When I asked for clarification, the business stated they had diagnostic photos, hardware inventory screenshots, and a detailed report proving the SSD was already in the machine at the time of service. I requested copies multiple times. They did not provide a single photo, screenshot, or document. The customer portal they referenced contained only an invoice and the laptop's serial number. When I asked again for the documentation they claimed existed, the shop refused to send it and insisted they would no longer communicate in writing. They stated that any further discussion must take place only in person, which prevents any verifiable record. At no point did they provide the evidence needed to confirm their claims. My review is based entirely on written communication and the business's refusal to provide the diagnostic documentation they repeatedly referenced.

He was very professional throughout the correspondences and responsive. What I appreciated most during the proposal process was that he never tried to upsell or sell more equipment or features than what we needed. He identified what our business needs were and matched the equipment and setup accordingly. The costs provided on the proposal was very reasonable. Once the quote was approved, Omar and his team arrived on time for the date we agreed for installation and took care of everything without any issues. In fact, they identified some issues that were caused by some other vendors that worked on our office and brought it to our attention. They also identified that some of the items that were actually quoted where not needed, so at the end of the day, we ended up paying less than what was on the actual proposal. During this whole process, we discovered that Lumari Tech offers managed IT services which is something our company needs as we cannot justify the cost of having an in-house IT person to manage our network. We definitely plan to work with Lumari Tech in the near future to help beef up our cybersecurity, backup of data and explore cloud options to support our business IT needs. The packaging (such that it was) had not been disturbed and they were in the exact selling condition they had been when sold to me. The clerk (I believe he is the owner), told me he "never accepts returns," but grudgingly eventually said he would refund me 75% of the charge, keeping 25% for a restocking fee. I asked where that information would have been given upon purchase. My paper receipt had nothing about it and there was no sign on the wall. He produced a separate paper listing the restocking fee, which had not been shared with me when I purchased the items. He explained tersely that he is a small business and reiterated that he never accepts returns and I should be grateful he was making an exception. So -- be warned -- if you purchase supplies from this business, be aware that he "never accepts returns" and that if he decides to make an exception, he'll retain 25% of the payment. My understanding of micro soldering is taking a pen point sized spot on a microchip and attaching a smaller wire. This place is awesome. I dropped my phone and shattered the screen, but luckily everything still worked! After checking in with AT&T and Apple I discovered that a new phone is way out of my price range! I did a quick google search and these guys were 5 minutes away! Over the past few years, technology has really gotten ahead of me so I was a little intimidated about going in to the shop, but once I got there I realized there was nothing to worry about. Not only was my phone shattered, but it was running slow b/c I was out of storage and my battery was at a critically low level. Everything was explained to me in a simple way, and they looked at how my phone was running and tried to help me out . I grabbed a beer down the street to pass the hour that was quoted, and my phone was ready right when they said it would be. Screenfixing guarantees their screens for a year, so after a week I went back in b/c I thought there was a glitch. Once again they were patient with me and tried to replicate what I was experiencing. When we couldn't get the glitch to happen they thought maybe my phone just needed the new update, and updated it for me in their shop and told me to come back if it happens again. I'm really happy that this shop is in my neighborhood, and although I hope I'm not in there TOO much, I'll definitely be back again! I highly recommend them to all my family and friends! Kudos to the good people at Screen Fixing. My 2011 MacBook Pro totally went out. It was an old Mac therefore the parts were hard to come by. James, Nate and Logan worked really hard in trying to find that part for me so I would have to purchase another Mac. Well, turns out I had to buy another one anyhow because the part wasn't available. James took the time to send me links for Macs that were in my budget and met the specs I needed. I felt very comfortable with their suggestions and am currently typing this review on my new Mac! I took my iPad to Apple to have it repaired only to be told it couldn't be fixed but I could trade it in for a new one. I left Apple, googled iPad repairs near my location and Screen Fixing popped up. I called them, asked a few questions about the service I needed and dropped my iPad off. They said it would be ready in two -three days. The customer service at Screen Fixing was great!! My iPad is just like new. Apple on the other hand...well. I did a search on the internet to see if someone local could fix my cracked iPhone screen AND could out-do the Apple stores...and ScreenFixing.com popped up. I set up an appointment with Nate at the Midway Pub, had some lunch, and before my lunch was over my phone was in complete working order! These folks are lifesavers! Okay, well, maybe they didn't save my actual life, but they saved my trip to Europe. The morning of my flight my phone wouldn't charge, and I ran into ScreenFixing in urgent need of a repair. Only 45 minutes later I was walking out of the store with a fixed phone/new charging port, and a repair charge that, really, was about HALF what I expected. Super nice folks! They took time to diagnose why my 2017 Macbook Pro battery wasn't charging. There was concern it was a fault in the logic board since the battery had no obvious signs of swelling and only had 120 charge cycles. Ultimately, changing the battery solved the issue! Was super affordable - on par with what Apple would have charged and at least I didn't have to drive to the Apple store and was able to just drive down the street from my house to East Atlanta Village! Had an issue with a 2008 Mac Book Pro. Also am a non-tech person so I didn't ever realize that the battery had blown up. Nate took a good amount of time with me so that i could understand what needed to be done and also why it needed to be done. They restored the Mac side and the PC side of the split hard drive and got it all working again. The guys at ScreenFixing turned my Mac around quickly. My Apple Watch first generation had the back come detached from the watch when I took it off the charger. This is a known problem but since the watch is 3 years old Apple wanted $79-$200 to repair the watch. Screenfixing teglued the watch for $30 and had the work done in 24 hours. I took it to Nate and the guys at 5:30 p.m., they ordered a replacement display, received the shipment the same day, and had my screen fixed by opening the next day for a reasonable price. I've had to have Nate replace both the glass on the front and the back of my iphone on two separate occassions - both times he's been available to do it within 24 hours and able to do it while i wait (sometimes he's even done before i can finish my beer!).
