Dropped off my laptop for a 48-hour diagnosis, but had to call multiple times just to get updates. First they said they couldn't access it due to a password issue--I immediately provided it. Then the next day, they still claimed they couldn't log in, after I asked if they had inspect it. The owner said no, but suddenly said it needed a motherboard replacement, which didn't make sense. Still got charged a diagnosis fee for an inconsistent evaluation. On top of that, the owners were arguing in front of customers, which was unprofessional. Would not recommend. read more

My first experience was a phone screw repair. They fixed it quickly and was working right. Over time because the screen was a knock off the touch on the sides began to fade. It got so bad I had to replace again. It would have been best to go to Apple in the first place. Second experience was a PS4 repair. They fixed the problem but within 6 months same issue happened. Took it back to them which they had for one month. I was told when I dropped it off they could look at it tomorrow. Days, weeks went on. The numerous of messages I left for the tech were never returned. Finally I just told the woman who works the counter, I'm picking up my machine tomorrow, repaired or not. Went in next day, they said we just can't fix it we've tried everything. Fine I get it things happen. Brought it home and figured out they didn't even put all the screws back and things were falling off. Called another local company and they had it fixed the next day. Don't use this company. With non-corporate tech repair places, you are looking for a great deal with the hope that non-shady/shortcut practices will occur. This place is one of those. Brought in an android model (non-popular), that they were repairing for the first time (cracked screen). I picked it up and "signed" off on the repairs being done essentially. Go home and my screen naturally cracked. I'm thinking "oh crap!" I was 100% convinced that the job done was not correct, but what are the odds of Tekkies taking responsibility at this point. In a nutshell, they owned up to the incorrect fix job (customer satisfaction!!!) and re-repaired it (requiring another new screen). You can trust these people folks. read more

I used this for my custom pc build, and it was great. cable Management was great, all the fans turned on, every part was plugged in, perfect windows install, and they had all my nvidia drivers ready when I got there. My only problem was that they never told me that my cpu socket on my motherboard was broken, as I had to call them. I honestly can't say enough good things about Tekkies. First, I love that they are a local Bartlett company. I brought my son's iPad in there a few weeks ago for a cracked screen. They fixed it and sold me a great case that is super durable for kiddies. Fast forward a couple weeks, and the iPad wouldn't turn on.. It died and for some reason I was unable to get it working again... I took it to Tekkies and asked them to take a look. They were able to find the problem, fix it, and get this... IT WAS FREE!!!! They may be good at cell phone repair, but they suck at PC's. I had to go back twice because the new hard drive that they installed kept giving me the same error - "No Operating system found." They charged me a total of $185 for restoration and new hard drive, but I suspect that the hard drive they installed is an old, re-furbished one. Beware of going there. They kept insisting "nothing was wrong", and then had the audacity to try to charge me $15 for "diagnosis".... that's poor customer service in my book.... Now... I have to go through the trouble of just doing it myself...mirroring the shitty hard drive that they installed and putting in a new one. Brought my Xbox here for a diagnostic due to it having power issues, they had it for about 3-4 days and did not call me about it. I finally called because they said it would only take 72 hours. They told me there was roaches inside of it and was immediately put together and placed in a bag. I go pick it up immediately because I am embarrassed and feel so bad not knowing I even had roaches in my home. I come home open up the whole xbox and the system is as clean as could be, where are the roaches ??? I call back and ask them to clarify that there was for certain roaches inside of it and they left them in there and they repeat that it was immediately put together and placed in a closed bag. They also claimed that my boyfriend knew and told them "it's roaches isn't it" when what he asked was "can you tell me what kind of bugs are in it." Brought my HP spectre x360 laptop in. I accidently cracked the touchscreen screen and even though it was only a couple years old, my keyboard went out. Not only did they replace my screen and keyboard just like new, but the 500G hard drive was nearly full, I asked them about a larger HD. I ended up getting a 2Tb drive and I could not be happier. However, during the check out process, an option came up on the screen asking if I wanted to give a tip. I thought that was bold of them. I don't get tips for what I do. Anyway, I gave a tip because I really appreciate their service. I entered my own amount because I couldn't afford a higher amount. When the receipt came in my email, the amount have been increased without my approval. I received a bill three times, but I had to call and ask for a receipt saying I paid. I called and complained.
