wouldn't have gotten it back at all except I discovered in the 5th week that I knew the owners mother. I have 7 pages of notes from every interaction with this company so I can't put all that here. And they lost all my data even though they have 2 posters in the store about how they can recover any data. JUST DON'T GO HERE. read more

Update and resolution: Last Thursday, I was contacted by my Asurion Case manager, Daniel, and told that the company was going to reimburse me the full cost ($1000) for the iPhone 12 Pro Max that their technicians destroyed. The following day (Friday), I was notified by the East Cobb store that I could come by anytime to pick up the phone (still broken and untouched a second time). I returned to the store today and this is the part that I want to warn possible future customers to this franchise about. I asked for my broke phone back and the guy (Logan) that called me to come and get it, told me that they couldn't release the phone to me and that I was only going to get $500 dollars back. I immediately called Daniel and got him on the phone with Logan. Daniel told him that he had to give me back my phone and that the company (Asurion) had already issued my damages check as of the 15th. Logan still refused the directions from this corporate representative and said that the franchisee left him instructions not to release the phone without first collecting money from me for it. Essentially, I would be buying back my own phone which they themselves destroyed. Daniel then said to Logan that he would talk with the franchisee about this and told me to stay on the line. He put me on a brief hold and then came back after allegedly speaking to the store franchisee. Daniel told me that the franchisee was "adamant" about keeping the phone and that I gave up the rights to it by accepting the reimbursement. At no point did I verbally agree to that nor did I ever sign off on such an agreement, I replied. Daniel then told me that the UBreakIFix website has it in their terms and conditions that in the event such a situation occurs, the company can keep my property. Let me recap what just happened since all of this began. UBreakIFix broke my iPhone in a way that shouldn't happen when all it needed was a screen crack-fix. UBreakIFix didn't apologize for that and just handed me a brick back in return after 4 hours. This was 9 days ago at the time of this review. UBreakIFix's parent company, Asurion, was called by me so that they could pay for the damages. UBreakIFix has me wait 4 days for an answer to that legal demand. UBreakIFix instructs me to take the phone back to the store so that a more qualified technician can look at it and see what happened. He then calls me and says that there is nothing that he can do for the phone. UBreakIFix finally agrees to pay for the damages. UBreakIFix tells me that I can come get the phone that they destroyed, since there's nothing that they can do. UBreakIFix refuses to return the phone to me unless I pay them $500 for the device that I still legally own. This happened just 30 minutes ago. UBreakIFix is not a company that you can trust. I see other 5 star reviews for this East Cobb store and I'm glad that those people were treated correctly. But, in my case, this business showed me that if they want a device bad enough, they will destroy it and claim it as theirs after you fight with them about their mistake (breaking the phone). They didn't break even, today. Their integrity and business ethics have been sold off cheap well before they wrote a 1K check out to me. Zero out of Five stars for this business. All potential customers are urged to steer clear if they value their devices. read more

Don't use this location. Brought an iPad in for a screen replacement. Took 3 days to complete the work. When I picked it up, there were smudges under the new screen and they wanted another 48 hours to correct it. They offered no credit for the inconvenience but instead stated that it was covered under my warranty for the repair. read more

My desktop computer suddenly failed and I took to this vendor for repair. The report I received was the "hard drive" failed and should be repaired. I authorized the repair but I made a mistake about how big of a hard drive I needed (I actually needed a bigger drive). My complaint is not about this. When I couldn't restore my data from an external drive a home technician came and told me I needed a bigger drive. When he installed the bigger drive he noticed that "the drive installed by uBreakiFix was manufactured in 2014," 8 years ago. Would you want to pay for hard drive that was 8 years old? Then he preceded to tell me he could either put the old screen back on or I would need to pay to get another screen. I had a really bad cracked iPhone 7 Plus, the lcd was showing partly black on the screen and glass was falling out of the screen. Morgan was very helpful and I got to price match with a competitor to receive the service for a lower piece. When my phone was finished I found out that my speaker was replaced as well because it was damaged but free of charge because there happened to be an extra one lying around. Overall I'm very pleased with the services, quick and efficient would 100% recommend but hopefully I won't be back anytime soon read more

My mother recently went here to get her phone fixed and had an amazing experience! She had Morgan taking care of her and he was incredibly generous, worked extremely fast, and was so kind-hearted. The fix all in all took less than two minutes (there was a piece of debris blocking her charging port, preventing her from being able to charge her phone) and he didn't charge her just because it was such a tiny fix. So generous and speedy! Definitely the place to go if you need your phone fixed. My mom is ecstatic. I'm sure he saved her at least 59 bucks. :) read more

AVOID!!!! I initially gave uBreakiFix a 5 star rating after they repaired a cracked and flickering screen on my Samsung s8+. However, after only 3 weeks my screen started flickering again and half of my screen was unreadable. Obviously something went wrong with the initial repair, so I took the phone back to the Sandy Plains Road location. After only 3 weeks, the repair warranty was still in effect so I assumed that uBreakiFix would take my phone apart to see what went wrong with the repair. Instead, the staff member inspected the outside of the phone only. He agreed that there were NO signs of damage or misuse, yet refused to honor the repair warranty. Further stating that I may have "unknowingly" bumped the phone against something and even though there was NO evidence of this, he refused to honor the warranty OR further evaluate the initial repair of the phone. The staff member then showed me an example of the part that they replaced and said that a component of that part is most likely what is causing my screen to malfunction. So even though a component that they replaced was most likely the cause of the problem they refused to fix it. The staff member then called the manager and without speaking to me or agreeing to inspect the phone, the manager also stated that the repair warranty would not be honored. After spending more than $300 and hearing that the cause of the problem is most likely a part that they replaced, I expect uBreakiFix to honor their work. read more
