I had issues with my phone charger not staying in the port, and then the charging cord wouldn't go in at all. I looked up cell phone repair and picked these guys due to the Google rating. I took it in, and the guy at the desk greeted me pleasantly and listened to my issue. He said it was most likely due to a build-up of gunk. He proceeded to dig in the port and got some out but still took it to the back for the repair people to look at it. It wasn't but a few minutes and he came out with it and yes it was a buid-up of gunk. The front desk guy oozed at it again and tried it out. All is right with the world now. It was a satisfying experience, and I was treated as I would expect from a business. It's a five-star review cause I got a five-star service. We had a phone company apply a liquid screen to an iPhone 9 SE. Within 48 hours the protective covering was broken. The company that provided the liquid screen did not honor the warranty (Cell Helmet). Fortunately we were insured with Asurion. The tech came to our home and repaired the cell phone screen. So, I hadn't had my morning coffee yet, I was actually preparing it, and shouldn't have been handling a $1000 piece of electronics equipment until after I had some coffee. So of course I dropped my phone face down on the ground in the one un carpeted area at work. It didn't sound catastrophic so I wasn't TOO worried, but lo and behold, it was broken and broken in the way that every touch of the screen was a possible painful papercut. I googled phone screen replacements and I can get my own new screen for around 45 dollars. I can get my own tool set for replacing screens for anywhere from 10-30 bucks, I can just watch a 7 minute video and do it myself!!!! Or I can take it to UBREAKITIFIXIT and have it fixed in a couple hours. Sure it cost a penny (over 10000 pennies) but it got fixed, they were nice, they give a 10% military discount and I have a fixed non finger damaging phone. It does feel like each text is a bit more effort, not sure If I need to adjust something or what. Oh yaa, and you can go online and make your apt, and get a pretty accurate estimate relatively painlessly. read more

These guys had 2 tries to get my phone right - and they failed both times.  The first time there were dead spots on the screen after the replaced the battery. The screen was perfectly fine before they replaced the battery.  So I had to take it back for a screen replacement.  When I picked it up from the screen replacement I immediately noticed that it wasn't right and I went back in the store to tell the guy it wasn't working - the screen was unresponsive to touching it touching it in certain spots.  Go back to your security camera footage and you will see me get out of my car and go back into the store to tell them it wasn't right after they worked on it for the 2nd time! It was intermittent and they told me to take the screen protector off and try it for a little while and see if it improves. It improved a little but was still unresponsive to touch intermittently - especially during texting.  They told me my phone was very hard to work on, I've recently noticed that my screen was never seated properly and was lifting off the phone, and consequently because the screen wasn't seated or glued back on it began to crack - the whole screen is cracked now and the phone is unusable  I called and told them that the screen wasn't installed properly and was starting to crack - they told me that physical damage wasn't covered under the warranty.  They told me I had to take it back in, they would evaluate it and they would possibly give me a discount.  I'm tired of this crap - I took my phone in for a battery replacement and this thing is now trashed thanks to these guys.  They screwed my phone up and aren't standing behind their mistakes. I understand the phone is hard to work on - guess what - don't work on it if you can't do it properly. read more

After never dropping my old more-than5-year-old phone, I dropped my new Galaxy s10+ three times in the first month. The third time was the charm, as the back cracked everywhere. I took it to ubreakifix and was very satisfied. The staff were very nice. The business has a relationship with Samsung, so staff assured me that the phone would be fixed to Samsung's specifications. Diagnostics were run both pre and post repair. I took the phone on Wednesday last week. They said it needed a new back, which was ordered. The back arrived Thursday, and my phone was fixed on Friday.
