My charger got broken and jammed in my iPad. They were going to charge me $80.00 or $40.00 to join their club and $30.00 on top. The guy I spoke with wasn't even nice about it. I had been there once before and spoke with someone nice who didn't even charge me. I went down the street and found a place (I'll be polite and not mention the name} that was friendly and charged me $20.00. They figured out what the problem MOST LIKELY was and quoted a repair price. Best part- the diagnosis was free. If they find more damage and the repair cost quote increased, they just call you to see if you want to go ahead with the repair anyway. If not ... no charge at all. Would leave this place no stars if I could. I took it here to get a quote to see if it would be any less money than Apple. The guy told me it would be $260. I was super happy. When I came back the manager told me that it would be $500 and there was no way someone could have told me it was $270. I said I'm not paying for it then and I want my old screen back on. A few days later the manager calls me and says I can pick it up for $300 now "to make things right". Everything worked fine for a few days until it started acting up again. The manager was extremely rude about it and told me it wasn't covered under their warranty. It made no sense. DO NOT GO HERE. THIS PLACE IS EXTREMELY SKETCHY. read more

This place is a SCAM !!!! I came in with a Nintendo switch hoping to get the problem resolved . After this place had my Nintendo for almost a month ! I picked it up , the issue was not resolved and now the Nintendo has another problem with the charger port that fix it is trying to blame me for ! I lost the charger to the Nintendo switch and whatever power was left to the switch was because fix it charged it ! This place is HORRIBLE! This is how they make their money !! The whole point of their business is to discount their "service" in exchange for buying an Assurion Home Plus insurance policy that covers "cracked screens, drops, spills on portable devices" (directly quoted from their propaganda) but as I found out after telling uBreakiFix about the faulty repair, conveniently excludes cell phones. took my laptop to get fixed, got a call back the next day and I was told it was the battery. I replaced the battery and it cost me around $179.00+ tax , expensive but it worked . A week later I went back with my sons laptop that is the same make and model as mine with the same issue . got a call back the next day and the tech guy said it was the battery, I asked how much and was told it was $250 + tax. I asked why the cost to fix the same issue was so much more one week later and I got no explanation. Well, I picked my laptop up, didn't fix it and will never return. read more
