Came into the UC Davis Medical Center - Rancho Cordova location. My partner was feeling sick and she needed to be seen by the urgent care team. We made a call and they were able to schedule her in same day. We called at 9:00 am and they scheduled an appointment for 3:00 pm. I like how this location has plenty of parking spaces. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The waiting area was clean and quiet. Only 1-2 patients in the waiting area. My partner was seen within 10 mins after getting checked in by the front desk staff. The urgent care provider was knowledgeable and took their time answering all of our questions and was able to provide medications for the cough! We're happy to be a part of the UC Davis Medical network! read more

I accompanied my hubby to his appointment the other day... Parking was easy, since it was a morning appointment there weren't as many patients scheduled... Checking in was a breeze, we waited a good 2 minutes then the receptionist reviewed his insurance information and provided paperwork for him to fill out. She wasn't as warm and welcoming, and she had a slight condesending tone, but we didn't let her bother us... Sat in the waiting area for what felt like 10 minutes, then we were called back... The medical assistant took his vitals: weight, blood pressure, temperature and oxygen saturation. Everything was good and healthy... We were walked to one of the exam rooms where the MA continued her assessment for the doctor and asked all the investigation questions... We waited a good 10 minutes then Dr. Susan Toress walked in... She was very personable as this was my first time meeting her. I absolutely loved her bedside manner and professionalism. Being a nurse, assessing how other healthcare professionals execute their bed side manner is huge for me, and I appreciated how she inclulded me in the conversation when it came to diagnosis and recommendation but mainly focused on my hubby, the patient. Everything during Dr. Toress's assessment was on point. All of her assessment questions covered every aspect of a complete head to toe assessment, which gave her a clear path to a possible diagnosis. When the appointment was complete, she was very thorough on discharge instructions and answered all of our concerning questions to a T! The staff is phenomenal here. From scheduling and checking into appointments you are treated respectfully. Every phone call and email I've had is always greeted with a warm and patient tone. Dr. Molly Davis is an incredible human. She is a person you just know was meant to be a dr. Her compassion, and kindness shine through in her attention to detail, and welcoming smile. She has advised me on many minor and major medical issues, and always advocated that I have referrals to other physicians she believes will take good care of me as she does. I'm honestly humbled that she has dedicated her life to helping others. I'm so satisfied with her care that I plan to bring my baby to her when he/she arrives later this year. She just has a very positive can do attitude and I love that about her. Dr. Davis is very attentive, she will take the time to answer your questions so you can make the best decisions regarding your care. She is just the best. You'd be lucky to have her on your side. It is unfortunate that I have to give a one star review to this facility . The one star is reflective only of the experience I had with the pcp doctor. The facility itself is very clean and bright and modern. The auxiliary staff from the front to the back was proficient and acceptable . However staff doctor MOLLY DAVIS was one of the WORST physicians I have ever encountered. MOLLY DAVIS was extremely UNPROFESSIONAL with me. I filed a formal grievance against her and contacted the medical board for advise about the situation. On my initial visit with her , MOLLY DAVIS came in looking disheveled and tired. There was no smile , no friendliness , and no apology for making me wait nearly one hour and fifteen minutes for my appointment . I wasn't in a hurry and understand that emergencies and unexpected appointments can occur , but not acknowledging the ridiculous delay and then proceeding to be UNCARING and RUDE is not behavior anyone should put up with . She took no time to review any of the paper work they required me to fill out . She took minimum time to discuss any of my concerns with me. Her demeanor was that of someone who didn't want to be there and had no intentions of listening or getting to know her patient . I had questions and was a bit confused about what the next step in the process for my healthcare would be. Since MOLLY DAVIS dismissed me without any clear conclusions about my test results I had no choice but to ask the medical assistant who was kind, but could not answer my questions adequately . At this time , MOLLY DAVIS came into the room to communicate to the medical assistant. When she realized that I was still present and had questions , I felt she became defensive and hostile towards me. She was condescending , sarcastic, and made Inappropriate comments to me which made me feel vulnerable and inferior . She spent more time berating me and trying to intimidate me then she did trying to listen and care for my health concerns . As I mentioned above, I contacted my insurance company right away to report her. MOLLY DAVIS should be ASHAMED of her behavior. She was completely INSENSITIVE to my concerns. My husband and I visited this location for a doctors app with Dr. Duru. Last week my husband was seen by this doctor and had a wonderful experience. However, we came back today and had an absolutely horrible experience with the receptionist! I have never been so disrespected and mistreated than I have today. Sherry was rude and had the most disgusting attitude and manner of communicating with me. She did not listen, she was talking down to me and was not answering the questions we had for her. Absolutely pathetic place, poor service and very careless! My PCP Dr. Torres absolutely didn't care about me. I sent her a very simple and basic request regarding preventive care tests that she mentioned herself during my first and only physical exam with her. She ignored my request and never even acknowledged it. Also when I tried to make an appointment with her through patient portal it was like 2.5 months out. As if I am a new patient, but I was not! After being so much disappointed I also called receptionist and asked if I could start going to a different doctor. The answer was that they can only allow that if my current doctor agrees. She also promised someone would call me regarding this matter. Nobody ever called me. As I am writing this review I already have a new doctor from a different provider. I've been there twice and I must say they were both a waste of time and money. My foot has been hurting for 2 weeks and finally it became too much to bear so I made an appointment with Don H. Nguyen, DO. He seemed "uninterested" in my condition. Diagnosed me with "foot pain" and said to come back in 2 weeks. WHAT AN IDIOT! Second visit 2 weeks later (pain is worse now), thought I was just unlucky to get Don H. Nguyen, DO. Visited Eric Glassberg, MD. It was clear after that visit compassion and concern for the patients well-being are secondary to their inflated egos. MD & DO???? Obviously these guys have been educated beyond their intelligence. This was my first visit here for my son and the place is super nice and clean and I really liked dr luke. The only thing I did not like was the wait. His appointment was at 2 and we arrived at 145and we literally waited more than an hour. I was super annoyed spending a hour and a half at the doctors for a simple first meet appointment. I have been to this place couple of time. The doctor is amazing but the staff starting from reception to medical assistants are not professional. Twice, my doctor said she will put referral to a specialist and the staff never sent the referral out. I had to call them and followed up and the staff said they sent it. I had to call the specialist to see if they received the referral and they said the have not received anything from UC Davis. It's really not convenient to how they treat their patients. Great clinic with great front desk peeps and Dr. Humphrey is amazing. But today my parents had to see Dr. Davis. Their whole experience just changed, she was stand offish, and didn't take their concerns seriously. Just because they might not speak fluently in English doesn't make their concern invalid. To top it off she gave my mom someone else's discharge paperwork with that patients medical record number and all of the medications, and health issues. Let me start by saying that Dr. Bryant is an excellent provider. I was previously stationed in Germany and received horrendous medical treatment resulting in an almost 11-hour plane ride home to seek help through physicians who could help me. Going in to see him, I was skeptical at first, seeing how I had gone to multiple providers who told me I was lying, that my pain was in my head, that I was a drug addict, and that I needed to speak with a psychiatric doctor. Not once did he ever call me a liar, tell me that I was crazy, or make me feel like I was going crazy - and trust me, a year of dealing with medical providers telling you it's all in your head makes you start questioning yourself. I started smoking again; my mental health wasn't doing very well, I pretty much felt hopeless. Now I can't speak for him, but I'd like to believe he could tell something was wrong. He gave me the pain meds I needed until I could see a specialist, told me it wasn't my fault that I started smoking again; it was a stressful situation. I think just hearing that from an actual doctor who didn't make me feel crazy gave me the mental ability to start quitting again. Although he ultimately didn't perform the procedure that fixed me, he gave me so much by just allowing me to come in and him listening. If more providers treated their patients with the kind, thoughtful, without judgemental remarks the way he has treated me, maybe more people would see their providers before their circumstance is escalated to the extreme like mine. Even though all my medical issues haven't been resolved, I have complete confidence that anything that happens, Dr. Bryant is on my side. On a side note, everyone through UCD has been spectacular. Whether that's through the office here or their main hospital. You never realize how much having someone on your side matters when you feel like your health is deteriorating and no one listens. read more

This place has the friendliest staff! I've had to go in quite often over the last 6 months and the ladies at the front desk started recognizing me and the conversations we've had after only 2 visits. Feels pretty comforting to see a familiar, smiling face who actually cares. Also, the nurses are a crack-up and never make me feel rushed. But I'm really writing this review to defend Dr. Molly Davis from a previous review. I'm 20 years old and I've been through a handful of doctors over the last 2 years for Candidiasis and Dr. Davis has been the ONLY doctor to take my issue seriously instead of telling me "it's just something you're going to have to live with." My first appointment with her about this lasted until we went through my entire medical history and exhausted all our future options. She is as passionate about curing my illness as I am. In fact, she prescribed me the same regime that the specialist she referred me to came up with! She's on the ball and very patient. Believe me, I asked a million questions and asked for dozens of tests to be run that I had read about on the internet yet her responses were always kind and she had no problem explaining all of it to me. I don't know how Charles received such poor treatment from her but it does not justify calling her a "broad". I've had terrible treatment from male doctors but it was not their gender that made them so terrible. read more

Remember the Monty Python "Cheese Shop" sketch, the cheese shop that had no cheese? This place reminded me of that sketch. Firstly it is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment. When I did finally get in to see a Doctor, I had to wait 20 minutes in the lobby and then another 20 minutes in the treatment room. Whilst the Doctor was pleasant enough, she was at a loss as to the cause of my ailment, not even able to explain it, and the equipment they intended to use on me was broken. I had to return to the clinic a few days later and sat in the reception lobby for an hour. There were only TWO patients in the whole time I was there and a further TWO who went to the reception desk. So what exactly is going on in there? They are obviously not seeing patients! Perhaps it is a disguise for a CIA listening post, or a secret testing lab. Perhaps it is a brand new building and they haven't staffed it yet so there are no actual Doctors there. Or maybe all the equipment is broken so they can't actually examine anyone. Maybe, with all the fancy new buildings and equipment and computers, they somewhere along the line forgot that they were in the business of TREATING patients. read more

I've been going to this location for a while now, and I've never had a problem. The waiting area is always nice and clean, and the front desk girls are always so nice and helpful. I have Dr. Glassberg and he's awesome. I've seen several other Dr's there and none of them has actually ever listened or talked with me about my problems. I would give them 5 stars, but whenever I call it takes forever to get through to someone. Especially trying to make an appointment. I was on the phone for almost 20 minutes once. I finally just gave up and decided to call them back later. Same goes for the advice nurse line. Over 15 minutes to pick the phone up. They are extremely friendly though. So it semi makes up for the long wait time. So all in all they're awesome. They just need to work on answering their phones a little more. read more

My sister and family go to this facility and I had been with my sis a few times. It's nice, clean and pleasant. A few weeks ago I decided to make an appointment with her doctor as I needed to establish with a doctor. The ladies at the counter were very friendly and helped me to make an appointment as well as fill out the forms right then and there. (Was there for my sick niece) I decided to try another doctor ad my appointment would not be until the middle of August. I called a few days later after reading the bios the receptionist had given me and asked about another doctor. Getting a hold of the clinic and getting another appointment was a breeze. I was glad I filled out the forms in advance as this morning when I went for my appointment it was hassle free. I arrived early and had an appointment at 9:30. The assistant Olivia came to get me about 9:35. She was such a sweetheart. She immediately made me feel at ease. (I have a doctor phobia and you would think with my medical issues I would see a doc more regularly) with her being so nice, I just might. Anyway she took my vitals and then we went to the room. She asked me all the new patient questions, typed the info in the computer and was so cheery the whole time. Dr. Nguyen literally came in minutes after she had left. I was surprised, thought I was in for a wait so I went to grab my cell and there he was. He was a little standoffish at first but made me feel at ease within minutes of his arrival. He asked me lots of questions about my history and was explaining to me about their system. He also told me there was a clinic closer to my house. I said "I know but I read the reviews on yelp and decided not to go there" He was surprised they had the facilities on yelp. I just giggled. After my visit I went to get blood and x-rays. The lab is in the same building, very convenient. I filled out a lab slip and waited a few minutes. The x-ray technician came for me first. He was very friendly and quick. Then he took me back to the lobby where I waited about 5 minutes and got called back for the blood test. The phlebotomist was quick and she didn't hurt me like some people do. I was in and out very quickly. As everyone has their negative and positive experiences with clinics and doctor offices. I had a really good experience. read more

My 2 children and I saw Dr. Molly Davis on two different occasions. She had been highly recommended by friends of ours who took their entire family, including grandmother, to be treated by her. Normally a visit to the family doctor is definitely NOT the highlight of my kids day, however, after being examined by Dr. Davis on their first visit, they were actually excited to be going back ! Dr. Davis treated each of my children with patience, enthusiasm, a bit of humor, and with a gentle touch. I have been a patient at this location and of Dr. Molly Davis for almost 4 years. It has ALWAYS been impossible to get an appointment. Yesterday was the WORST! I called at 8am because of an infection that was getting worse. I was told that there were NO appointments available that day. Really? I called at 8 am and when I try to make a regular appointment, I can't get one because they save the majority of appointments for "same day callers". I was transferred to an advice nurse who was curt and short with me and told me that there no appointments for me. I asked if I could get an appointment at another UC Davis clinic and she told me no. They don't allow patients to visit other clinics. She told me that if I felt that I needed to see a doctor that I could go to any Urgent Care clinics around town. Really? Is that how you treat your patients? I ended up calling the clinic in Elk Grove to see if there was any way I could be seen and all they did was transfer me back to the advice nurse telling me to ask for a certain person who could do it for me. When the nurse answered, I got the worse reception ever and was told that she NEVER does that and there are no appointments for me. I will be leaving this clinic as soon as I can find a doctor in the Sutter Health System. This is NOT the way you treat patients. All of our records are digital, so there was NO reason that I couldn't be seen at another clinic. I ended up at an Urgent Care clinic and received the care I needed. When I explained my problems with UC Davis, they said that this happens a LOT of times to many patients they end up seeing. My advise is to stay away from UC Davis. read more

First of all, this review isn't about the facility or UC Davis in general. It's in regard to newly-acquired Family Practice MD Molly Davis, who may be the single worst physician I have ever had the misfortune to be exposed to. This woman acts as though her patients owe her something. She has a terrible bedside manner, she's rude, self-centered, loves to talk about herself, is incredibly judgemental and seems to want to get you out of her office as fast as humanly possible. Don't try to offer any feedback on your care or she's liable to tell you, "Hey, I'm the doctor here." Case in point; I'm 33, in decent shape, have never smoked and am about six pounds overweight according to the UCD Health chart. She closed our appointment by stating that I am "on my way to a heart attack or stroke." Really, you wacky broad? I was never happier to be done with an appointment in my life. I will definitely NOT be going back to that bitter, sad excuse for a physician. I guess they'll give M.D.s to anyone these days. read more

Dr. Christine Humphrey is an excellent PCP. I've had more health issues this past year than in my previous 55 years on the planet combined. Dr. Humphrey has been a God send. She has empathy, understanding and patience and has helped me navigate what has been a year filled with pain and anxiety. I've had some issues communicating with her MA about faxing Rx refills etc. which I'm happy to overlook because the doctor is so excellent. Dr. Humphrey is a great human being. read more

Unfortunately, I must update my review on this clinic and drop them even further down the food chain as over the past 6 months it's become very apparent this is nothing more than a pill-pushing facility that will prescribe you anything and everything under the sun, but if you have a hiccup in your appointments suddenly you're kicked out of the Clinic completely, and yanked forcefully off all the medication they told you you NEEDED to take for the past several years. The 'facility manager' is clearly a pencil pushing self-serving debutante who only cares about the last time you paid them, not your well being or health. Again, this is not a fault of the Doctor(s) at this facility, but the bureaucratic BS at an administrative level where they think they are 'too good' to help you. You're better off visiting a MED 7, I've been treated much, MUCH better by people who had never met me before and had no reason to ever again. Simply tragic. read more

I am a patient dependent on Morphine. Due to new FDA rules, A doctor must physically hand you the prescription each month instead of calling it in to the Pharmacist. Since my Primary physician was a considerable distance to drive for a piece of paper, I tried to find a physician close to home. I found Dr. Eric Glassberg, located within a few blocks from home. I contacted the office on the first of the new month when the new Doctor was approved by my insurance. I was told I could see the Doctor on the 27th of the month. I informed the staff that I had a refill due on the 10th of the month and to please let the doctor know. I was contacted the next day by office staff and informed that a board certified physician was not comfortable dispensing Morphine. My files are on record with UC Davis and clearly visible to the Doctor for review. My UC Davis Neurosurgeon and my Primary care doctor recommended that Morphine is necessary since no more surgical procedures would be helpful. I was informed by staff at the clinic on Data drive that I could see another physician on the 14th. Again I asked if this new Doctor was comfortable with dispensing a drug that is a beneficial drug in some instances, in which I qualify. I was told "I don't Know" Doctor Glassberg is a physician that does not know how to use the tools of his trade without fear. or understanding of ones pain. Shame on him and shame on the UC Davis clinic on Data drive. Now I have no Doctor and am trying to get back in to my doctor which is not excepting new patients! read more

I have been seeing Molly Davis for over a year and I have never received such great care. Her bedside manor is amazing, she is thorough and pays attention to all the details. I have had really bad experiences with my health and doctors but she is great. I have 100% confidence in her and I have recommended my family to her, we all see her now. I would recommend anyone and everyone to be treated by her. She hasn't missed anything and I just love her personality and everything. Her assistant Nicki is amazing as well. They make me feel safe and they make me feel confident in my care. In my 12 years of adult life I have had nothing but failures for dr's. In a few different companies ( kaiser and Uc Davis). Anyways. I've been going to this medical practice for years, since it was in their prior location. Yesterday, I called to make an appointment and was able to get in on the same day. My prior PCP had left the practice, so I requested Dr. Molly Davis, since I had seen her once before. I am writing this review, in part, because I read some prior negative reviews about her. Well, I've got to tell you if there is a more caring doctor on this planet, I'd like to find them. She is just IDEAL to work with. She listens to your medical history, gives you advice when necessary, and overall I felt like I was the center of attention when she was in the exam room with me. Sure, we all want our doc's to have bedside manners, which she certainly has in spades, but her medial advice is equally as strong. I'm very happy she is my doctor. As well, all of the staff at this facility are professional, nice, and friendly. I can't believe anyone would have a bad experience. I'm 74 years old, have the normal issues with being "old" and wouldn't even consider going somewhere else. read more

Cast aside your skepticism, and open your minds: I signed up with a Yelp account specifically to give a positive shout out to my PCP: Dr. Molly Davis, of the UCD in Rancho Cordova. She has been my doctor for over a year, and she has always been not just a great doctor, but also a compassionate and honest professional in her field. I originally saw her when I found myself, ahem- "in the family way", and not only did she manage to make me laugh (while in a situation that would be termed by some as 'undesirable') she was also able to not only recommend, but have me assigned to a fantastic ob/gyn in the same practice. Since then, I've been to see her a handful of times, and I always leave knowing that I am armed with all the facts, and the power to make my own decision about my care. I strongly recommend her to anyone who is tired of being coddled and over-prescribed by the medical field. I am new to the area and have been assigned to Dr. Glassman. I recently donated my kidney and have had some complications and really needed to be seen but hadn't established care here yet. After talking with an advice nurse, I was able to get in last week with another doctor who was ok and helped with some temporary relief and then scheduled me to see Dr. Glassman yesterday to follow up. When I left there last week, I wasn't too sure how I felt about it; however, after my visit with Dr. Glassman yesterday, I was really happy that he is my new physician. To start off, his nurse is fabulous! Great personality, makes you feel comfortable and I just really liked her. Then Dr. Glassman came in and he listened to the issues I was having, asked relevant questions, talked about what long term care we may have to pursue if UCSF (where I donated my kidney) was unable to or unwilling to relieve the issues I've had post op. He was so easy to talk to, so down to earth, he was just a regular guy who happens to practice medicine and truly cared about helping me. He is someone many physicians could look to in regards to the way he treats his patients because he really is phenomenal. I work in the health insurance industry and hear a lot of stories about how bad medical care has become and how hard it is to find a provider that truly cares, so I am so appreciative that I found one of the few that would make the medical community proud! Worst doctor experience I have ever had. At first I thought maybe it was just the doctor, I saw Molly Davis who was THE RUDEST individual I have ever come in contact with. How she is in a position working with others, let alone as a doctor, is beyond me. I also woke up the next day with the worst cold I've ever had, and i'm not usually one to get sick, certainly not after just having gone to see the doctor. The plot thickened when 6 months later I was sent the bill for the visit I had, only to find that the visit had been immensely over-coded. When I called to dispute I spoke with the man who I'm told works in the billing department, who continually told me he didn't know what to tell me. Upon asking to speak with someone who could tell me something I was transferred to who I assume is the office manager. SURPRISE, she doesn't like to return phone calls. Good luck if you pick this office to service you in any way. I wouldn't even go in there to ask to use the bathroom, chances are you'd get sick just from that. read more
