$8 All Day on Sunday, 12-8-19
    Wendy K.

They have an awesome $8 all day rate on Sundays. This is perfect for me when I go visit my son. The spot is conveniently located near City Hall, Symphony, Museum and UC Hastings. The only drawback is that a lot of their spots are reserved and compact on the lower levels. But even with that, there have been plenty of spots for me to park. A real live cashier is available on the first floor to assist you with payment, but they also have a machine. There is an elevator and stairs for use. To date my car has never been broken into or vandalized in any way. Here's What I Think... For all the times I can't get a street park, this is the place I choose. Remember to bring your yellow ticket with you because you need to get "paid" ticket before you get to your car

A three-star parking garage review is probably akin to a five-star restaurant review. So take this fwiw... The good: -Great location near City Hall, Asian Art Museum, Superior Court, Library and many other places including the UN. -Very clean (for a parking garage) and well-marked signage and striping -Fairly, ahem, "reasonable" prices with a $27/max (see attached pics) -Secure building as you can't re-enter without scanning a parking ticket at the door -Philz Coffee™ on the bottom floor The Bad - Payment machine is credit card only; not a biggie but some people might prefer cash -Lots of homeless around the building but again that's SoP for SF The Ugly -Those SF parking prices. Oy gevalt... This is probably as good as it gets for SF parking garages. Highly recommended for a day at the museum.

Access is weird and parking usually means a drive to the very top floor and then you better get lucky. Coming back on foot was strange and thankfully they had a few signs to navigate the gates to get to the pay station. Not sure about the price as a couple hours ran me $24 and the whole day would have been $32 ... nice marketing I guess.

New prices for parking! as of 2/13/13

Great garage. Use the front pedestrian door only for entry or exit. Bring the ticket with you and pay when returning to the car.

I also have a dash cam which shows me parking.. my own car at the spot he directed to. Drove in at around 12pm on a Tuesday.. Parked in many parking garage already in the past. Ticket at kiosk before entering structure. (Paper) Goes in and one of the works points at a spot so I park into it. He asked me to give him my ticket (the one from the kiosk). Then he says "leave the keys in the car" so I get out and say "ok is that it?" He goes "how long are you going to park here? me: 20-40 mins" And hes like ok go so I leave. I get back and try to pay for the parking and the guy asked for my ticket receipt. Well I don't have it because I never got one.. And so charged max price for the ticket 25$ for like 45 minutes.. Back and forth with cashier "How did you not get a ticket we wouldn't have parked your car otherwise?" Well its so strange.. because I parked the car... and I left the keys in the car when the guy asked me to. The ticket receipt is also a massive card thats thick I definitely did not get one.. How can I get a 25$ charge when they have when I entered. Look at the enter and paid time.. It's a piece of paper too not some fob or keycard that's magnetic so it would make sense to charge the max. What kind of parking garage has a system where a person is responsible for even giving you a charge receipt when every OTHER garage in just takes a ticket and that's the thing you pay to get out with. Maybe just a SF thing.. But here we have a ticket at the kiosk to then hand to someone else to give you a separate ticket??? TLDR Just use any other parking garage in the finical district.. Or I guess make sure you get the ticket. Also there are no instructions for this place which I guess is a no brainer what kind of parking garage has a system like this that would require instructions.

One of the best rates you'll find since the downtown parking shortage began in 2010 with the demolition of the Transbay Terminal for construction of the Transbay Transit Center. Now, heading south on 1st street after Mission, make a right into the alley-like street, Natoma. Helmeted construction workers/flaggers will direct you. Turn left into the first building for bargain parking. If you want to try to enjoy the construction, I think the only bet is the construction cam.
