I purchased two C to C phone cables from this business four days ago. I ended up not needing them…read moreand came back two days later with my receipt to return them. The packaging (such that it was) had not been disturbed and they were in the exact selling condition they had been when sold to me. The clerk (I believe he is the owner), told me he "never accepts returns," but grudgingly eventually said he would refund me 75% of the charge, keeping 25% for a restocking fee. I asked where that information would have been given upon purchase. My paper receipt had nothing about it and there was no sign on the wall. He produced a separate paper listing the restocking fee, which had not been shared with me when I purchased the items. He explained tersely that he is a small business and reiterated that he never accepts returns and I should be grateful he was making an exception. So -- be warned -- if you purchase supplies from this business, be aware that he "never accepts returns" and that if he decides to make an exception, he'll retain 25% of the payment. Any physical damages would have to be paid for. Which is reasonable I agree and he fixed my phone. I have a 17 Pro Max the orange one. After he fixed it he told me my "stand by" function will no longer work which I thought was fishy considering I'm paying $200. I bought a new screen privacy screen protector and when placed on my new screen lines appeared as if the screen was rejecting the screen protector. Now these are problems that I noticed immediately they're small and not the end of the world but it's worth mentioning since people are paying. Now back to that 3 month warranty in the case the screen blacks out. I had a gathering with my family so to stay engaged I sit my phone the table. Something I do all the time never been a problem. I wake up the next morning to retrieve it and it won't turn on. My phone will ring , you can feel the vibrations my phone is not broken my screen just blacked out Something That Was Supposed To Be Covered In The Warranty . I call him and he tell me he can not replace my phone if it was damaged by water. The way he can tell or not if it has water damaged is by a strip inside the phone if it's x-color it dry if it's y-color it's been water damaged at some point. I tell him my phone has been wet before I came to him and I'm positive my phone just blacked out. He tells me he would not have sold me the warranty had he known I had previous water damage because it makes the screen more prone to blacking out. WHICH IS TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE. But my problem today is I was not notified of this disclosure until after I've already paid and my screen is already blacked out. This business represented horrible communication and integrity the price is extreme and the product is mediocre. If I pay $200 for a service I expect all the functions of the phone to be there after the service. And if your selling point is your warranty you should be communicating your terms.

They could not guarantee that I would get it in less than a week before my travel time however, I got a call a day after dropping it off that it was ready for pick up and it was a motherboard issue. I was very pleased for the prompt turnaround, and it was extremely cost-effective, and as promised, the diagnostic fee was included in the total cost. Quincy helped me out and he was really great and patient and even waited for me to leave the office so that I could pick it up on the way home from work. Very disappointed with the poor customer service after business receives payment (battery…read morereplacement iPhone and charging port repair) The owner was quick to schedule my battery replacement (15 min after our call he arrived to my home) and completed the repair. HOWEVER the next day, I noticed major issues with the "supposedly" new and "supposedly" OEM battery as it overheated while charging and then discharged very quickly (90% down to 20% in about 3 hours). A new battery shouldn't discharge that quickly and my phone displays "Unverified" on the battery health & charging indicator under battery settings which is clearly a red flag. Called him to resolve and he said that he gets parts from Mobile Sentrix which I noticed it has reviews stating that this wholesaler distributes defective parts (that explains my battery issues). The business owner tried to reassure me that the battery is not defective and that I can buy another one that he will install free of cost (this should've been stated BEFORE the repair, why should I pay for 2 batteries??) We set up an appointment for next day which he ended up rescheduling 5 minutes before our meeting!! (very unprofessional and inconsiderate) and spoke to me with a hostile attitude because I wanted him to honor our appointment. He gave me an ultimatum of "do you want the appointment tomorrow or not?" No apology or "customer satisfaction is paramount" applied here. Part of the problem with his service is that he prefers you pay him via cash, Zelle, etc and unfortunately in the event of an issue you don't get credit card protection. He charges more for credit card (hindsight should've protected myself). I entrusted this business based on the high rating and unfortunately his level of service drastically changed as soon as he received my Zelle payment. Overall this was a frustrating and costly mistake. The business states repeatedly that "Customer satisfaction is paramount" and my experience was that this principle ONLY applies up to the point of payment. The business needs to put more effort into ensuring the SAME level of service and customer satisfaction before and after payment (including cash payment). We agreed to another battery replacement the following week and he decided to block communication my number and not resolve the issue. The business took my money and refused to ensure customer satisfaction, I'm very disappointed and do not recommend this service whatsoever. Here are 6 of the issues I discussed with the business owner (in person) prior to him deciding to block my number and claim that my behavior is not customer "standard": 1. After the business received my nonrefundable payment, I was trying to schedule a resolution to the potential defective battery problem, however the owner spoke to me in a hostile and aggressive manner which CLEARLY demonstrates that customer satisfaction is not the top priority 2. I requested an apology and he did so (why didn't the owner take the initiative beforehand to apologize?) 3. The owner suggested I drive to him for the battery resolution which was unbelievable considering that the business model and expected level of service is that the tech always drives to the customer 5. Told the owner that excellent customer service would be to ask the customer what can we do to make this better? Explore options instead of your way or the highway. Blocking my number and refusing to resolve my battery issue is very unprofessional and completely contradicts your slogan of "customer service is paramount". 6. Based on the high rating I trusted this business and chose to pay cash which unfortunately doesn't provide any protection options in the event of any issues. I will not repeat that mistake.

I don't know about you, but I have always been of the opinion that I would rather gnaw off my right arm than spend time dealing with computers, much less the experts who think I should understand computer systems and programs as well as they do. My faith has been restored, thanks to a referral to Experimac in Sandy Springs, and its owner, Neil. My son's Macbook Air had crashed and the Apple technicians who examined it recommended we send the laptop to Drivesavers for data recovery before attempting any repair. Drivesavers examined the laptop and wanted a minimum of $1900 to just recover the data before any actual repair! After a local PC repair shop recommended we take the laptop to Experimac, and my phonecall to the store was received so cordially, my son and I went to see Neil. From the moment we walked into the store we were treated with respect, (despite immediately volunteering that neither of us have any computer expertise at all) and Neil spent almost 90 minutes with us, not only troubleshooting, but educating us about everything without being demeaning. How refreshing! Neil was also very familiar with Drivesavers and its exorbitant fees and offered several alternate and economical options for both the data recovery and repair, should his initial attempts fail. Lucky for us, Neil's assessment was correct and he not only recovered all of the data and fixed the laptop while we watched, but he only charged us $99 dollars! We are so thankful and appreciative for Neil's gracious customer service and, of course, his phenomenal expertise. We would definitely go here again and recommend it wholeheartedly! I went to the Apple Store Genius Bar to replace my dead hard drive only to learn that my 5 year old MacBook Pro was considered 'vintage' and they would no longer work on it. They sent me to two different places. One of those places was closed on the weekends--quite the wasted trip. The other didn't work on 'vintage' Mac's either but they were kind enough to send me to Experimac in Sandy Springs. What a lucky break. I could not have been happier with the service I received from the moment I walked through the door until I walked out a few hours later with my newly updated/upgraded hard drive. The atmosphere was friendly and supportive from the start. Although I didn't get her name, my first contact was warm and friendly. But even more importantly, Neil Kent, the owner, came over to introduce himself and to get an understanding of how I used my computer. He made sure that I got the right hard drive for my needs based on how I currently use my computer. Think about it...How often do you run into a business owner who actually helps you save money? In addition to installing the hard drive, Experimac also upgraded my system and moved my data free of charge. What started out as a very depressing/frustrating day ended on more than a positive note. I would recommend these guys to anyone and have already to members of my own family and my network of friends. They really are as good as it gets! read more

I needed a 5s screen replaced. Found an ad on craigslist for this business. So the first thing I did was search for reviews. Looked at Yelp and Google and though there were not many, they were all positive. Checked their website and their price to replace my 5s screen was very reasonable. I decided to give them a try. They replaced the screen at the price advertised on their website, and both store owner Neal and repair specialist Belle provided the best customer service and were incredibly nice. Belle ended up doing the repair to my phone and it was perfect and looks like new again, and she was fun to talk to. I will definitely be using them for repairs again, and the store had some nice, used apple products for sale. I can see buying something from them in the future as well. While I was waiting I had time to listen to both Belle and Neal taking phone calls and can not reiterate enough how they treat their customers. Excellent, competent and talked to my level of knowledge, instead of dumbing it down or talking over my head. I called the store in desperate need of fixing my MacBook Pro same day. The owner said no problem and gave me great directions to the store. Once there, he explained that he used to work at the Apple Store and that the diagnosis I got from there may not be accurate. He wanted to diagnose it himself and told me that the diagnosis fee would be applied to the cost of any repair. The prices are reasonable and he dropped everything to work on my laptop while I waited. He discovered additional problems that would have meant that even with the repair Apple had suggested, my computer still wouldn't have functioned well. When my MacBook Pro wouldn't respond, I initially took it to the Apple store, but they couldn't help because it was too old("vintage"). I took my Mac over to Experimac, and I recieved excellent service from both David and Neil. Neil was able to run some diagnostics right in front of me, and then explained in clear detail the pricing, work that would be performed, and best of all that it would be done the same day!!! Neil is knowledgeable and enjoys what he does, and it really shows in how he treats his customers. They also offer Mac user classes and sell used Macs, and I have already recommended Experimac to others, because I had a great experience. I brought it into Neil Kent at Experimac Sandy Springs Today, my upgraded memory and new fast reading hard drive (yes, the data was lost... that was more of my error... but, Neil Kent said after an analysis of my hard drive, it was in the process of failing... so, 190GB saved smoothly. I looked up some places to sell my Macbook and saw this place had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I drove from Alpharetta to Sandy Springs to give this place a shot. Neil was very honest with me about the price he was offering me as my macbook was old and needed a new battery and he also needed to replace the trackpad on my Mac. Experimac Sandy Springs provided great service to me recently. My Mac mini is working great since we added memory and an SSD there. It's better than it was the day I took it out of the box, and I am so much more productive as a result. I had transferred old files to a new Mac. Had major problems. Took it to the place I bought it, they had it for over 5 days and messed it up twice. I took it to Mac company 2 and they said they could fix it overnight, but could not. I really appreciate her for that. Thankfully they did have a kit that met the needs of my phone available. I asked her what the price was going to be, thinking that it would be upwards of $100. To my surprise, it was $50! I asked her what the availability to have the screen fixed was and she told me she could do it now because it would take her at most 45 minutes. I was really shocked! I have had my screen fixed before and it took 24 hours! To further my surprise it actually only ended up taking her about 30 minutes. I do not know what she did or how she did it, but the screen fixe has made my calls clearer and seems to have also made the phone function better. She was even able to tell me after she fixed it whether or not there was any water damage. Color me impressed, but you do not get great customer service like this today. Will definitely be back and recommending people to them!

I received a lot more than a price match to fix a cracked screen (IN UNDER AN HOUR!) for an iPhone 6s. Yes, A PRICE MATCH! Sorry for the shouting, a price match, people! So, we came in for a cracked screen for my daughter's phone and while we chatted, Christine cleaned my phone because I dropped it in some cake batter and it wasn't working so well. She didn't charge me for the roto-rooter. She advised us as the best products to clean your phone with and showed me how. (Pressurized air can from Office Depot) Christine also gave some great advice for money-saving options for using our phones on an international trip. The icing on the cake was that some of the accessories were half off and I got an awesome neon car charger.

If I could give less that 1 star, that would be it. There is…read morea reason that this store has a 0 day warranty policy. They replaced the screen on my Note but immediately another problem developed. They then refused to even try and diagnose. STAY AWAY! !!!!!!!!!!! There are way too many others out here who will do a better job and actually stand behind their work. Its very telling that there are no.positive reviews lately.
