He was raising his voice at me and humiliating on front of the long line. Not treating people with respect. When do you enter a Staples and you can find someone nearby to help; almost never. This Staples store is in a busy mall that is in great need of an overall for its parking lot. I find the parking lot stressful to maneuver and the weekend drivers are challenging. So when we finally entered the store and found nobody to help us, it just added to the anxiety we already experienced in the parking lot. Terrible place as far as shipping goes. In my first experience, my package was delayed for 3 days despite paying $60 for 2nd day Air. Got no refund. Second experience, an associate named Maria took 15 minutes to process my package despite me being the only customer there. She took so long the computer timed out and I had to stand there and complete it again. I spent $1100.00 (eleven hundred dollars) on a new HP business desktop. The machine repeatedly failed. It refused to stay connected to Wifi or the internet. I brought it back to the store. I left it for two days. They said they fixed it. I reinstalled at my office where it failed again. I returned it, and the store replaced it with a new model that cost me several hundred dollars more. The new one was an HP tower as well. It also failed to connect to the internet or Wifi. I then had to return this one too. This was my SIXTH trip to the store. I then bought a new Dell on amazon. The unit works flawlessly. Then, on my annual job review, I got docked for failing to turn in my work on time ( because I had no working PC- as both HP's were in a constant state of failure. It negatively impacted my annual bonus. Although the tech people at the store were nice, something surely was not going right in the tech department. I now find that the store never refunded my purchases price for the second HP unit. The entire situation was exhausting-draining and seemingly had no end in sight. I'm NEVER coming back here. If you want fast service this is not the place to go. I came in on my lunch break wanting to use the computer to print. Only to find out that they were both down. The lady told me to send the document to her email so she can print it. I sent it and stood waiting there for 30min while she took her slow time walking back and forth fiddling around with some boxes. After 30min I decided I had enough and walked out. Very disappointed with customer service at this staples location. Ordered a computer and was told it wasn't in stock at the store but was available at their warehouse location for pickup at the store the next day. No call received the next day to pickup and when I called to check on my order status the manager informed me my order was cancelled. Apparently they were out of stock on the item. It's where I go to get my stationery fixes. They always seem to have just what I need: Pentel mechanical pencils and supplies, Radia pens, inexpensive paper, and Yup! black ink for my HP printer. Avoid this place if you ness to do something that requires input from the Staples employees. Went in there to mail something. There was one employee in the mail station helping a lady print something. I stood there patiently for 30 mins while she completely ignored me. There were 3 more employees loitering around in an empty store but no one turned up to help me out. 45 mins later the manager turned mainly to fix the printer. He decided to help me out once I complained about waiting 45 mins. I asked for ups ground shipping and he flatly lied to me saying the ups only processes overnight and it would cost me $30 to ship my document. A couple of hours ago I went here to buy a wifi router. In fact, since I have a big house I was going to buy two. They keep empty boxes on the shelves, evidently to discourage theft, so you have to wait for a salesperson to retrieve a real item from the storeroom. With no employee around to help me, I asked the guy at the copy center desk for help. He called someone who was supposed to show up to help me. I waited a few minutes, and when no one showed up, I asked again. I asked a couple more times and kept getting reassurances, but finally I left and Staples lost a sale.
