I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone dealing with kidney stones. I can't say enough good things about him! I started having excruciating pain a little over two months ago and was certain it was a kidney stone since I had them about 15 years ago and it's a pain you don't forget. I was referred to Dr. Patel and I am so grateful I found him. He's the most understanding, caring, kind and knowledgeable doctor I've dealt with when it comes to stones. He takes his time with you and educates his patients in great detail on how to prevent future kidney stones and walks you through the process every step of the way. Unfortunately, I had 2 stones. One that took me almost 2 weeks to pass. I ended up needing lithotripsy for the other, which I had done last week. He kept me informed on the process every step of the way which helped with any fears I had. He had me bring the stone I did pass back to him so the lab could determine what it was made of to help prevent future stones. He also had me do a 48 hour urine collection to assist with stone prevention. He made sure to educate me on what changes to make in my diet to assist with stone prevention and taught me how important hydrating is. I hate drinking water and love drinking soda but I now understand the impact that these habits have on my body. He truly cares about getting his patients stone free for life and is extremely empathetic about the excruciating pain these nasty rocks cause. He's also just an all around great guy and has an amazing bedside manner. I also have to say that his nurse, Lariza is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! She's extremely caring and attentive. She called me back every time I had a question or concern and always made sure my mind was at peace when I had concerns about anything I was going through. I'm finally at the tail end of this whole ordeal and starting to feel like myself again and I'm beyond grateful to have had both Dr. Patel and Lariza help me through this process. While this is not something anyone wants to go through, having Dr. Patel and Lariza's support during this time will make it easier. I know this firsthand! read more

This so called Dr. Roshan Patel And Surgeon is one of the worse Doctor's ever. He doesn't know what he is doing. He over promises and under delivered. If you want this happened to you after removing your kidney stone, with no regards than this is your doctor. Please research other doctors that are able to do a better job and follow up. If I could leave zero Stars then I would! Unfortunately I had been diagnosed with kidney stones and It was recommended that I have my kidney stones removed!! That being said, I was recommended too be seen by UCI Urology and Ramy Yaacoub. ( I can't give him the luxury title of being called doctor because he did not act like a doctor!!) and definitely did not care about his patients and what we are all going through! Mr Yaccoub was very rude from the very beginning! He was very rude while I was telling him my issues and why I was there! He even rolled his eyes at me a few times! Even my daughter was appalled by his actions!! Anyways he stated that he was #1 in the business and that he could literally do these surgeries with his eyes closed!! He may have been number one where he's from in Hong Kong ( I think that's where he stated that he was from) but here in America he is definitely not #1 and I swear just like he said, he must have done my surgery with his eyes closed! Lol because not only did he put the wrong size of stent but he also put it in wrong!! Leaving me to have too go to the emergency room the next day and have to have emergency surgery just to have it fixed again and repaired the right way! Too be repaired correctly!! Unfortunately his cocky attitude almost cost me my life!! Either he does not know what he is doing or he just did not care about me & my life or my situation!! I would say the second because he was so darned rude too me & my daughter that I believe he didn't give a shit about me or my situation!! All he showed that he cared about was the money! Of course! Unfortunately Dr Ramy Yaccoub is very rude and has a horrible bedside manner!! He had an attitude from the get-go!! And when I explained my story to him he just rolled his eyes again and didn't show any caring emotions at all. I explained that in 2017 I ended up with a blood infection & went septic and was on life support for a week, fighting for my life!! All due too my kidney stones and a blood infection. I stated that I needed to get all of the kidney stones out so that I wouldn't have to go through that again!! That's when he claimed to be the best & that he could do this surgery with his eyes closed! This kidney stone surgery turned out to be two surgeries instead of only 1 and I had to go through double the trauma due to his negligence! He was so rude that I don't even recommend him too anyone not even a dog should be seen by him!! That's how incompetent he is! I'm going to post this everywhere so that people are aware that this man is an ARROGANT and INCOMPETENT doctor and shouldn't even be called a Doctor!! If you value your life and you care about how you're treated then please don't go here!! Because unfortunately he is only going too piss you off!! Then you have to start all over again looking for a good urologist!! If you don't mind traveling a little further, then you might want to check out Tri-Valley Urology they have many good urologists on site! They all work together too give you the best results and outcome to your situation as possible! Good luck on your search! Butt please stay clear from here!! That's if you value your life and don't want to have too go through another surgery to fix what this man couldn't fix in the first place!!
