I had removed my SIM card from my iPhone and put it back in wrong. It was stuck. Really stuck. I drove there in a panic and 30 minutes before closing time. All I could think of while I was driving there was that I had just cancelled the insurance on my phone 2 days ago. It took me longer to drive there than it did for them to pop open the phone and remove the card. I felt like an idiot, but got nothing except thoughtful nodding smiles from the staff. Relief! So I had an issue with my phone where the phone would be plugged into the charging cable and would not charge. I convinced myself that I needed a new jack for my IPhone XR. I called bulbs and batteries and they were willing to do it, but they did not have the part in stock. Fortunately, I called uBreakiFix, and they said they had the part and could fix it. When I went down to the store itself, however, the man at the counter informed me that I in fact did not need a new phone jack, but just needed it to be cleaned. He cleaned it free of charge and writing a stellar review is the least I could do. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get an honest opinion on how to fix their phone. read more

I came in with a cracked screen and they were able to fix it within only 3 hours, It was fast, convenient, and relatively cheap. However when I got my phone back the home button was loose and I had to go back which took more time out of my day for something that should have been checked the first time. Ever since I have gotten my phone back the touch screen will glitch up, wont work, and is making my phone slower. I don't know if they put something in there, accidentally bumped a part, or put it on incorrectly but Im getting it fixed again next week. Its just a pain that I will have to go in there for a third time and work it around my busy schedule. Im heading off to college and have to juggle packing, work, family, ect and wanted a simple one-day fix that is turning into a big stressor. read more

Really it should be zero stars! The worst experience ever. Took my iPod to them to replace the battery. JUST THE BATTERY. Said it would take a week. It took 5 weeks. Within a week I received a call from the technician telling me that he broke the switch and that he had to order a part. That made me nervous, I understand that accidents do happen but aren't they supposed to fix things not break them.? Needless to say about a week and a half, someone from the office called to tell me it was ready, I was excited, went to pick it up and it was a mess. The casing was ruined, it was bent as if it had been pried open with a chisel and a hammer, and put back together with all the edges and corners bent, as if it a can opener was used. In fact, one of the edges was just sticking up. I couldn't understand that it was okay to give that back to me in that condition, I was in shock. Obviously the technician had no pride in his work. I simply couldn't believe it. The gentleman (not the technician) at the service counter was nice about it and agreed that it was not acceptable but yet he presented it to me. (?) Said that he will make sure that it is done correctly. Now I had to wait another 2 1/2 weeks for them to fix the problem, by ordering a part. Finally I received a call to tell me that it was ready and when I got there I shocked and disappointed AGAIN!!! The iPod no longer looks like the one I entrusted them with. The face was a black matte finish, my iPod was a gray matte finish. The back has some odd discoloration that doesn't come off. The on/off switch is flimsy and it looks as if it can break at any moment. I didn't get an apology or a discount off of the repair. Just the guy who claimed that he did that terrible work and still no NO APOLOGY!!! If one of my customers had that kind of experience I would do what ever I could to make it right. THAT'S CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am still in shock by the level of professionalism, or should I say lack thereof. Five weeks of waiting, without my original iPod, paid for a service that was unacceptable and no apology, technician broke my iPod and ordered parts that were not the same as my original iPod. Called ahead about a iphone locked out by icloud password being lost. Was told no problem bring it in 25 dollar fix. Arrived the next day and was told they cant fix issue for me. Store associate claimed i have only one choice and that was to send it into apple. Wasnt happy for wasted time and gas especially when I called ahead with a specific question and specific problem. Make sure you stress to whom ever answers the phone so they dont have a miscomunication and accidently waste your time as well. Two thumbs down for this store. read more

Made an appointment two days prior to have the battery replaced on my phone. Website and confirmation say that it will be completed in 4 hours. Received confirmation emails day before and day of appointment. Arrived at appointment time and told that "appointments are only to put the parts aside" and the repair would take 7 hours. If I wanted any repairs to be done timely I should "come in right when they open." Guess that wouldn't look good on their website though. I left without leaving my phone. read more

I brought my iphone8 there after dropping it in the ocean. The gentleman accepted my phone promptly, I'm not sure what was done but it works just as new! Very disappointed. After making an appointment at a specific time two days in advance we showed up for an iPhone screen repair. Unfortunately we were told it would take 27 hours!! When asking about the appointment we were told that was only so they knew when the phone was coming in. Very deceptive and a waste of time. My Samsung Galaxy S8's battery started to fizzle. It was over two years and old and would not hold a charge. I called the Geneva store and was quoted a price of $120.00. Their website said the repair would cost about $60. I asked the salesman why the discrepancy in the price. Why would they be charging me double their website price? He said it was the price of the battery. I suggested that they change their website price to reflect the actual cost of the replacement. He said they couldn't do it on the local level. Bait & switch? Came here a few times to get my Iphone screen fixed and the team always did a professional and fast job, plus they price match which is amazing. The guys working up front could always fix my phone same day and in just a few hours. However, I took my phone in about a week ago to fix a broken mute button and my battery. Unfortunately they have broken my phone even more, to the point that my wifi and bluetooth are now broken and my mute button still isn't fixed. The store manager has been nothing but a nightmare and made the situation worse. When I asked him to find a solution to my problems I ended up on a 20 min phone call listening to him talk about his medical problems and how he spent the prior day in the ER (wtf). Bottom line, The tech fixing my phone was unfortunately careless and dinged one of the wires causing this whole mess and the management at this store is atrocious so they will leave you stuck between a rock and a hard place. Take your devices to geek squad or the apple store and save yourself the hassle. read more

We have used UBreakiFix twice for problems with our cell phone due to dropping. The screen on one shattered the first time, they replaced it within 1/2 hour and the service was excellent. They took all my info over the phone and told me they would come out to the parking lot and pick up from my car. It sounded like a good idea. But it wasn't. I should have just paid the $200 for a replacement from Apple. My screen on my iPad broke in the top corner. The screen still worked as did everything else but I wanted the screen fixed. They were able to put a new screen on, but my iPad will never be the same. First of all, the smart cover on/off function doesn't work anymore. To get iCloud to work, or to connect through USB I've had to turn my ipad off and back on. I've noticed that I commonly have to shut it down before some things will intermittently work again. Such a pain. read more

I took my iPhone 6S here because there was condensation built up under the camera lens and it was making all of my photos blurry. I just bought my phone less than 6months ago and happened to buy the 128GB, so it was expensive and I was nervous. Took it in at the end of a work day so I left it there over night and I picked it up within 3hrs of this place opening the next day. They took it apart, cleaned out all the water, and checked for other water damage but there wasn't any (I got super lucky!). They labeled it as a diagnostic check and fixed the problem for FREE! I accidentally spilled liquid on my macbook air, I took it there and as promised after 24 hours they completed their diagnostic, they gave me their plan on how to fix the issue, a day later they called me back and they got my laptop running again, however it appears that the keyboard was still having issues so they, after the replacement part came and opened the laptop again they were honest enough to let me know that they did not need to replace the keyboard and additional cleaning from the water damage was just needed and that should be covered by the initial cost since the keyboard was not replaced. I will recommend them to folks that needs assistance with their "gadgets" for sure. Thank you for fixing my laptop!!! read more
