I had my first and worst experience with this store on 4/22/25 at the Lawrenceville Hwy location in GA. I brought in my fully functioning iPhone SE 2nd Gen with just a cracked screen. I was quoted about $110 for the repair and told everything would be fine unless I did high-quality photography. Their website even promises peace of mind and says devices are returned "back to normal." When I picked up my phone, I saw the speaker plug at the top was missing--something that was 100% there when I dropped it off. I mentioned it, and the girl at the help desk claimed it wasn't there. Being lied to like that was infuriating. The new screen also had a strong orange tint. I was told this was likely due to a low-quality screen--not Apple-certified. I was never told there were different screen types or options to choose from. I asked for the manager, Eddie. He claimed the missing plug wasn't important. That's false--it helps with waterproofing. I regularly shower with my phone, and without that plug, water and soap could ruin it. If I hadn't noticed, my phone could've been destroyed. The store claims to catch issues other places miss, but they didn't even acknowledge losing a part. Eddie offered to replace the plug and swap in another aftermarket screen, but not a real Apple one. If the orange tint remained, I'd have to pay another $100 for a genuine screen. I would've just bought a new phone if I knew that. I contacted corporate, but the owner refused to do anything. An employee even submitted a photo of my phone (after they lost the plug) claiming it was already missing! The entire experience felt shady. The cashier repeatedly asked for my passcode, which I refused to give. I even saw them ask for other customers' iCloud passwords out loud--total security risk. They gave me a screen protector that didn't fit my model and acted like that made up for everything. This was hands down the most unprofessional, frustrating service I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and go to a genuine Apple or Samsung store to get a device fixed and you will pay a little more, but you will have assurance and peace of mind that you will not be cheated and it will be fixed properly. read more

I have a Samsung z fold 2 5G phone. Initially, the repair of the cracked back glass was fine, but after about a month the replacement for the back (a metallic plate) started to come off because it was not glued properly. I later found out that it was a non-standard part, not authorized by Samsung. A technitian at another store was able to re-glue the back, but I find it disturbing that U break I fix was using non-authorized parts. Dave Russell read more

Worst location in the company. I made an appointment the day before telling them what phone I had and what I needed. When I got there they kept me standing there for 20 minutes and then told me they did not have the part. They also wanted to know my passwords beyond that for the screensaver. Their explanation of why it would take four hours once they got the part was unacceptable. I would never go back to this location. read more

The technicians were very friendly and helpful. I cracked the screen on my Samsung Galaxy s8+ and needed it repaired so I can trade it in. I filed a claim with Asurion, paid the $29 deductible, and this is the shop they sent me to. My phone was finished in about two hours, and Luke was kind enough to call me and let me know. I shattered my screen and came in for a quote, they needed to order the glass which was supposed to come the next day. Took two weeks because it got resent to the sender when they were randomly closed on a Wednesday, then the second time they ordered the wrong part. They were suppose to call when the second part came in but didn't and they rarely answer the phone. Two and a half weeks later I called and they said the part arrived, I left work early, came in at 10 am and gave them 3 different phone numbers to call when it was done. No one called or texted those 3 numbers so I called twice at 5, no answer. Went in store at 5:30 to pick it up and the phone was still shattered and not fixed. The guy at the front said they lost ordering capability and that I could go all the way to Buford.. Almost 3 weeks and my phones still shattered. read more

I brought my phone in to have my cracked screen fixed. No problem there. Once I brought my phone home the volume down button did not work. Called and explained this was told to bring the phone in. I did and they told the me the service person claimed it wasn't working when I brought it in. Which it was. The manager came out and said he wasn't calling me or them a liar (which of course is a lie, we both can't be right). I was using the button before I brought in to be fixed. He explained that I would have to go through insurance to get I new phone, which I probably would not have fussed about had he not called me a liar. They don't know how to talk to people. read more

They are so close to being amazing/awesome/incredible, but not there yet. What a great business and we are lucky to have someone that offers this service; but they need better management or ownership. They are severely under-staffed and don't manage customer's expectations properly. COVID and the economy are no longer an excuse for being short-staffed. Figure it out. You are smart and your business depends on it. The line of annoyed customers was huge and they simply need to tell customer's when their devices will really be ready. We can handle it. Just tell us. I spoke to two employees. One was friendly and cool. The other was stressed-out due to under-staffing issues, but was trying to be polite. They have a gold-mine of a business if they can figure out how to manage expectations and staff-up a bit. Their actual work was great although it took way longer than promised. This Ubreakifix location in Tucker, GA is the WORST! Not only did they not fix the hinge on my laptop screen, but they damaged it so bad I had to by a new laptop. Gave one fix price. A week later, still no laptop, rude 'customer service' rep said they were waiting on a part. Two weeks, still no laptop, not able to do business. Went check status. Nasty Tech said not got my permission to fix the laptop. Told him this was ridiculous and asked for the laptop. When he brought it, with his bad attitude, it was so extremely damaged. DON'T EVER GO TO THAT LOCATION if you ever need a device fixed and expect customer SERVICE. read more

Call to check them on everything , or be ready to waste your time. I used them twice to do a simple battery placement, first on iPhone, later an iPad. Both times they told me it would be ready the next morning, no problem. I came in much later than that and after a long wait was told it hadn't been started. 2nd time I gave them two extra days and called to check before coming in. They didn't have the battery in stock and hadn't notified me, thus hadn't ordered the battery. I'd already authorized the work so they could have just ordered it - or at least called or texted - why take all that info if you don't use it? This is clearly no fluke - the workers in there are these spacey 20 somethings who seem about half present, like super stoned or whatever. They don't seem to listen, and when you call they act like everything you tell them is brand new information, asking you all the questions when you opend the order. Then show no sign to acknowledge they've dropped the ball, it's business as usual. And respond to the feedback like, yeah, I hear this all day. You get a distinct wiff of total cluelessness. I did at least. And it's not just me, I've seen others in line dealing with the same nonsense. So yeah, find another place or call them every day or few hours or expect no progress at all. called because a Google Pixel phone was having issues with battery and Google service recommended this location. called to be sure they were open and was very impressed with the professionalism on the phone. Took the phone in and was told it would take about 2 hours to check. I was called within the 2 hours and was told the phone could not be repaired but was under warranty. Went to pick the phone up and Brittney explained everything-she had even gotten the process started with Google for the replacement since this was a known issue. I have used uBreakiFix on Lawrenceville Hwy more than once. The first time, I had dropped the phone, which smashed the screen, and also broke both cameras. They replaced the screen, and the two broken cameras, quickly, and at a reasonable price. Today I took the phone in because I had dropped it, and it went black. I was afraid is was gone for good this time. Turns out, the battery had just been knocked loose! The battery was set back in place, and there was no charge! The techs are always friendly and helpful. I needed my keyboard replaced after spilling water on it. I ordered the parts through my computer brand and brought them to be installed. Other repair stores estimated a 2-4 wait week and around $200 just for installation. uBreakiFix was less than half that quote and got it done in UNDER 4 HOURS!!! I took my Samsung 8+ to the Lawrenceville Hwy location in Tucker. The lady took my phone and said they would install a new battery. She said it might take 48 hours, but if it didn't work, I would not be charged. The next morning they called to give me the bad news. I was shocked to hear from them because it had only been there overnight. I went in to pick up my phone and had the strange feeling that my phone had never been touched. I told my son about it. He was heading over sees, but he instructed be to order a battery and he would install it when he returned. He called me tonight to say the phone works. Wow! You didn't even try. The pictures and information on my phone are important to me and you didn't even try. I am beyond disappointed right now. Disappointed, because who can I trust?
